2nd Ghoulfriend - Action

"It's raining!"

Have a cheerful vampire girl running around, giggling as she rolls in the soft grass of the Genessia park among the rain, having a ball, jumping about, turning into a bat, flying about and landing in the soft squishy grass.

"Oh all the snow's cleared and it's so nice and I applied for normie work...! What a day!"

Later on, she would be having a coffee in the middle of the brightest park of the town.

"IT'S SUNNY!"

All of Draculaura's delights came back to her as she was rolling around in the dry grass, giggling. See a pattern? Come gawk at the vampire.

[ And here comes Remilia, holding a parasol and... finds this. ]

What are you doing!? You'll start burning up!

[Draculaura looks up, spits out a bit of grass and tilts her head.]

What? No, that won't happen. That just happens in movies!

[ And it's Remilia's turn to look confused. ]

...Well, it happens to me.

...Not instantly, it takes a while, but sunlight and I aren't exactly fond of each other.

Really? I've never met another vampire who actually has weaknesses. I guess it must be different worlds and all.

Would you like to sit in the grass with me? It's nice and cool.

[Anastasia was out and about running errands. She hadn't picked them up yet and always comes to Genessia for the good, organic stuff. The fruits and veggies needed for certain recipes sold in Nova don't feel natural to her.

She was with one of her Pokémon, one that was behaving for once, but... Well, now it's gone. It wandered off again. So much for not misbehaving today. Like an attentive mom, she quickly noticed.]

Phantasma, get back here!

[The spoopy ghosty-goo floated over Draculaura, staring inquisitively at the vampire and mimicing her rolling motions. Anastasia quickly caught up to her wayward Pokemon.]

Phantasma, you promised. ... [Glancing to Draculaura.] ...I'm sorry, Ma'am. I hope she didn't disturb you.

Oh no, she didn't bother me one bit!

[Draculaura is sitting in the tall grass, grinning at Anastasia and at Phantasma.]

It's nice to have a friend to roll in the grass with.

That's good. Ghost-type Pokémon love to prank people.

[Rolling around seems...kind of fun? She doesn't know if she can do that. She was wearing a pretty dress and Satsuki might be worried if she came home dirty.

But Anastasia realized that voice and accent was familiar.]

... Draculaura?

Ghost-type Pokemon huh? They sound so clawsome!

Ah, yes, I'm Draculaura. We've met haven't we?

[She vaguely remembers talking to a few people in the last couple of weeks.]

[Anastasia is sure of it now.]

This is our first time meeting in person, but we spoke before. I'm Anastasia.

[Once this is out of the way, maybe Anastasia can show off her other Pokémon.]

Ah, Anastasia, I spoke to you about school didn't I? That was a nice conversation.

[Getting up, she can give her a hug now. Personal space be darned.]

We did. It's good to see you in person.

[Anastasia doesn't mind hugs if it's from other girls. Heck, she'll hug back.
And there's Phantasma, floating around and making its spooky cry wondering where her hug is.]

I must say, your hair is quite unique. Did you do it yourself?

Ah yes actually! After a couple of centuries it gets tiresome to wear the same hair all the time, so I dye pink into it!

[She'll give Phantasma a hug as well. I mean, why wouldn't she?]

I can't imagine dying my hair. And I feel somewhat awkward trying a new style.

[She might wear her hair in twin tails, but she rarely has an excuse to do so.

As Draculaura closes in to hug Phantasma, she just goes right through it. Phantasma is as intangible as any ghost, and it clearly knew this. Phantasma was giggling.]

Wait....Did you say "centuries?"

Dying your hair adds a new look! You could add a lot of color to blonde.

[She nodded at Anastasia's surprise.]

I'm 1600 years old!

[Her mother, and probably Satsuki, would have a fit if Anastasia tried to color her hair.]

I think I'll stick to styling. It would be easier to change if I don't like it. You know? Speaking of, I do like your style.

[But now, 1600 years old? Draculaura only appears to be a few years older than Anastasia.]

1600 years? Are... Are you immortal as well?

Thanks, I actually make all my clothing. I couldn't exactly shop to be perfectly honest. Normie stores don't accept my kind around places.

[She shook her head.]

I'm just long lived. Dad is about 2600 or so, we've lost count.

I'm sorry to hear... Have you tried Everglade? I'd imagine it would be more accepting.

I can't imagine living for so long. I was 12 when...

[When higher forces transformed her.]

...Well, it's complicated. Forget I said anything...

Oh, not here I mean. I mean back home, we're in hiding. Kind of. Kind of hard to hide when you've got a school now. Here, I'm just having fun mingling with the Normies.

It's been challenging, but I've actually adjusted really well.

[She tilted her head.]

Oh you were pretty young too when things happened?

Oh, that makes sense. I can't imagine being in hiding.

[She flinched.]

A-actually I do, but... It's not the best place to talk about it.

[Don't get depressed, be cool for your new gal pal, Ana. Draculaura was so outgoing that Anastasia wishes she could be half as energetic.]

It's good you're doing well, at least. It took me longer to get used to being here.

And I suppose I was young when it happened. In relation to Genessia's time, it happened about three years ago...

[And yet she was still a short 4'5". Not having grown any since the change.]

Well yeah, I mean, being able to go out into a normie city? Even many of them at the same time? It was a big adjustment.

Ah I see. Well don't worry too much about it, I'm sure you'll be okay.

[Draculaura was pretty short too to be honest.]

[Short people unite?]

I know I will. I have a lot of great friends looking out for me.

I'm having fun talking with you, Draculaura.

[So much fun, she forgot she was supposed to get groceries.]

That's good, I've met a few people and I like them too.

Same here! Oh by the way, are you in the middle of something? Can I help?

[She wanted to know what a normie day was like.]

[Anastasia felt a chill down her spine thinking about Satsuki's disappointed face when she finds out she got distracted.]

Oh, shoot... Yeah, I am. I was going to get some groceries. You can come with me, I don't mind.

[Anastasia recalls Phantasma back to its Pokeball. She doesn't want to have to worry about the Ghost-type wandering off again.]

Oh! Oh course, I'll come with you. I can even carry some of the groceries too.

It'll be fun!

[Getting up out of the grass, she smiled.]
