Maybe extending a friendly hand to her now was Oswald's way of trying to make up for things in the past that he couldn't change. He couldn't go back and fix the way he'd treated Isabella, but with Kristen perhaps he could do something positive. As long as she didn't show Ed too much attention, anyway. ]
