I feel very real, if that's any consolation. Welcome to Genessia, whoever you are. We've many Dave's and one Rose, though those names are very common. We've had one Jade, no longer with us. I knew one troll by the name of Porrim Maryam.

As for your question, it depends on what you mean by "game". Literally or poetically? The latter is a very defensible view.

It's not a ridiculous question. If this is a game no one has been able to tell, but that doesn't mean it isn't one.

But if it is, you may be able to tell who's real and who's fake. The pamphlets do say that only the people with these necklaces are "real people," after all.
