Right, so, two things-- both somewhat related.

Looking for bands or solo acts to sing at the upcoming prom. You don't need to audition but if you could meet with me, if you're interested, to work out what set you'd like to sing and the theme and whatnot, let me know.

Secondly, is anyone interested in having a music festival sometime in the next few months? Looking for bands, singers, tech crew--people who drive those little food trucks. Again, let me know. I'll be here.

Finally and lastly, just for kicks and giggles, for class at the end of the month, we're going on a field trip. Anyone is welcome. Bring a packed lunch and running shoes. Telescopes will be provided.

That's all from me.

I've never had issue with people responding to my music thus far, though that could be in part due to a bard's song generally having what one might call a magical effect on allies. Our songs offer strength and support to comrades, often turning the tide of a battle.

There seem to be enough resources available that I can continue my study of more modern style of music. Might you have any recommendations?

Regardless of whether I participate or not, I would be very interested in a music festival. It sounds like it would be quite enjoyable.

I can simply avoid playing the songs I would use during combat. As I have no comrades here I don't believe there should be any effects beyond what music would normally provide. As a musician yourself I'm sure you're aware of the inherent magic that is music itself, yes? Meshing sounds together, note by note, to create something new and beautiful that stirs emotions within.

[ she likes music, even if she has no time available for it beyond what she uses as a bard. ]

What do you play? I had a friend in the previous world who favored the guitar. She preferred to use the acoustic but introduced me to the concept of electric instruments, though I hadn't the opportunity to jam with her.

[ Era is just going to assume that 'jam' here means 'play music with' and hope that she's correct. ]

I quite enjoy the violin! It makes the most wonderful sounds. The recorder is not overly common in my homeland, so I have only been instructed on the flute. Mayhap I'll try playing one while I'm here.

The Professor?
[ well, it's not the oddest name she's encountered. ] Well met. I am Era. I look forward to hearing your skill on the electric guitar in the near future.

How unfortunate. I'm sure with a skilled player it would sound lovely, much like any instrument.

I've no plans in the immediate future save for work, so you are welcome to contact me to arrange a meeting at any time.
