[A soft thud could be heard as Kuwabara drops his welcome to box, turning the video on his phone.]

Shit! What the hell is this place? [all that could be seen are his feet and legs as he paced back and forth in front of the communicator] Huh...what's this?

[He reached down to grab the phone he stared blankly at the screen.]

We're not in Tokyo anymore am are we Eikichi.....wait...Eikichi! Here kitty kitty! [his face grew panicked as he called out for his cat. The last thing he remembered was feeding the tabby cat and waking up in this strange place. What if some horrible demon or spirit attacked him and kidnapped his precious baby and dumped him here?!]

[His eyes open and moves in slow strides toward the box that he can't read the language of. Something called him to it but being what he is, touching it would kill whatever is inside. He looks to Kuwabara and nods once. At least he's acknowledged and he's being somewhat polite.]

I am Caius.

[He stays back for good reason and he won't shake hands, not unless Kuwabara wants to suffer necrosis. He takes two more steps back and shakes his head twice. The feeling of something pulling at him hard to stay away from the box is pretty apparent by now.]

[He normally didn't shake hands with strange men, in strange places, and wearing strange clothing. Being friends with a spirit detective made you a jaded person with trust issues.]

Huh? oh...I guess. It came with this strange phone thing... [He waved the phone around clueless to its actual use.] Let's see....[Kuwabara leaned down to pick it up squatting in the process] blah blah...don't worry...use this...find a place to live...oh look money.

So this isn't the demon realm....or my home town. Great. Hopefully Sis will take care of Eikichi. OH man...wait she is going to murder me anyways. I have a test today! [He squatted there having his own mild freak out before looking at Caius again] so you from here?

[action] Yes! This will be the most oddest adventure ever. He must have sensed a cockroach. :P

[He takes no offense to that which is incredibly rare that he's ever offended at all. After seeing over 2000 years of b.s., he can't blame anyone for being jaded. It only means surviving.

He turns his attention from whatever he sensed back to Kuwabara, he didn't shrug but he did cant his head to the side a little at the question. A flash of a grin shows but then vanishes just as fast.]

No. I am the keeper of the dead. It matters little where I appear. Death is present in any world.

[That's the truth, but man, it never makes explaining this any easier.]

[His face paled then he laughed] Eh?! Really death...and the dead? Do you know Koenma then? Work with the spirit world too?

[He stated clueless to it all. Of course, he thought this guy was a little bit of a downer but who were he to judge? His best friends was a demon-prince, a fox spirit, and an angry three eyed midget.]

For a second I thought you might be a demon or something..[Kuwabara rubbed the back of his neck.] Not that anything is wrong with that!

[action] Mouse works.

[Downer is right. He's not exactly the "life" of the party, that's for damn sure. He steps toward one of the pods and looks down without touching it. Whoever is inside or may appear inside of it might not like the feeling of him being around.

A small creature made that mistake and ran off to die. To Caius, it felt like he was jolted by electric energy. He lifts his foot just as the creature scurries away with a scoff.]

Tch.

[He feels the death of the tiny animal. He lifts his hand to absorb the energy which in turn causes it to vanish.]

And so, you have allies in the realm beyond yet you still live? To claim this without experiencing death itself is both impressive and disturbing. Is it common in your world?

[He gulped a bit watching the mouse bit the dust, just from touching the guy. Oh yeah....no touchie touch that was for sure. Suddenly he was kind of glad this guy didn't come for a fight.]

Uh? Yeah...well not really common. I am just that awesome. [Laughing nervously he pocketed his welcome to kit into the pocket of his jacket.] I just got some crazy friends who would be dead without me.

[action] Poor mouse. We knew him well....for 15 seconds.

[Let's just hope there are no other unfortunate "Hamlets". It's a good thing that it's shown first than an accidental contact. Yeah, he would rather risk vanishing than killing another living thing without cause. Fighting him is a mistake. At least it's cold around him, if anyone can handle that uneasy, dead feeling.]

Hm, you sound confident. Perhaps you can lend your hand to protect those that need it.

[It's a good thing that Caius knows what he is and tries to stay away. Not that he doesn't like people, he's just...dead.]

Hell yeah I am a guardian! OF JUSTICE, LOVE, AND PEACE! [ He had his usual shit eating grin and flashing a peace sign] I fight for all that is love! For Love! [And start the long awkward laugh as he thought about his girlfriend-not girlfriend Yukina.]

Wherever there is wrong doing, evil people plotting evil things, or beautiful women in danger, I'll be there to stop them. I may not be a spirit detective any more but that won't stop me at all. [ He really wasn't one ever just Yuusuke's sidekick....but he 'forgets' that part of his personal history]

[action] I had a laugh over that. Good lord, Kuwabara! XD

[For the first time in a very long time, Caius is actually stunned. That's a first, and he has a feeling that in this world it won't be the last time either. He's actually stunned speechless and stares. Just...stares.

His mouth open and closes, he can't seem to find anything that comes close to what he's encountered, other than Noel's idealism. But even then, he isn't quite so enthusiastic.]

[action] its only funny.......because he seriously means it

[He looked over at the guy still grinning and rubbed his nose a bit.] Its my man-code. I got life rules to live life by!

Anyways, my sword will always be there to protect people. What is the point of having spiritual energy if you don't use it to help those in need? [Though his friends would argue his pure nature and altruism, he knew they would do the same- just not as honest about it.]

[action] That's very true. :)

[Okay, he can understand that. He takes pride in knowing that he has a purpose and having that purpose, no matter what it is, gives any man something to fight for. He nods in agreement.]

Use your power for the sake of others is the best quality of a warrior. You have a purpose. You have a drive. This is all you need to survive as a fighter for peace and...

[He clears his throat.]

[From all the compliments Kuwabara just started to laugh nervously while rubbing the back of his neck.] It was just the way I was raised! Plus I've seen some crazy shit.

[He stared down at his hand a moment and smiled softly.] Plus, if ya are born with something and you don't use it- it becomes a waste.

[He nods once in agreement. He can't argue with that. He's seen stranger things but this is admittedly the first time that anyone has been so adamant.]

You should find your cat.

[Since he's the only one left of his tribe and Yeul isn't here with him, he's not about to keep Kuwabara from finding his lost pet. He steps toward the entrance of the bay and walks through the threshold.]
