🎶 001. An abrupt Arrival
🎶 A. [CLOSED - XANDER] Rude Awakening
[Of the pair, Azura is the first to wake up. It works out as well as it could, considering she is able to watch the majority of Weiss' speech, and read information as best she can. It's not until after she gathers this information and does her best to absorb it that she finds Xander's sleeping form in one of the other pods in the area. She frowns, her breath exhaling in a gasp of concern as she steps over to rest a hand lightly on the Prince of Nohr's shoulder lightly.]
Prince Xander, you need to wake up. [she says this quietly, leaned over close to the side of his face, almost like it's a secret, but mostly so she doesn't startle him awake into a defensive mood.]
🎶 B. [OPEN - VIDEO] Job Seeking
I've had time to sit down and gather information since finding myself in this world, and it's become clear that I will need to seek employment here in order to look after myself. I have a few skills that could prove useful, but I'm not certain where to start. [Azura holds herself much like royalty would, but with a down to earth air that may make it harder to discern if she's royal or simply just a little more noble than common. Whatever she's perceived as, Azura doesn't give off the air that it is all that important in this situation.]
I'm a songstress where I come from, and have danced in the past. I am able to fight if I must, but I would prefer to avoid that option if at all possible. [fighting was a skill she had, of course, but it was one she preferred to use only when she had to, like the situation she, Corrin and the others had found themselves in.] I would prefer to find something sooner rather than later.
🎶 C. [OPEN - ACTION] Water Song
[Azura is one to seek solitude normally, so with such a jarring and overwhelming arrival, she's found a garden or park with a fountain to take a moment to relax. Of course with this comes her habit of singing—it's a relaxing activity for her, and the song is of course, one she finds comforting since it's one she finds herself singing often. The tune starts out somber but her voice is clear, attracting a bird or two to light atop the fountain.
The water itself seems to splash in a way that enhances the sound of the song, without actually dousing Azura herself in water. By now, she's so lost in her song that she could easily be approached without her noticing -- if she startles, it's likely you're going to get wet when the water sputters out of its song enhanced trance. After that happens, Azura stands up abruptly, turning on her bare heel to look shocked at her now wet companion.]
Goodness!
🎶 D. [OPEN] Wildcard
[[ooc: you know how these work. If none of the other options work for you but you still want to tag Azura, feel free to go with Wildcard. She can be found wandering Nova City, shoeless, but curious and kind of taken aback by the technology. Enjoy! You can contact me for plotting otherwise!]]

B. Video
[He could do what he usually does and direct her to the job-finding thingy that's so helpful, or he could be a little more selfish.
He's weak.]
Do you dance in the present? Is it a very exotic one? Something teachable, perhaps?
no subject
I do dance, though I am more of a songstress. [she pauses, considering.] What sort of dance would you consider exotic? What I consider commonplace could be very different for you.
I suppose I would be able to teach, however.
no subject
[That's one way to get it. He could've just asked, but why be
politenormal?]Saliently said; suppose the only way to know for sure would be a performance. Were it idiosyncratic enough, I'd love to know it too.
[Is she thinking what he's thinking?]
no subject
I wouldn't mind showing you a dance if that is what you're asking. But it would need to be in person. [there's no easy way to do this over the strange network, and if she was honest she's not wholly comfortable with the concept to begin with.]
no subject
Oh, well you know it means, ah, "blue", or a lighter shade of it, and your hair is very blue too, so it's, ah, appropriate.
That'd be lovely! We might have a cultural exchange; I've a few steps of my own. Are you free now? It's still light out.

I'm sorry, I didn't notice you there. I hope I haven't intruded.

[She offers the other woman a soft smile, hoping not to come off as strange for being interested. It had been a long time since she had heard singing or even done so herself.]
no subject
It's a song I find myself thinking of a lot as of late. I suppose I was feeling a little homesick, having just found myself in this place.

C
That was such a beautiful song.
no subject
Why thank you. I had no idea I had an audience.
no subject
[She wasn't sure, she would feel bad if that was the case.]
But I couldn't help but watch.
no subject
Please, don't feel you should apologize. I don't mind, really.

It's only after a second or two, when he finally comes to completely and isn't in that weird half-dreaming, half awake state, that he realizes who he's looking at. He retracts his hand quickly. ]
Azura. [ A question and an exclamation. Surprise. He's sitting up in the pod and it's a miracle it didn't tip over with how quickly he moved. ] What are you doing? Where — [ He looks around, brows furrowed. ] What is this?
no subject
Instead she frowns, her eyebrows lifting in the center in concern.] It is a lot to take in upon waking, I know. Take a minute to gather your bearings, and I'll tell you what I've learned since waking up.
Luckily, we are not in any immediate danger. [which should be of some relief, though she has her doubts that it will be enough for Xander. There's more on either of their minds than just themselves, for certain.]
no subject
So far as we know. [ He says, ever cautious and prepared for potential danger. A hand moves to his side, checking to see that his sword is still there. It is. Good. ] What have you learned?
no subject
And, from what I gather, there's no easy way to return from where we came, unfortunately. If there's anything else you have to ask, I can do my best to find an answer, in case I may have missed something important.
video;
[hello there, friend! robin smiled into the feed, nodding as she thought about a possible career for her.]
I believe there are jobs for performance and entertainment everywhere. I think there are ones for a title such as an "idol" even. Though, that may be... not what you are looking for.
Either way, I would love to hear your music sometime!
gentle gasp
But I wouldn't mind singing for you sometime if you truly wanted to hear it. [she's used to being asked at least.]
tactician and songstress... together at last
[though, because something about azura reminds her of olivia, she has to ask-]
Ah, do you have any other skills besides entertainment? I am a Tactician so, I feel the need to know.
meant 2 be
I assume you mean on the battlefield? [considering the mention of her role as a tactician, it made sense.] I can wield a lance or naginata if I must. [in fact, she'll pull the weapon over to show it in the video, as it had been left to sit aside, since it wasn't essential to her video to begin with.]
(no subject)
C
I am sorry, I did not mean to startle you. I heard your song and just wished to know what kind of person was singing it.
no subject
Ah, no. No need to apologize. But I must ask... where... did you come from? [she missed the dragon form dropping out of the sky afterall.]
no subject
I can cover great distances relatively unnoticed. Again I apologize for startling you. I simply didn't wish to disturb you.
no subject
[the apology gets a shake of her head though -- no harm done, afterall.]
