[ Hiei was cryptic that way. People who knew of their world and their abilities were able to find him if he allowed it. If not he would have set them all off on a wild goose chase for his energy. He was pretty amused that Kuwabara was actually sharper than usual. ]

[Kurama would arrive late on purpose. He needed to talk to Hiei alone, and while he was eager to see Kuwabara and the others in person, he had refrained from making personal contact in favor of uninhibited exploration. He would walk up quietly, not to surprise, but not to give any illusions either]

[ As Hiei figured. He didn't expect Kurama to be talking to him with everyone there. There was something tugging at him since he got here. He's not completely pleased with it, but at least he didn't have to be restrained anymore. He flexed his dragon arm before glancing at the fox approaching him. ]

[ He gives the fox an indifferent look. ]

[Double-edged sword now matter how you approached him. Overly aggressive too. This is why Koenma didn't like conversing with him. He always felt intimidated.]

[Kuwabara would grow serious after that. He got a smug smirk on his face watching the sneer on Hiei's face even though he had just fractured his wrist. His next statement would rile him up, and even he knew that the midget was trying to test him. It really went without saying.

Three years of growing up did help his more hot-headed gut reactions. The fight would go on, and they would speak with their fists. Yet, there was something that would always be true, he could never beat Hiei on pure strength. Yet, this wasn't about beating one another more than connecting in the only way they both knew how.

So in the end, he would lean his back against one of the broken tree trunk. A throaty laugh echoing in the night air. His fracture wrist rested in his lap. He had the usual wounds, a cut and swollen lip, various bruising on his body, broken rib, and small cuts. The only bright side he saw was that Hiei didn't look much better than he did. ]

I fucking missed this. [He said softly looking up at the night sky. At least it was the same as back home.]

[ Testing Kuwabara was one of the most amusing things he gets to do. He doesn't go all out since Kuwabara's human but he uses enough demon energy that Kuwabara could keep up with until he decided he was going to beat up the red head unconditionally. He's a little battered with some bruises here and there, scratches and other such things he obtained from battle, but nothing that he wasn't already used to.

Silence welcomed them as they concentrated on fighting and when the fight was done, they were both pretty riled up and battered. Not that it battered. Hiei spat out some more blood from the few punches that Kuwabara did land on him. He's quite amused that the idiot got a lot stronger more creative in the last three years. He wasn't using brute force like a stupid moron.

The half demon only scoffed at that comment. ]

Don't miss it too much. I won't go easy on you next time idiot, but it seems like you've at least improved.
