Action - Attleton
[Takeru had been keeping a secret and the secret was rather simple, to say the least, one that didn't really need to be a secret. He was learning how to dance and he had picked a place in Attleton of all things to learn. The reason behind it was when he had days off he could visit Hikari either before or after the lesson just to say hi and have a chat if she had the time.

So today had been another day off and another day of lessons. He wasn't sure if he was improving or not, but he liked to think he was and that was what mattered. With the lessons being over he was going to make his way back home when he came across something brushing up against his leg. It was a cat, quite a fluffy cat as well and seemed to want a bit of a fuss.

So he had stopped moving for the time being going to kneel down and simply fuss the cat for the time being, what is the worst that can happen with that after all.]

Action - Genessia, Apartment
[Takeru had managed to get home and at his heels was the cat that seemed to pick up from Attleton. It just wouldn't leave him alone. So as he got into the apartment he placed his keys to the side, walking further in the cat started to go on ahead, jumping up on the couch and curling up into a ball, causing the young man to pause for a moment before looking around.]

Anyone home? [he figured he might as well check.]

Is anyone missing a cat?

[It was the first words to come out of the young mans mouth as he appears on the feed. he's sitting on the couch and the cat in question had pretty much made itself at home and was nestled on top of some pillows next to him.]

This little guy wouldn't stop following me so I figured I would ask here first before checking elsewhere. I mean he seems way to nice to be a stray after all. [But if he was, he wasn't exactly sure what he wanted to do anyway.]

[As it so happened, Hikari was not home yet.]

[In fact, it would be more than an hour later before she finally stepped through the front door, offering her usual 'I'm home!' call as she slipped from her outdoor shoes to her indoor slippers. As usual, Natu was quick to greet her, and she knelt down to offer the little guy a pat on the head. The slight stains on his beak told her he must have been in the middle of eating when she came back, which would explain why he took off soon after to return to the kitchen.]

[That Abra had yet to come out of her room was also not much of a surprise. He was typically napping this time of day and would wake up in time for an early dinner.]

[...however, what she wasn't expecting was the new face currently curled up on their common room couch.]

Oh. ...hello, there.

[Takeru hadn't been on the living room at the time, mostly because he had decided to take Zorua to the bathroom to give him a wash after he surprised the other, ending up being covered in food that Takeru had been making at the time.

With that job done and out of the way Zorua comes out and shakes his fur as the cat now awake thanks to the spatter of water hitting it was clearly not impressed before Takeru finally made an appearance.]

Zorua, I told you to wait until I dried you since I need you to be dry. [he soon paused, slowly but surely glancing over at the other who he now realised was home.]

Hello Hikari. I guess you saw the cat, huh?

[By the time Takeru appeared in the room, Hikari was already kneeling down, one hand extended in offering for the cat to sniff. Waiting for permission before daring to approach. She looked up at his greeting, smiling without moving too much, and nodded in response to his question.]

How'd they get here?

They followed me home after I gave them a fuss earlier.

[He threw the towel on top of his pokemon's head to get him to stop moving before going to kneel down to start drying. The cat itself soon found itself leaning in slightly, sniffing for a moment before pressing their head against her hand.]

Doesn't seem to want to leave.

[intothelens]

[She let out an amused chuckle.]

That seems to be a recurring theme with us, doesn't it?

[With the exceptions of their 'starters', that was more or less how the both of them had gained their Pokemon companions. And speaking of...]

They're very sweet. [Having been accepted, she proceeded to offer ear scratches that were extremely welcome, judging by the purring sounds that soon followed.] I wonder if they're a boy or a girl....

[trollkeru]

I guess animals are just somehow drawn to us. [A pause.] I am starting to wonder if I smell nice or something.

[Zorua was making a fuss about the drying as Takeru pulled the towel away.]

If you hadn't made me jump, this wouldn't have happened. [He was pretty sure he was mostly dry at this moment. He soon moved to stand up, going to take the towel to the laundry basket before he turned his head slightly.]

As for if they are a boy or a girl. I do not know. I didn't think to check. Guess we'll find out eventually, though.

[A light flush threatened her cheeks at his initial comment, and for a brief moment, she very nearly considered telling him that...actually, yes, he did smell nice. But then, fortunately, Zorua provided ample opportunity for a subject change, and she turned back to them with a light giggle.]

What happened?

I was trying to make lunch and Zorua thought it would be hilarious to come up from behind.

[He had at least cleaned up the mess anyway, but he felt like it was a waste. Once he was sure Zorua was fine he left him to it and instead went to put the tower in with the laundry.]

He's the only one who thinks it's funny.

[intothelens]

[...maybe not the only one, as she stiffened another wave of giggles. Or at least attempted to.]

Maybe we should put a bell on them. We used to do that with Miko.

[Takeru looked at her for a moment. He could see she was trying to not laugh. he was aware. Honestly, he probably would have if it had happened to anyone else. But a small grin passed by his lips.]

Maybe, but if they are smart enough they might figure out ways to get them off. But also you wouldn't get hilarious moments, am I right?

(Taichi was busy pouring through the paper in the kitchen as he figured now was the time to get a little serious when it came to finding a proper job. Plus, at this time of day Abra was more or less asleep so it meant he had time to focus. To a point, anyway.

Making his way into the main room, his eyes widened a bit upon seeing...a cat. On the couch.)

Almost thought you were gonna say 'guess who finally showed up?'

[He glanced over at the cat who was pretty much making itself at home. Not much he could do without moving them himself and right now, he rather just let it hang out until it got it out of its system.]

You would think that, but no. The cat is probably just going to chill for a time, just didn't want to leave me alone. [He paused for a moment. Before looking around. he was pretty sure there was no one else around currently. Well, this was probably a good time as any really.]

Since it's just the two of us, the Pokemon and...this cat. I need to talk to you.

Huh. Might be good to have a normal cat around. (It'd more than likely remind Hikari of their family cat, but he didn't have a problem. After taking a moment to reach out and stroke the cat gently, Taichi stretched a bit before his expression became somewhat serious.

If Takeru wanted to talk, then things must be pretty intense. Not that they hadn't already discussed intense stuff before...)

...Something on your mind? Does it involve Hikari? (A 50/50 chance at best. He knew every conversation they'd have wouldn't revolve around his sister.)

Might be good or we might have a bunch of jealous Pokemon lingering around.

[He looked over toward the room he was pretty sure Abra was in before looking back over]

Well technically a combo of both. [He wasn't wrong, it had been on his mind and it did involve his sister, but he felt like he should at least say it wasn't anything bad.]

Nothing bad, but um... It's just asking about how you feel about Hikari and I dating? I mean you did kind of arrive here like a month after we decided to give it a try and...considering back home you are one of the most important people to Hikari. [he paused for a moment.]

I guess, I just want things to be okay, even with the change I guess. I could also have been worrying for nothing.

Do Abra get jealous? I thought all they did was eat and sleep. And occasionally teleport.

(Despite his grin, Taichi was listening to what Takeru had to say, waiting for him to finish before answering.)

Considering you're one of a few people I trust around Hikari in general, I'm pleased you double checked with me even though things will be...a bit different. As long as you treat her right and protect her when I'm not able to, I don't have a problem with it.

(His grin became a smirk within seconds as he paused briefly before going on.) Seriously, don't break her heart.

You've never seen him menacingly eat a strawberry at you. But next time you see him and me in the same room with Hikari nearby, you'll see it.

[That was certainly a fun first meeting. He never really expected such a reaction from a Pokemon. He's just glad it's just him giving looks more than anything. He'd be more worried otherwise.]

I promise that I won't hurt her in any way. I can at least promise that much.

[Takeru isn't at all weirded out. He is way to use to having to talk to talking animals. But talking animals in clothes... Sure, why not.]
