Stone Cold
WHO: Satou Kuroneko and her assistant, Enno Diederich
WHAT: They're going to bust heads, and hopefully complete the Stone Cold bounty.
WHEN: May 6th, possibly several days.
WHERE: Everglade; various.
WARNINGS: At least violence.
Reading his freshly delivered paper that day, Enno found himself drifting to the bounties section in spite of himself. With the first one having went mostly well, he decides it's not a terrible idea to try it once more. However, unlike with the Nova City bounty; Enno has one advantage in that he knows someone that might have more information than would be published in the newspaper. This time, he also readies his complete gear, sealing himself in his suit of futuristic armor and tying on his cloak. He clips his Durandal's sheath to his waist and straps his Varista to his right thigh before he makes Deva sync all the armor's systems to help monitor everything.
Within Everglade, where his chosen bounty had been taking place, he has his Partner Machine open a channel to call said person that might have more information, one Detective Kuroneko. Not being the idle sort however, while he waits for Satou to answer, if she will, he relies on word of mouth to get him to one of the murder scenes so he can do a bit of investigation on his own.

So she wastes little time when answering the message. Despite being at the office and sorting through information, she chooses not to ignore a call.]
Good afternoon, Detective Satou of the Everglade Police Force speaking. How may I help you, Mr Enno?

[He's currently inspecting the area, and while he shouldn't be, is using his magic in a less intrusive way, to tell him if any of the minerals here are part of the victim rather than the scenery. Which he does, and pockets a few pieces to keep on his person as this also leads to another reason he contacted her.]
Also...I may need help, Everglade has a great many rules I am to follow, and I am not aware of all of them. I also require someone that has the Sight, if you know of such.

I can't disclose much to a civilian. But if I'm helping and you're my partner... [She reaches for a file that she had been dealing with.] "The Gorgon" is a name they chose themselves. We know they use magic to turn people to stone, emulating the legend, but we can't determine if it's a vision thing.
As such, my first tip would be to keep in mind that closing your eyes may be dangerous. There's a chance this 'Gorgon' can work even if your eyes are closed and that may just put you at a disadvantage.

[Which may not be entirely expected, but he appreciated her candor so far. Though now she presented a new problem he has to pause and think about. If this "Gorgon" turned people to stone, how did they? How could he avoid it?
The reference is lost on him though, as he listens and considers why closing one's eyes might come to mind as a good idea. Still that has little bearing on the present.]
Were the victims related?
[However, thanks to his Partner Machine, he has a good lead to follow on; tracks of some kind, and he opts to follow them, though he is questioning whether it's the bounty or some random being that wandered through...at least until he tracks where the tracks move through in the scene, which is not a straight walking path, they come in one direction, make several steps around, and then go off in another, which would make no sense for a pedestrian, to him at least.]
Frau, are you too busy to come help?

[Satou puts the file in a safe envelope, then holds it in the air. After quickly calculating its size, she causes it to vanish into her dress pocket. Don't ask for the nerdy details.]
Never too busy to help catch a criminal. That's what Detectives are for. Where are you?
