[Eliot has sorted out his work schedule so that he can visit the library more often. He's been freaking out quietly about what it means to be a 'healthy vampire,' and that means stuffing his nose in books. One of his new 'healthy vampire' quirks has been his full psychic abilities. Eliot always knew that he could perform small psychic feats if he had blood, but he's never been properly fed before... Now that he's healthy, Eliot's psychic powers are a lot stronger.

And he's not used to them. So when he's trying to select a book from a high shelf in the library, Eliot is surprised to see the book fly off of the shelf with his powers. So surprised that, in a moment of terror, he has a small outburst and makes more books rain off the shelves. If you're standing next to him, you may get hit.]

Hello, everyone. I wanted to say that I have an opening at my archive business, should anyone need employment. I'm looking for a receptionist. Someone who knows how to use a computer...? I've forgotten and can only use a typewriter, and that's rather slow.

[He hesitates. Almost wanting to cut off the feed, before remembering that there's another issue he needs to address. It's just hard to bring it up.]

And... ahhh, so. Do any of the vampires know how to, uh... Live as a vampire..? I'm feeling turned all over again. How do I handle so much sunshine? And, uh. [His mind wanders. When it does, his psychic powers trigger the collapse of a bookshelf behind him. Fortunately, he's home and not at the library. He still yelps in fearful surprise, triggering a light bulb to drop out of the ceiling.] HAAAaahaha...! H-How does one, uh? Control psychic powers? Oh gosh, h-how embarrassing... Pretend you never saw thaat.

[And he hangs up.]

If you want to go outside I recommend dark umbrellas, dark clothes, and dark glasses. Or only leave when it's cloudy.

Ah, well... I've been a vampire for a long time. But I guess I really have been a 'bad' vampire...?

Someone gave me blood recently, and I'm discovering that my biology changes drastically when I'm not starving myself... eheh. Who knew being healthy had perks..?

[Several books managed to hit Rapunzel on the head before she even looked up. They did fall within quick succession after all. Moving her head she looked up slightly, a brief smile on her face.]

I'm fine. I mean they hurt, but they won't cause any serious problems.

[The greatest sin of all time is hurting Rapunzel. Eliot is temporarily frozen in horror.]

... Oooh, I really hate this psychic thing now. Are you sure? Ugh, I'm so sorry, Rapunzel.

Besides, there are worst things that could have happened if you think of it that way.

Eliot begins lifting the books psychically, though he's not aware of what he's doing just yet.]

Were you looking for something in particular? I hope I didn't ruin your book hunt.

Woah, hey! [Looking to who did it, but the guy looks legitimately sorry, so he'll just let out a sigh and shake his head lightly.] It's fine. I'm okay. And... how about you? You seem frazzled.

[He didn't see how he did it in the first place.]

["Frazzled" is a really nice way of putting it. Eliot squeaks one more apology before trying to deal with the books that fell. Even though he wants to pick them up manually, his psychic powers begin to subconsciously lift and place the other books.]

I'm... okay-ish, haha... I'm so sorry. I'm not used to this psychic thing... It didn't hurt, did it?

I think most people would know how to live as what they are.

[Considering most people might confuse him for a vampire because of his prefered eating methods of blood, when not eating like a normal person. The only difference between him and vampires of his world was the fact he could eat normal food as well. Also vampires are a type of Halfling, which was much lower class.]

If you are at a point you have no idea, I wonder how you managed to actually survive.

The truth is, I've always been very sickly? Now that I'm healthy again, it's strange. I don't know how to live healthy.

[Admittedly, she's a little more than just surprised, but she does at least have enough time (and room) to shield herself with a wing. It's not the most comfortable feeling in the world, being rained on with books, but she does have to laugh a little at the absurdity once she's peeked out to make sure Eliot is okay and that there isn't further danger of a novel attack.]

[He repeats, his panic hushed into a library sized whisper.]

I think so... Oh, gosh. I had no idea I could do that. I'm so sorry.

[She shakes her head again, bending to gather up a few of the closer books.] Really, Eliot, it's okay. No harm done. [She does pause though. How...?] New powers?
