[The phone had been pocketed after Gabriel had given it a once over, familiarizing himself with what was very much a low-tech sort of phone to him. Wasn't even about to willingly mess with it until he had to, because at the moment there was something more important in mind. Gathering as much information about this predicament as he could.

It's a testament to how often Emmy does this that Era doesn't stagger or need to adjust her stance to accommodate her odd summon.
