[It's a little overcast in Fayren, but that's not going to deter Erza from her self-appointed mission! She's never been on a picnic before (at least, not one that wasn't interrupted by bandits), and as far as she's concerned, spring should provide the best picnic weather.

Even if that's not the case in Fayren, there's still four other cities, so she's confident that she'll find a place that works.

The armoured woman will be making her way to various places that sell food - she's not entirely sure what to serve on a picnic, though she has some of the basics down, and with so many cultures here, she wants to try new types of food as well.]

Hmm... I wonder if this would go well with sandwiches... [Erza can be found throughout Fayren and Genessia City, examining an exotic array of foods while carting around an increasingly ridiculous amount of cooking supplies.]

[Private Video to Mirajane]

[Once Erza's finished shopping, she sends a video to Mirajane, with the massive cart piled with food and cooking supplies visible in the background.]

It's a wonderful day in Genessia City - would you like to go for a picnic? [Was there a slight echo effect when she said picnic? ...It's probably nothing.] I've found a park that would be just perfect for it!

Depends on what kind of sandwich...

[Erza's eyes widen in surprise, not expecting an answer to the question she was asking herself, but she smiles once she realizes whose voice it was.] First! [She'll leave the food for now, turning to face her guild master.]

That's not a problem - I wasn't sure what kind of a sandwich to take, so I bought a bunch of different types. [The redhead opens up a basket that she's carrying to reveal about a dozen different sandwiches, ranging from ordinary like tuna or jelly to some unusual combinations.]

[Yup. That's Mavis for you. Always where and when you don't expect her. She waves at Erza as she comes closer and then leans in to examine the content of the basket.] Wow. [That's a lot, Erza!] Are you orghanizing a party?

Sort of - I'm planning a picnic! [Her eyes sparkle a little at that word.]

I've never had a picnic before, and I figured that it would work great for a date with Mira!

[Mavis' eyes sparkle right back.] Pincnics work great for dates. I had one with Zeref, too. It was quite a long time ago, though. We should have another one.

I'm sure he'd like that! What sort of food would be good for one?

Anything you can eat with your fingers, really... Cakes, of course! And candy. But that thing called 'porcorn' is pretty good too.

[Nobody said picnics had to be healthy, right? ...Right?]

Considering the weather is getting warmer, you could also bring milkshakes.

...Oh, what about fruit skewers to dip in chocolate sauce?

[She's totally going to do that for her next picnic with Zeref.]

All of that can be picnic food?

[Erza's pleasantly surprised, and she visibly reacts at the last thing - her mouth is slightly ajar as she imagines what that would be like.]

That sounds incredible! The combination of strawberries and chocolate, blended together... [Or other fruits, of course, but that's the first that comes to mind, given her love of strawberry shortcake.] I'll have to get that!

A picnic you sa-

[By now, Mirajane should be used to how excessively Erza prepares for these things but... there was enough food there for a small army, and it looked like she planned on setting up an entire kitchen right in the middle of their picnic ground.]

Uh... just how many people are invited to this picnic Erza?

[She'd originally thought this was Erza's way of asking her out on a cute sort of romantic little outing but... that's... quite a bit of food and supplies for two people.]

Just the two of us. I figure it would make for a nice date. [Erza's cheeks are a little red - she's not used to taking initiative on this sort of thing, but a picnic is something that she's been looking forward to for a while.]

I'll need to do a bit more shopping first, but after that, I should be ready whenever you are.

[Oh no... Erza's being cute... Mirajane's ultimate weakness! She wants to protest that Erza's overdoing it as usual but, she doesn't have the heart.]

Alright, but you have to at least let me cook you something too.

[It was one of Mirajane's favorite past times after all.]

I haven't gone on a picnic before - this is so exciting!
