[the Doctor is in what appears to be a blanket fort, the light of a laptop screen on his face and reflecting off his sonic sunglasses. He's licking his spoon and finishing off the last of a large tub of ice cream that happens to be on his lap. Someone else is snoring in the darkness out of sight.]

Seen a bit of new people around. Hallo. I'm the Professor, nice to meet you.

Also question, to newbies and old hands alike. What are your summer plans? I've not got a class then and other than the Festival, not much to do. Any ideas would be appreciated.

And ice cream flavors now that I think of it. I've tried almost every one.

[an arm flops over his lap and almost in the ice cream carton before he moves it out of the way. He smiles a bit and pats it. Then glances at the camera and shrugs]

Ehhh in Great Britain, school's off in Summer. Too hot and boring and better spent on holiday, yeah?

But, I'm okay with it. I get sick very easily in hot weather anyway. Well, I did, but I'm okay now.

As for what I did before... Did you mean where did I go to school before Genessia? Or what have I been doing before being enrolled at Hunnouji?

Well, there was no formal name for it, but I always went to the Great Cathedral in my home city to practise law, history, and how to be a Princess.

But while in Genessia, I try to attend costume parties. I went to Prom recently. I sometimes go to Holodeck'd to play. But I usually just run errands, clean and cook. It makes me feel like a wife~

I dunno the Academy, it might have air conditioning, but if it gets to be too much, talk to the Professor, all right? [And points a finger to the blanket-fort's other resident, so it's clear she means 12; not the Academy's teachers.]

[And a nods.] So I guess, gettin' to be with others now is its own kinda luxury, yeah? Like the prom? I don't promise it'll always be like that though. [Stifles a yawn with a fist.] I was bored through most of it. Only got that into it when I was out learnin' by doin'.

[Though she may go to her guardian first. Satsuki owns the Academy, after all.]

I'm sure it will be fun in its own way. As long as I get to make some friends, it will be worth it. And having a ballet class doesn't hurt either.

Ohhh ballet. I never did that. Just gymnastics when I was a kid. You ever do that before?
