City Guardian nominations are now open.
Current Guardians and newcomers are welcome to run. Current Guardians will continue their positions until the election process is complete. In the case of more than one guardian seeking nomination, a vote will be held. Anyone else seeking candidacy must reply to this message by Monday, June 4th. If only one candidate's name is submitted, no vote will be necessary and duties may be assumed immediately at the end of the election period. After the nominations are made, Guardian Candidates will be given a period to campaign and the polls will be open June 24th-29th.
Current Guardians and their deputy teams who are not re-elected will be given a severance package that will last 1 month from the day they leave office to assist in the transition to a new job position.

Candidate Positions: Establishing a superhero organization where qualified people can work as superheroes to keep the peace and decrease mafia activity and murders, beat the current guardian in an indisputable victory and be the best fucking guardian!!!
In-World Accomplishments: Better and stronger than Cassian and I won't build stupid nonsensical boardwalks that waste resources.

City Running for: Everglade
Potential Deputies: Undecided currently.
Candidate Positions: Reinforcement of security within Everglade, priority of relations between undead, deceased, human, and non-human alike as that seems to have... stalled out a little bit, adjustments as necessary to necromancer restrictions including a possible overhaul of the entire system, focus on alternative or safer access to food/nourishment systems, increasing relations between Everglade and the other cities as is appropriate.
In-World Accomplishments: Current lobbyist for the undead and deceased civil rights organization, non-profit establishment owner.
Hobbies: Game shows, entertainment performances, lobbying for what's right, illusion magic, magic in general (the real kind, not cheap parlor tricks), spending time with my pokemon and my twin brother when and where I can~
Other: Perhaps it would be a good idea to look for a fresh new face and take on things to give Everglade the much needed update it needs and deserves? While I certainly don't fault Grell for the missteps I've seen in the city, having a newer perspective on the issues and the city at large would do everyone some good. Mind you, I'm from a world where undead and non-human creatures are just normal citizens of the world so I'm more than familiar. Also being an elf I have more time on my hands as I only need to sleep half of what a human does for the same effect.

City Running for: Everglade.
Potential Deputies: Remilia Scarlet, any other potential deputies.
Candidate Positions: I would make sure to keep the peace between those who aren't human and those who are during my tenure. I would also seek to reduce crime in Everglade as a whole and make it safer for people who live there and who would like to live there. I would also like to strengthen relations between the cities further so that we can all work together a lot better and rely on one another much better during a moment's crisis. Not only that, but I would like to implement systems from my world that have worked to reduce harm to citizens in a moment of crisis, improve health for everyone in the city, improve security, which has been aforementioned -- just to name a few.
In-World Accomplishments: I've been a Deputy Guardian under Fai D. Flourite's tenure as well as Grell Sutcliffe's tenure. Then, I was promoted to co-Guardian alongside Seth Rim and have held office since then. I've responded to threats in Genessia as a whole as well as in Everglade and I've also helped during that blizzard that we had this year. As previously mentioned, I've worked under two Guardians already in Everglade, so I have a fair amount of knowledge of how their systems worked, etc.
Hobbies: Training, meditating.
Other: Back home, I'm a decorated military officer with twenty years of experience handling different kinds of matters while also protecting the citizens of my world. I've participated in understanding alien lifeforms as a whole, protecting said alien lifeforms from a tyrannical dictator seeking to build his empire starting with them and seeking to extend to other galaxies.

City Running for: Genessia City
Potential Deputies: Karla, Aeslyn Blackrose, Lea, Enis Edrin. Should they all want to continue service to Genessia City. Though he is open to hiring one or two more.
Candidate Positions: Continuing to increase the quality of life for those in Genessia. Believes in having a good working relationship with the Guardians of each city for times where they are required to work together. Still dedicated to help opening and find out what is in the “Wind Gate” Archway on the back of the Bay, that has been there for several years now.
Wants to establish a 'Deputy Exchange'' program where Guardians can select a Deputy under their charge to work for them as well as with another Guardian and their Deputies. This would be done as a way to establish a stronger connection and working relationship between the Guardian Offices of the cities.
Wants to also divide Genessia City up into quadrants similar to what Weiss Schnee did for Nova City. However the quadrants for Genessia City will be divided up by which Archway is located in that section. The Deputy Exchange program would work for this too as the Deputies be able to partner with Genessia City deputies to patrol and help tend to things in the quadrant that their city's Archway lies in.
In-World Accomplishments:
-Founded a Training Facility in Nova City and Genessia City for people to train their abilities.
-Founded the K&H Home for Children for any young children that end up in Genessia to go to.
- Personally put together a team and fixed the Nova City Power Crisis.
-Willing sacrificed memories to help fix the Everglade Barrier during the Barrier crisis.
-Has run a Carnival in Nova City twice.
-First act as Guardian was to make it illegal to discriminate upon others in Genessia City be it for race, creed or religion.
-Saw to the creation of weaponry to help fend off an attack should another Barrier crisis arise.
-Has ran multiple Charity events throughout the years to not only fund the K&H Home, but other charities as well.
-Revamped and expanded the Genessia City police force.
-Established a proper jail to hold Prisoners for the police force.
-Established a Pokemon Healing station in each city for people with Pokemon to heal them.
-Established a Prison to hold high priority or superpowered prisoners that commit crimes. Said prison is entirely humane and offers many options for inmates to spend their time, be it in therapy sessions, reading or even learning trades.
- With the help over Yukiko Amagi and Olivia Moore, saw to having the Chimera Infection researched.
-Established an affordable housing development in Genessia City.
-Has two pendants needed to unlock the archway on the back of the Bay.
-Coordinated a defense against the monsters attacking during October.
-Expanded Law Enforcement to have many subdivisions around the city as well as Clinics for the hospitals to help increase response time in emergencies.
-Guardian for nearly 3 years
Hobbies: Work (that counts as a hobby, right?) Reading, watching movies, the odd video game here and there. Training his own abilities, spending times with friends, recently taking in Baseball games.
Other: While not a politician in his own world, he has helped to save the world, fought on a team to take out large threats and even to stop discrimination and oppression of an entire people in a single country. If he wins, this will indeed be his final term in office before he retires. He feels like he still has some unfinished business (such as working out the deputy exchange and dividing Genessia City into quadrants) that he'd like to get done before he calls it quits.

Potential Deputies: Current deputies can keep their positions if they want, will be lookin' for potential candidates after
Candidate Positions:
-Continuing to ensure racial equality regardless of origin- be it mechanical, organic, non-organic and everything in between
-Cooperation with other Guardians and city officials
-Plans to convert personal establishments to act as secondary emergency shelters as needed with the aid of outside Guardians (should they permit in their cities)
-Look into establishing a possible automatic emergency broadcast for the safety of civilians and responders (for Nova at the very least)
-Installation of more WayPoints for quicker response to emergencies
-Upgrading the personal non-weapon equipment of deputies to ensure even better response times; can possibly extend that to other cities afterward if the other Guardians so desire
-Find out (in detail) what purpose Nova City even does in this crazy world of ours???
In-World Accomplishments:
-Deputy in Nova as of the last election
-Helped defend during the last barrier breach last year in Genessia (which in turn kept spirits out of Nova)
-Has been directly involved somehow in nearly every bounty concerning the Red Claw and Obsidian for the safety of the city
-Honorary Guardian-for-a-Day as deemed by former Guardian Weiss
-Frequently donates to charity, including a monthly 3* donation to the GSRF
-Proud owner of the three best night clubs in Nova, Genessia and Everglade
-Formerly worked two years straight as tech support at Aster Tech- any former tech support understands the level of fortitude that requires
-Former bounty hunter of two years prior to becoming deputy, still partakes in occasional bounties
-Responsible for the rad as hell Halloween party last year, also keeps helping out in other big parties (need a hand for a future party? just ask)
-Won the 2017 award for Most Likely to Kick Your Ass in a Dark Alley, and won the 2018 awards for Sexiest Male and Best Joker
-Caught a big ass bird, and it's now my buddy
-Still looks amazing in high heels

Potential Deputies: Current Deputies, #18, Cloud Strife, Trunks
Candidate Positions:
-Take care of the racial issues with organic, non-organic, and half-organic beings. Metal Lives Matter.
-Reduce criminal activities.
-Make sure no one tries to level the city.
-Establish better communications with other Guardians and the city they watch.
In-World Accomplishments:
-Working on building/opening an animal sanctuary.
-Done bounty works.
-Escorts people through the Everglade.
-Haven't tossed anyone off a cliff, yet. [It's a big accomplishment!]
Hobbies:
-Cars: driving, building, working on them.
-Training, and with Pokemon.
-Pleasing and watching over sister.
She can be a handful.-Reading.
-Animal friendly.
-Probably other stuff.
Other: Been considering, and finally, 'why not'. I have law enforcement experiences as a Park Ranger and dealt with unlawful people on top of it. My job was to watch an island with an endanger specie. Also, I'm getting really tired of people arriving here blowing up buildings at a whim. I have a couple ideas how to handle this. Also, I never get tired, so I can work around the hours or more if must.

City Running for: Fayren.
Potential Deputies: Erza Scarlet, Qubine, Alice Margatroid and Konoka Konoe. She's open to hiring more, provided they're willing to work as a team with the other deputies.
Candidate Positions:
- Protect the citizens of Fayren.
- Help mages and non-mages understand each other and live together peacefully.
- Help mages develop their magic so they can defend themselves and help defend Fayren.
- Investigate the weird 'events' affecting Fayren and other cities, like the one that happened for Halloween and at the beginning of December, or for Easter with the eggs.
- Promote collaboration between guardians and between cities.
In-World Accomplishments:
- Was elected Fayren's Deputy Guardian in January. As such, she's running for reelection.
- Founded the mage guild of Fairy Tail and aims at having 'Fairy Haven' literally become a haven and a school for magic user who wants to better understand their powers.
- Successfully defended the citizens of Fayren against spirits on several occasions.
- Took part in the investigation on the 'Hands of Decay' and is now investigating the 'Fingers of Decay'.
- Helped to make Fayren safer by completing bounty hunts, both personally and indirectly as the leader of Fairy Tail.
- Took over the book store called Scribes and Scripts after Levy left Genessia and has been running it ever since.
Hobbies:
- Going on adventures!

City Running for: Genessia City
Potential Deputies: I'm not sure! I'd like a variety of teammates with different strengths and abilities.
Candidate Positions: I'd most like to petition the spirits to supply better funding and pay to people who do important jobs as volunteers. People like healers, secret crimefighting heroes, science and research, peacekeeping deputies...a lot of them don't get paid, so they have to have extra jobs. That's exhausting! And those kinds of duties are a lot more important in this city than retail work, especially when there are emergency situations. I'd also ask them to expand the payroll for the other cities to take on more deputies, since this place is a lot bigger than it was and needs more people to help out.
In-World Accomplishments: Fighting monsters, emergency response healing, volunteer for Heals on Wheels...oh! And helping Everglade when they were a little short-staffed.
Hobbies: Sewing, trying new food, karate, exploring, robots, baking desserts, meeting new people!
Other: I'll work very hard as a guardian, and do my best to encourage and welcome others who come to this place. Please depend on me!
