[Closed log] Non-human education
WHO: Lydia and Satou
WHAT: Satou wants more information on non-humans and the like of Everglade, Lydia offers some sort of education.
WHEN: Not long after Satou's post asking about it.
WHERE: Undead and Deceased Civil Rights Headquarters in Everglade
WARNINGS: None other than Lydia being a manipulative piece of trash. The norm.
It'd been a while since anyone had thought to actually ask her for any sort of advice, nor had she really done much with her lobbyist position as there... hadn't really been any need to do so lately. Not that it stopped her from wearing something trendy and completely unnecessary in the clothing department. But she was doing just as she said she would, standing near the doorway to the headquarters with her shiny pheromosa standing nearby looking bored as usual.
With any luck this would... go well and perhaps be advantageous to her later on, something about honey catching more flies than vinegar or some such.

But things were different now. Renewed by a hope that she could change Everglade and make its citizens happy, she had decided to take Lydia up on her offer. What better way to learn about those not like her than to talk to them? Certainly beat a horror movie education, anyway.
"Sorry for the wait~!" Satou landed from flight, assisted by pink wings on her heels and back. The magical wings vanished when her feet touched the ground, leaving a short girl in a black lolita dress. "Ah! Diva~! Nice to meet you both in person."

"Oh, it's fine, not as if there's anything to really do at the moment. What kind of magic was that, if you don't mind my asking?" She's motioning for her to follow her as she's heading inside, Diva just glancing at Satou with the normal unimpressed expression and moving past Lydia through the door. "And sorry about her, that's just how she is. A loyal companion, but a little standoffish to new people, took her quite a bit to get used to my brother being around."

Though bragging was great, Satou did hold off. Her gaze went back to Diva, who she regarded with a polite nod. "That's no problem. It's good that she takes her time making friends."
With another nod, she began following Lydia to the door. "Thank you very much for this. With so many people from so many worlds, it helps to know as much as possible. Please don't hold back with any information you find important, okay?"

Diva would come around eventually, or not, either way Lydia wasn't worried about it. Out of her three Pokemon, she was pretty sure Diva was the one who'd be the most useful if things went south, not that it was planned by any stretch of the imagination.
Without another word she's moving towards a conference room that seems to be relatively unused other than a few books and pictures on the table near one of the chairs. To which she's taking a seat near and lightly tapping her nails on the table. "That's certainly quite a task you're asking as I'm familiar with quite a large number of the population's species and races here. How about you start with one that you're particularly interested on knowing more about? Clearly I'm a non-human myself, but not to the caliber of some of the others in this city."

"Good idea, though... Why don't we start with the undead?" She motions around them, adding, "I do want to know more about what you're protesting here. Maybe there's some sort of change that can be made to Everglade, so that the undead get more rights... But to do that, I'll need to know as much as I can about the problem."

She's flipping through a book for a moment, seeming to pause on something before closing it again with a sigh. Slowly leaning back in her chair she's looking up towards the ceiling. "Other than spirits, perhaps the most sentient of the bunch tend to be liches as the kind from my world became that way on their own wills versus being brought back from the dead by someone else."
