 [Ai is quite calm about the whole "new arrival" ordeal. He's absorbing the information and cataloging it appropriately, making note to check up on some specific questions later. He looks down at the device in his palm, questioning whether or not he should use it. If it's a public broadcast, then there's a chance he might come across a fan... and Ai doesn't want his fans to worry about him when he's confused and unsettled.

So for the first few hours, Ai won't be touching the video device. He'll be going to the commons, unloading his pockets and bag, then making a list or what he does and does not have with him. When he's done, Ai can be found wandering Genessia City. Particularly, he's trying to buy his own groceries and then sitting down on a random bench for a while.]

Everything appears normal enough. I can understand the text and speech here without running any translations. [He also still has his beginner's pamphlet, which he reads blatantly while on the bench.] ... I'm going to miss my photo shoot.

For those of you who do not recognize me, that's fine. This isn't Japan. My name is Ai Mikaze, and I'm an idol in my... 'world.' I would like to resume work promptly. Who are the music specialists here? I am looking to buy a piano to start, but I will need access to a mixing bay in the future. I understand there to be a difference between those with and without pendents, and would prefer to support fellow pendent wearers with my purchases.

I would also like to hire a photographer for headshots and talk to a talent agency about representation. Don't bother offering if you're not good at what you do.

It isn't like he's the first life-like robot she's ever met after all. ]

Your secret is safe with me, but I'm not sure Garrus is going to be the best fit for you in that case, actually. He might try to upgrade you to have weapons, he's more of a combat specialist. Let me talk to Gale Reinhardt and I'll get back to you. I won't mention what it's for and just ask if he has any talents. He works for Aster Tech, I'm just not sure what his exact talents are in that respect but he certainly respects the arts more. He actually runs clubs around the city called After Life, Holy Diver, and Hangar Queen so it might be good for you to get to know him regardless.

[He may be nice-ish in volunteering, but he still had a reputation to build and protect. If there’s a chance of performing alongside others, Ai needs to protect himself. He expects the same for others.]

A member of my kouhai’s group is here. As I am still signed with Shining Agency, regardless of my location, I will recommend him formally when the time comes. [Strongly implying he wouldn’t help Ren if not for their shared agency...??]

I hope that your performance contracts do not include obnoxious co-workers. I will be reading the fine print.

[ She's joking, somewhat. It isn't like that's quantifiable beyond an opinion but like if he doesn't want to work with someone and is just saying it because he has to say it she understands. God knows she understands, even if she is super sick of playing politics and business. ]

And it’s true. Ai might be annoyed by the other members of Quartet Night, but what they create together would be impossible alone.]

Speaking of: I should get going. I don’t know how long it takes for this talent agency to verify and accept applications.
