JUNE CATCH-ALL (OTA)
FAMA LOBBY
While she doesn’t visit the office very often, she’s always ready to take advantage of the large airy lobby on days when she is around to meet up with her agent. This morning in particular, she’s poised, leaning forward on her elbows against end of a long white counter, ceramic latte tumbler in hand and script bright on the screen of her tablet as she swipes through the pages.
Each time the door opens, there’s a fair chance she’ll take a glance over her shoulder. Should it not be her agent, she simply gives a welcoming smile and turns back to her business, if they choose to go about their day. Should they choose to approach, however, they’ll have her full attention. After all, she’d really like to meet more of the talent represented around here…
FAYREN BEACH
Feet bare up and lightweight cardigan billowing gently about her, Dove makes her way slowly up the beach as the sun sets, eyes focused on the waves as they roll toward the shore. Her week has been busy in all the best ways, but she can’t deny the draw of a peaceful oceanside evening and a chance to clear her mind. It’s been raining, she’s been told, but the break in the weather seems perfectly timed, and the breeze tossing her hair reminds her that maybe it’s alright to slow down… even if it means being alone a little while to do so.
She really should do this more often, even if she does look a little too solemn from far off. That Light in her eyes is different, somehow, as she studies the ocean and the pull of the tide against the line of the sky in the distance. She doesn’t dare step any further into the waves- not while she’s alone, at least, and certainly not in such a state of mind…
HANGAR QUEEN
…She’s got to remember they like to play that song here.
Dove can be found sitting contently at the bar, bobbing her head and absently humming ‘Danger Zone’ as she lazily scans the crowd and stirs what’s left of her drink. She seems to be fairly mellow, but it might look like there’s a hint of mischief in her eye if one looks close enough.
AROUND TOWN
Dove never does get tired of seeing the final release of her work out in the wild. While she’s modeled for years now, she’s always curious to see what’s been done with her images or, in this case, footage.
Depending on the city, she might be found watching… well herself in the form of advertisements for various campaigns. While her Nova City appearances are sexy and playful (if, in her own mind, a bit odd), those seen in Attleton and Genessia are much warmer and relaxed.
Regardless of the promotion, she’s likely to be caught shaking her head or nodding in approval, should anyone catch her critiquing the editors choices… and her own performance and looks.

[It's from a period when he wasn't exactly around.]

Impossible greatness beyond measurement. I'm sure you've felt something similar at least. Feeling the way you did about your wife... even just from a secondhand read I know you've experienced it. [Different, of course, but similar to the tug the ocean's Light currently has on her.] It's a little compelling, in a way.

Is she toying with things she shouldn't? ... maybe.
[Her voice seems odd, too, though it's still very much hers. Probably not something he'll notice, though, given the intricate pattern of glowing tattoos that are now spreading up her fingers and hand. The same flow ripples over the waves from where she stands until the waters nearby go still at her feet.
There's a shimmer of what seems to be the same light that runs up her back and for a moment, the air wavers- then falls flat as she takes a step back away from the surf and loses her command of the waves. They crash back to the shore as if nothing has happened, and she scowls.]

Soon, he finds himself breaking the silence.]
What are you doing?

It takes her a second or two longer than it should, but she finally settles on a response.] Being turned down yet again, [she laughs, turning a scrunched up nose at the waves then up at the sky as she searches.] Can't blame him though. I'm no match for her.
[Though the sun hasn't fully hidden itself below the horizon, the moon is already visible.... probably lucky for both Styxx and herself that it is. That glow still hasn't quite faded from her arms just yet, even if she hasn't noticed it.]

[Her answers weren't entirely making sense. Not to him anyway. Almost like he was missing pieces here or something.]

[Her cheeks go pink as she realizes.] The moon and the sea. He, the sea, is distracted because she's finally here. [She nods her head toward where the moon is rising.] I doubt I could make it do anything for me no, even if I pulled out all the stops. [Its a fairytale, maybe, and she doesn't mean it as literally as she sounds, but... just to check:]
Are they gods in your world, or is it just... lol... Poseidon? And... whoever the moon one is. [.... wow, she's not embarrassed now. Nope. Not at all.]

No, they're not. Poseidon was known to have many lovers, while Selene's lover was said to be Endymion who was a mortal man.

Looks like the conversation is doing her some good, though. Dove's much more herself, the more curious she becomes. The glow is almost entirely gone from her arms now, and her eyes have softened back to their normal honey gold.
There's a small smudge of hesitation though.] .... on a scale of one to ten? How comfortable are you talking about them? Because... it's kind of really fascinating.... [Aaaand that sheepish pink is gracing her cheeks again-]

Did you know a lot of them personally? [She glances back at something that brushes up against her foot, and stoops just long enough to pick it up and gently toss it back into the waves. It's only then that she actually notices the faded patterns over her fingers. She says nothing of it, but frowns and rubs her wrist all the same.]
