[Private Action - The Bay]
[This was a mystery wrapped in an enigma all tied together in one neat little package with a horrible nightmare. He'd frantically clawed at the pod until it opened, half convinced that being trapped in there would suffocate him somehow. Once he effectively knew that he was, in fact, not dying, he could calmly figure out his predicament. Was this the doing of the Cardinals? Had he done something to earn their ire without his knowing?
--Was his mother alright?
He needed answers- he needed them now. That little box had some kind of clue (and whatever the rest of those other trinkets were), not that it told him anything. "Genessia?" Was this some kind of fucked up experiment? Could the Cardinals even pull off this whole charade? He patted his own coat pockets, and had everything he had expected- his phone from home, his spectacles, hell even his rapier was stilled strapped to his side and his gun underneath his coat.
He eyed the water around him and sighed in frustration. Shoving the box into one of his empty pockets, he lifted up his coat and began treading through the water. Thank the Gods that his boots were thigh-high. Once he'd emerged from the Bay, he'd dropped his coat tails back down and once the hologram started up, his left hand was gripping tightly around the hilt of his rapier.
But he stilled his hand, listening to what it had to say. This... this wasn't a joke, was it? This wasn't a dream? This wasn't even a trick conjured by the Cardinals as some sick punishment for some transgression he didn't know anything of?
... was he truly safe here?]

... ah. There it goes. I was beginning to wonder if this thing even worked.
[It at least functioned very similarly to what he was used to. Still, the tech seemed close enough to his home that he was on edge. His face was calm, but his posture was tense, and white furred cat ears upon his head kept twisting and twitching. His eyes kept darting around to get a read on the area around him, and the feed appeared to tremble slightly as if being held by a shaking hand. Despite appearing to have the uniform of a military, this was a man that had something to fear. Regardless, he kept up his front, his expression and tone of voice appearing calm.]
I imagine there are many questions of this kind from the... "new arrivals" or whatever you want to call them, so forgive me. If I were to mention a place known as "Eichhorn" or a group known as the "Cardinals" would any of you know what I was referring to?
[Deep down, he's hoping the answer is "no."]
... and is this place truly as the Lady Schnee said? This place is separate of that where we come from?
[Let him have this-- let him have his escape from the Dulvik just this one time.]

[Action - Genessia City Garden Park]
Get away from me, you filthy creature!
[There's the voice of a shrieking man nearby, and if one were to trace it, it would lead up to a large tree in the park with the feline man huddled up on the highest branch he could get to. At the base of the tree was a rather large dog barking up at him with excitement. To anyone else, the dog would seem friendly, but to Kazimir? He hated dogs. They were the one thing that could made him lose his composure, and the fact that this thing was let loose to run around and do as it pleases was absolutely infuriating!
Even worse, his predicament was almost comical. What the hell was this, some joke from a damned cartoon?! Yes, ha ha, he was a cat, but that had nothing to do with why he hated that thing-!
Still, despite how much he hated them, he didn't have either his gun nor his rapier drawn and pointed at the dog. He had no desire to harm it (some people liked the company of them... hell if he knew why), but if it would just go away!
Eventually he would turn to start yelling expletives at it in what sounded like Russian. Maybe it would listen to commands in the Eichhorian language?! Or not. All he's doing is swearing so much that he'd make a sailor blush.
All he wanted to do was find some place to eat, goddamnit!]
