[Private Action - The Bay]
[This was a mystery wrapped in an enigma all tied together in one neat little package with a horrible nightmare. He'd frantically clawed at the pod until it opened, half convinced that being trapped in there would suffocate him somehow. Once he effectively knew that he was, in fact, not dying, he could calmly figure out his predicament. Was this the doing of the Cardinals? Had he done something to earn their ire without his knowing?
--Was his mother alright?
He needed answers- he needed them now. That little box had some kind of clue (and whatever the rest of those other trinkets were), not that it told him anything. "Genessia?" Was this some kind of fucked up experiment? Could the Cardinals even pull off this whole charade? He patted his own coat pockets, and had everything he had expected- his phone from home, his spectacles, hell even his rapier was stilled strapped to his side and his gun underneath his coat.
He eyed the water around him and sighed in frustration. Shoving the box into one of his empty pockets, he lifted up his coat and began treading through the water. Thank the Gods that his boots were thigh-high. Once he'd emerged from the Bay, he'd dropped his coat tails back down and once the hologram started up, his left hand was gripping tightly around the hilt of his rapier.
But he stilled his hand, listening to what it had to say. This... this wasn't a joke, was it? This wasn't a dream? This wasn't even a trick conjured by the Cardinals as some sick punishment for some transgression he didn't know anything of?
... was he truly safe here?]

... ah. There it goes. I was beginning to wonder if this thing even worked.
[It at least functioned very similarly to what he was used to. Still, the tech seemed close enough to his home that he was on edge. His face was calm, but his posture was tense, and white furred cat ears upon his head kept twisting and twitching. His eyes kept darting around to get a read on the area around him, and the feed appeared to tremble slightly as if being held by a shaking hand. Despite appearing to have the uniform of a military, this was a man that had something to fear. Regardless, he kept up his front, his expression and tone of voice appearing calm.]
I imagine there are many questions of this kind from the... "new arrivals" or whatever you want to call them, so forgive me. If I were to mention a place known as "Eichhorn" or a group known as the "Cardinals" would any of you know what I was referring to?
[Deep down, he's hoping the answer is "no."]
... and is this place truly as the Lady Schnee said? This place is separate of that where we come from?
[Let him have this-- let him have his escape from the Dulvik just this one time.]

[Action - Genessia City Garden Park]
Get away from me, you filthy creature!
[There's the voice of a shrieking man nearby, and if one were to trace it, it would lead up to a large tree in the park with the feline man huddled up on the highest branch he could get to. At the base of the tree was a rather large dog barking up at him with excitement. To anyone else, the dog would seem friendly, but to Kazimir? He hated dogs. They were the one thing that could made him lose his composure, and the fact that this thing was let loose to run around and do as it pleases was absolutely infuriating!
Even worse, his predicament was almost comical. What the hell was this, some joke from a damned cartoon?! Yes, ha ha, he was a cat, but that had nothing to do with why he hated that thing-!
Still, despite how much he hated them, he didn't have either his gun nor his rapier drawn and pointed at the dog. He had no desire to harm it (some people liked the company of them... hell if he knew why), but if it would just go away!
Eventually he would turn to start yelling expletives at it in what sounded like Russian. Maybe it would listen to commands in the Eichhorian language?! Or not. All he's doing is swearing so much that he'd make a sailor blush.
All he wanted to do was find some place to eat, goddamnit!]

Action
He follows the shrieking to a dog barking up a tree. Then he notices the cat-like man. A part of him is wondering if this is all some sort of strange dream.]
I'll distract this dog
[ He says this in Russian. He calls the dog over to him in a commanding tone.]
Come here.
no subject
But at the new command, the dog seems to get interested in the newcomer, bounding over to Tsukishima with excitement. It kept looking back up at Kazimir, but it obediently sat down. Kazimir narrowed his eyes, his ears folding against his head, having no intention of getting down from his location when the dog was still nearby.]
Now what? That thing will just come right after me again if I get down!
no subject
[ He focuses on the dog, and pets it once it let's him. He looks for any sign of a collar and/or leash.]
I won't let it.
[ He gives a firm "no" whenever the dog tries to look at the cat man. He starts to lead the dog further away, while scanning the area for anyone familiar with the animal.]
no subject
But as fate would have it, there was a nearby park goer who saw the dog and came over, the lady smiling to the man and the dog.]
"Ohh, so here's where he ran off to! I'm sorry, sir. I hope he wasn't being a bother to you."
[She didn't seem to notice Kazimir ducking behind the tree and glaring daggers at the excited canine. It was probably for the best so he wouldn't start shrieking at her next. Instead he would just quietly mutter to himself.]
Keep a better eye on your flea-ridden terrors, woman!
no subject
"He's good with commands and friendly, but his excitement is a bit much for those who aren't used to dogs.
Also, a wild animal or uh... otherworldly newcomer might pose a threat to him."
[ This dog didn't seem like the type used to hunting bears in the wilderness. The owner might be better encouraged to keep watch for the dog's safety.]
"The good boy needs to be safe."
[ He says this in a tone that dogs tyliy respond to.]
no subject
"His excitement gets the better of him, he loves chasing cats and squirrels... but I'll look into getting him some obedience classes so he doesn't go chasing anything that might hurt him. I'm so glad he ran into someone like you, thank you!"
[She hooked her dog up to its leash and led him away, giving Tsukishima a wave before she went on her way. Kazimir, meanwhile, was peering around the tree until the two were out of sight before slowly stepping out into the open again. His ears were pressed tightly against his head, his tail fur fluffed out and frazzled.]
Is... is it gone?
[Oh, how undignified he must seem right now. What a way to spend his first day.]
no subject
[ Tsukishima looks back, confirming that the dog is out sight. He looks around for others that could potentially chase the cat man.]
He's gone.
[ Tsukishima's first day was also embarrassing]
Action
[An equally loud but somewhat less piercing laugh carries down from one of the higher branches of the same tree. When Kazimir looks up, he'll see the Cheshire Cat is comfortably curled up watching the drama unfold below.]
You could always try to get yourself away.
[If anyone thought he'd be more helpful in the face of a fellow feline in distress...think again.]
no subject
I would get myself away if that thing wouldn't chase after me! [With the dog's continued barking, he hissed again.] And I will have you know that this is not at all humorous!
[Kazimir likes to think that he has some kind of sense of humor, but this certainly didn't count as funny to him.]
no subject
I'm enjoying it very much indeed! And the dog is clearly having fun too.
[That's two against one. Which unfortunately makes the situation humourous by averages.]
But if you really want to get away...you should try moving upwards.
no subject
[Normally he wouldn't be this outwardly rude, but that beast is down there which means all bets on Kazimir being pleasant are off.]
Moving further upwards would not aid me in the slightest! Do you have nothing better to do than to mock me?!
no subject
[The dog seems to agree if the increased volume of barking and enthusiastic tail wagging is anything to go by.]
And by the by...you're in my tree.

So neither match up to what I recall. That's a relief.
[... but it has only just now dawned on him that Eichhorn's name is very reminiscent of the word Caerleon's language has for "squirrel." That is kind of amusing to think about.]
The Cardinals I speak of are... supposed "gods," though perhaps "fallen deities" is a more appropriate description. But if that usage is unfamiliar to the denizens here, then perhaps this place is untouched by their influence.
I'm almost hesitant to accept this reality as anything but a dream yet.
[Action]
[
Sailor VenusMinako Aino to the rescue! She hurries forward with a bag of groceries cradled in one arm, frowning severely. Where is this dog's owner? Some people, tsk!]Go on, shoo! Beg your owner to get a leash, or it's off to Puppy Prison with you!
[She puts a hand on her hip with a sigh as the dog slinks off, thoroughly chastised by the teenage blonde.]
Some people really need to keep a better eye on their pets. Are you all right up there?
no subject
... not that whatever the girl said would linger in his mind, as his attention was fixed on the dog leaving the area after being thoroughly scolded. His eyes narrowed and his ears folded back suspiciously at it but once he confirmed the dog was effectively sent away thanks to that young lady, he would climb back down from his place in the tree.
Once he was on the ground, he coughed awkwardly, straightening his coat and trying to take on a more dignified posture... even though he was thoroughly humiliated.]
That was... more of an ordeal than I would have cared for. Thank you for your help. I apologize for that. I don't really... get along well with dogs.
[That's one way of putting it, certainly.]
no subject
[She chuckles, a little charmed at the huge contrast between his frightened fury and humble contriteness.]
You must be new, I don't think I've seen you around before. I'm Minako, nice to meet you!
no subject
[If anything, he was to apologize to his ego for letting himself get so humiliated straight from the get-go. End up in a new place, only to immediately get chased up a tree? Honestly...]
Ah, yes. I woke up here just a short time ago, as a matter of fact. [He pauses.] I am Kazimir. It's a pleasure to meet you, Minako.
[He has to remember to not bother to introduce himself as 'General' in this place. His past position clearly has so meaning right now.]
no subject
[She looks up at the tree branch. It's really high up! Either he was super agile, or just super motivated. Pretty impressive. She takes a half step and beckons him to follow.]
Come on. I'll treat you to a soda, it'll calm you down. You've probably still got some questions, right?
no subject
I'm sure I have more questions than can be answered, but it would be appreciated. Although I wouldn't wish to keep you from your duties. [He nods towards her shopping bag.] Unless you're certain it wouldn't be of any trouble to you. You've already done me a great favor as it is.
[Saving him from an evil dog is a big deal okay]
And yeah, this place is pretty much completely separate from all our home worlds, for better or worse.
no subject
["Monsters" would be more appropriate, but he's not willing to take the chance to say that aloud yet. Still, he appears somewhat relieved.]
Perhaps in my case, it may be for the better. I didn't think that could be said over a sudden interdimensional kidnapping.
no subject
[Like, say, Xehanort.]
Well, I yeah there's seldom really a good time to get kidnapped, but if you have to be kidnapped, being kidnapped away from a bad situation is the way to go.
no subject
[Not a man of high hopes, this one.]
I don't suppose you could give any insight on what can be expected here? Unless you have other matters to tend to, in which case don't let me keep you.
no subject
As for what's expected, aside from finding a job and a place to live after your one month in the apartments you start in is done, you can pretty much do what you like. Though personally I'd appreciate it if you didn't do anything super violent or destructive, cause being as I'm a Deputy Guardian for Genessia City, that would mean I'd have to have a problem with you, and I don't want to.
video;
[She paused, he looked... Interesting to say the least, if at least tense.]
It's all okay. It might be a sudden change, but it's not too bad.
no subject
[Words couldn't possibly describe the relief he was feeling. He posture relaxed, and he eventually let out a quiet sigh of relief.]
I must admit I am not a fan of such a sudden change, but in this case, I might be willing to make an exception. Perhaps that hologram is accurate in saying this place is safer than some others.
no subject
[She paused for a moment before giving a small nod.]
It... has been safer at times, but there are also moments where it could be dangerous. Like shortly after a got here like a month later things got that way. [People losing emotions, people being turned into ice statues. She considered that dangerous.]
no subject
[Such a world would be far too perfect. And perfection doesn't exist.]
These dangerous circumstances, would you say they can be attributed to the world itself, or to the people it brings here? I doubt it brings only those with good hearts and intentions.
[It brought him, after all.]
no subject
[Not until much later and even then she was more waiting while others were doing things.]
I think with the one I mentioned it was more something from this world. But I agree that not everyone will be exactly the nicest people in the world. I just haven't come across them yet or seen anyone do anything huge.
