☄ [First Strike → Video]
[How many full-fledged knights come for a stay? Lightning is armored, armed and looking every inch a servant of her goddess, Etro. This woman doesn't do weak and she is pausing only to address any who might be watching. Then, when her message is concluded, she will continue on her way. Time doesn't fix itself, you know, and she has a little sister to guide...to find...
Her job is never done - or so it feels.]
Was this your desire, great Etro? [Her exhaled breath lifts her pink fringe.] I am Lightning Farron, a servant of the Goddess Etro. If it was by her will that I was brought to this location, so be it, but I sense that someone has interfered. I must return to Valhalla.
[She glances at her audience sharply.]
The unseen will reveal itself in time.

...But dragons also fight on behalf of the deities. So even if the Beastclans challenged them, the conflict would still be largely against dragonkind...
[There seems to be no way out. If only they could just sit down and talk things over, but the Beastclans just want to kill, kill, kill...]
[Action]
[There is not a cruel bone in the dragon's body that she can see.]
I can see where you stand now.
[Action]
I have to find the Fae of Light. That was the mission that the Lightweaver gave me. She said the Fae of Light is supposed to lead dragonkind into an age of prosperity.
And then I ran into Erebus. He said he's been watching me for some time. I don't know what he wants with me. I just know that I have to stop him...somehow...
[Her expression grows worried again. Perhaps she feels pressured to stop him because she knows he's after her.]
[Action]
I will help you practice.
[Action]
Possibly...?
[He's already struck once and destroyed their lair. Liora doesn't wan to see the whole world get destroyed like that. She also recalls Erebus's words. Something about her "potential"...but what did he mean by that...?]
[But practice...that was one thing she needed.]
The holodeck...we're almost there.
[Action]
[Liora's light is obvious to her and surely it is precious in any world.]
I suggest we take turns. [She glances at the Fae dragon, arching a brow.] Does that suit you?
[Action]
[That thought only scares her even more. Does that mean that Erebus is getting stronger as well, while she's scrambling all over Sornieth, trying to strengthen herself as well as find the Fae of Light? On top o the fact that Erebus already has a head start in both strength and magic. And then there was the message he implied in their first meeting.]
But...the way Erebus talked...it seems as if he knows something about me that I don't...
[Lightning's suggestion isn't very assuring either.]
Take turns? I don't know... I'm a caster...so I don't really do well in battle alone...
[Action]
Cast at me. [Lightning trusts her powers and her armor to protect her.] I want you use your full force.
[Action]
[Liora turns to face Lightning with an incredulous look on her face.]
Are...are you sure...?
[Yet another wave of questions wash over her mind. What exactly is her full force? Is it the amount of force she's able to control, or all this "potential" that her enemies speak of that Liora hasn't realized yet? And what if Lightning gets hurt? After that question crosses her mind, Liora remembers that she can heal if necessary.]
[So she backs away from Lightning to gain space between them before gathering her magic. She holds out her talons in front of her, producing a bright ball of Light magic that grows to about the size of Liora herself before pushing it out towards the woman...]
[Action]
The ball of Light hits her with some force, knocking her backwards. However she is able to catch herself and spring gracefully back onto her feet. She gives her head a faint shake and glances at Liora.]
How many of those can you produce?
[Action]
...As many as I need to...provided I can focus my magic in between. I think I can do...six at the most in between? But that also depends on whether I need to cast a healing spell. That spell consumes more magical energy.
[Action]
[Action]
[It's true that she could. She just needs to make sure to keep her energy up. If she passes out from using too much magic, her escape would be for naught...]
[Action]
[Action]
[How does she know herself better than she thinks? And how does Lightning know? Liora stops herself, not wanting to hold herself back.]
I just...have to learn to control my power better...
[Action]
[That isn't fair, she knows, but it's life. You either pull yourself up or you're buried by fate.]
[Action]
At least...I have Cane and Snowy back home. They believed in me even when I'd given up on myself... I don't know where I'd be without them...
