[In all of the excitement and chaos, Ryu really didn't have a chance to slow down. More importantly it was clear something was weighing heavily upon him. The fact people saw him, even if he was trying to help them... He doesn't want to risk something like back home happening here. So Ryu has temporarily retreated back to Fayren with most of the danger over while trying to figure out his next move. For all he knew, he was worried about nothing. But he certainly wasn't sure if Nonon could be trusted, and she most likely would have revealed the secret to Satsuki.

There was also Lucy to worry about. He knows she'll be asking sooner or later, but... With her friend Natsu, perhaps she'll be more understanding than most about who and what he actually is. Either way, he wants to know his friends are okay. Especially Vyers, after the condition he was in. There was still their little conversation to be held. It's here Ryu might be found a distance away from his camp, near Fairy Tail in hopes of finding Lucy.]

[PRIVATE TO LUCY HEARTFILIA]
Lucy? It's Ryu. I need to talk to you, preferably somewhere private and in person. The sooner the better.

[PRIVATE TO VYERS]
How's your body holding up? Can you do anything about regrowing your wings?

I hope you're all recovering well in light of recent events. Please don't hesitate to call if you need any sort of medical attention. I may not be a doctor, but my magic can help you recover quickly.

[The poor boy honestly seems kind of stiff in his message. It's a little clear something is bothering him, but he'll likely chalk it up to the fact that Lucifer was still out there and free to do this all over again. Sure he's scared of being outed for what he is, but the fact that there's been nary a sound out of Lucifer worries him even more.]

And to the girl I met during the fire who could fly, I think you and I have a few things to discuss. On neutral ground, if you don't mind.

[It's not like he can make this private, since Nonon never made her identity clear.]

Sorry. I think that came off as a bit more confrontational than I meant. I simply don't want to be involved in any sort of politics. But both you and members of Fairy Tail wanted to save innocent lives when it really mattered. That's the most important thing to me, to defend those who can't defend themselves. And when the time comes, Lucifer and anyone else who would threaten the safety of the city will be met with justice.

[Ryu feels he has a certain responsibility to remain as neutral a party as possible.]

I don't want to cause anyone any trouble, but when you have the kind of power someone viewed as a big enough threat to destroy the world... It can't be used lightly, y'know? I'm not saying either of you would, but you might understand my reasoning a little better if you learned why I'm the only one of the Brood with any power left.

[For some reason, the fact neither of them knew each the others' name struck him as quite funny. He can't help but laugh about it.]

Here we are, being all serious and I never learned your name either! I'm sorry, that must seem impolite. It's Ryu.

[For that, she earns a small smile.]

Well... Maybe a day will come you can call me that whenever you want. It'd be nice not to hide anymore, but I'm not sure that day has come yet.

[When it comes to Nonon, she doesn't think of her association with Satsuki as some manner of politics, it just feels natural to her. People who actually disagree with that have minds that feel so foreign to her that it is difficult to comprehend them. At the very least Ryu didn't seem to have any problem with Satsuki, so he is spared a great deal of complaining that may have otherwise come his way.]

Satsuki-sama wants to make the world a better place. Letting people do whatever they want without paying for it isn't our style. People are supposed to be judged by their merits, and he doesn't seem to have any.

[And then the dragon started laughing. Nonon doesn't join in, instead looking mildly annoyed. Did she say something funny? That look fades when the reason for it becomes more obvious.]

It isn't really that funny.

[Are the corners of her mouth twitching slightly, as if doing their best to actually make her look something other then annoyed for once? It must be a trick of the light, clearly.]

I don't care about polite or not. I suppose it will be easier to contact me if you know who to ask for. Its Nonon.

It's a noble goal, but it's how she wants to do it and what she feels should change that might bring you guys into conflict with others. But I figure you probably already know this.

[Clearly, he's just seeing things.]

When you've seen the lowest the world has to offer, you have to enjoy what laughs you can get, y'know?

[To that, he closes the distance between the two and offers a handshake. If nothing else, it's a sign he trusts her to do as she says.]

And if the time comes where we have to fight, then we'll just crush our enemies. You didn't see what we are like in a battle during all that. Our goal was rescue, and that is what we did. We set a goal, and then accomplished it. Its no different when it comes to cleaning up rubble in Satsuki-sama's path.

[Of course in this case rubble means 'anything dumb enough to be in the way'. The handshake is not refused, she was sort of here as a diplomat after all, and is surprisingly firm. She was a tiny, tiny little thing, but she was not a weakling.]

I don't think you're dangerous. If you still want to meet Satsuki-sama in person, I imagine she would be interested.

If that day comes, then let it be against the same opponent.

[He nods, withdrawing his hand.]

If she has the time, then I'd like to meet her. She must be something special if you're so devoted to her.

[At least Ryu can see that much. Perhaps once he meets Satsuki first hand, he'll be more open to being less neutral. Nonon had never been as good with her words, there was a reason that she was not the leader.]

Of course. There is no one else out there even half as worthy of it. I'm sure you'll see, you don't seem stupid or anything. Anything else before I head back? I'm sure she'll want to hear what you had to say to me.

Not that I can think of. Aside from training Chihiro, it's not like I'm doing anything important. She can meet with me at her convenience.
