NEWSPAPER - BIWEEKLY EDITION
[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]
[And if you're one of the following people, and you happen to subscribe to the newspaper, the Paperboy may or may not have flung the newspaper through that person's window, at the person, and/or broke something in the area: Katsuki Bakugo, Shota Aizawa, Ichigo Kurosaki, Martha Jones, Cassian Lynch, Jaune Arc, Lotor, Weiss Schnee.

Heatwave Incoming
Brace yourself Genessians as Genessia is due for its yearly heat wave. Temperatures all around Genessia are expected to get pretty high. Below are general tips to deal with the heat for those that aren’t used to it.
-Stay out of the sun when possible. 11am and 3pm are the hottest parts of the day, so be wary!
-Take a cool bath or shower or just splash yourself with cool water.
-Drink cold drinks, but avoid tea, coffee and alcohol.
-Walk in the shade, wear a hat and or apply sunscreen if you have to go out into the heat.
-Avoid extreme physical exertion when out in the heat.
These are just a few simple tips to help, but if you have your own or think there is something that should be listened but isn’t, please share them with your friends. Stay safe, Genessians!
Shop Thefts
Herbal shops in Everglade have been the victims of a string of thefts. Some owners have come to work only to find things missing. From money in the safe, to herbs and other ingredients to objects that they have lying around the store. The things stolen from every shop seems to differ.
The thefts seem connected, but with the things stolen from each shop being different one can’t say for sure. The owners of the shops are doing a full inventory inspection to see if there is anything that might have gone missing under their noses. Be on the look out for any further information as this situation progresses.
The Puzzle Corner is a new section in the paper that gives its readers a chance to win prizes. There will be puzzles, brainteasers or the like listed below. Answering one will net you a prize. Only one puzzle can be solved per reader. (Just comment to the paper with your answer.)
1.) Daft Dave was washing windows on a multi-storey office building when he slipped and fell off his fifty foot ladder, directly onto the concrete pavement below.
Amazingly, he didn't hurt himself at all. How can this be possible?

2.) If you have a helium filled balloon in a closed car, and you go around corner.
Will the balloon swing into or out of the corner?
Prize: Tickets to the Nova City Aquarium.
3.) The International Women's Speed Skating championship was recently completed, however, the computer storing the results suffered from a power cut.
Using the following information, can you determine who finished where, their ages (18, 21, 24 and 28) and the colour they wore?
The youngest, who didn't wear blue, won the championship.
Jessica was three years younger than the person who wore red.
Katy performed well to finish in second place.
Lauren wore green and Mary was the oldest competitor.
The person who wore yellow was younger than Katy, whereas the person who came last was 21.
Prize: Free roller blades.
4.) A farmer wants to transport a fox, a chicken and some corn across a river.
They have a rowboat, but it can only carry the person and one other item.
If the fox and the chicken are alone together, the fox will eat the chicken.
If the chicken and the corn are alone together, the chicken will eat the corn.
How does the farmer do it?
Prize: A live chicken.
5.) A few weeks ago I went to visit my grandma, who lives 120 miles away, and it took me exactly 3 hours.
Last Saturday morning I made the exact same journey.
The distance was exactly the same, the traffic was the same, there were no extra delays, I travelled at the same speed.
Everything was the same, but it took be 180 minutes instead. Why?

Ted "if they cast spells, send them to Hell" Satchel, widely recognized as the most brutally efficient bounty hunter in Genessia, was seen last Wednesday carrying out his target of the Fayren forest accompanied by the agonized screams of burning wood nymphs.
"My quarry used nature magic to move from tree to tree", he explained to the astonished knights. "That makes them accessories to the crime. I would've put them out, but I'd already 'watered the grass'."
Eager for an interview with someone so skilled and surprisingly handsome, I jostled my way through the crowd.
"Sir Satchel," I said with my heart aflutter, "How is it you so often manage to get your man alive when it's plain to see you've murder in your eyes?"
"Don't be silly," he said with amused mastery. "Murder is premeditated. Anyway, a dead bounty doesn't pay, and I could use the bills for that magebane sword I've coveted so long."
"Oh? You expect more magical foes?"
"Let's just say the acolytes of the Ivory Tower have a surprise in store."
With my life in my hands, I timidly suggested that he sounded not unlike The Hands of Decay, whose treatment of the magically inclined was, in some circles, roundly condemned as "impolite."
"The HoD have two problems. One is poor branding. The other is that, while they have the right idea, they don't go far enough."
I reminded him, as my life flashed before my eyes, that he had also used a preteen mage for his latest caper.
"Oh, her. Or him; I always forget. Well, scum though sorcerers are, they have their uses. They're like grenades, a device you backwards Fayren bumpkins wouldn't know about. They're all destructive beyond desert; the only thing to do is make distance and ensure they take out their fellows when they inevitably go off."
I swallowed a lump in my throat the size of a grapefruit. "But, your ah, helper still lives and breathes, does he (or she) not?"
He leaned forward, with a smile that burned more fiercely than hatred. "There's always next time."
