[Video] Get in we're going drinking

[Dray looks like he's having the time of his life, sunbathing oh a beach chair in his garden and sipping a caipirinha, his glass house visible behind him. He's only wearing a colorful hat with holes for his ears and a pair of sunglasses, happily ignorant of the fact that, nowadays, staying under the burning sun for more than 10 minutes can fry your brain.]

What a lovely day in this sunny morning at Fayren, hm? It had come to my attention that not everyone's enjoying the heat.

[It's so weird to him...Then again, Dray's body regulates the temperature in a different way than most humans and other organics.]

I'd like to invite all those who need a break to come over and enjoy a swim in the river. [Moving the camera for a few seconds, Dray shows the river where a very happy looking Magikarp is splashing around.]

Just don't be mean to Tidal Rage Ryuujin Leviathan Bonecrusher. [Yes, that's the Magikarp's name.] Drinks are on me.

I'm slathering myself in sunscreen and bringing the manliest parasol I can find.

[ He's got a lot of alcohol in the house, since he lies the taste but most of it doesn't affect him. ]

Ain't you a charmer. A drink sounds great. If you've got beer or whiskey, that'd be fantastic.

Dray lowers the sunglasses to give Graverobber a wink.

I've got both but maybe beer is more fitting for this kind of weather. Whiskey seems suited for more intimate occasions or at least the night.

[He grins and returns the wink.]

Beer it is then. You're probably right, plus whiskey is for cold weather.

[ Niceeee. ]

Not enjoying it is putting it mildly.

[Fai is never going to be a fan, but he is trying his hardest to once again deal with it in his own way. Currently, at least he has a parasol which he was currently twirling in his fingers.]

Even after being here for four years I still haven't fully adapted to such weather.

Ah, you poor thing. [ Dray sounds a little more serious than before. Heat strokes are no joke. ] Nice parasol.

Do you think you could make it to my house? Even if you don't want to stay under the sun I have umbrellas and the inside of the house is cold.

The downside to living pretty much all of my life in worlds that were cold.

[he paused.]

Probably, but then I would want to leave to go home.

Oh, I know how that is. The Fortress I was locked in for the last ten years was in the Moon Mountains, it snows all year long.

Fair enough. Let me know if you change your mind then.

[He had kept quiet. He was still walking, but yet he wasn't talking at all. Even when trapped like he was it snowed in the tower. He was always aware of it always knowing... It didn't help him in know how long he had ever been trapped there. Just reliving that memory for a moment before he finally speaks.]

I guess it means we should appreciate the warm weather, but when one's body has adapted to such weather, it's much harder to change. I've adapted a bit, but not fully. it kind of sucks really because people really enjoy the weather.

[He gives a small laugh for a moment.]

I'm still coming over for now. I just don't plan on sleeping over unless there is a reason.

[ A quiet Fai is one that makes Dray worry a bit and he wonder if he's say the wrong thing. He doesn't know a lot but he knows Fai had a complicated past. Or at least one filled with one too many adventures. ]

That's not the case with Eidions, we adapt pretty fast to changes. Different biologies, I guess.

Good, that's good. But just let you know, I was going to roast marshmallows tonight.

Does that mean your making smores?

[Becaus that was important apparently.]

[ He discovered smores thanks to Emerald. it's his favourite food know. ]

They are a delicious treat, especially if you put crackers on either side for a sandwich.

[he has tried some during a time he made marshmallow treats. He figured they could be used for so many things then.]

I know. I never tried anything so delicious until I discovered them. Adding caramel or peanut butter makes them even better.

[ Yes, Fai. Come enjoy the smores love madness with him. ]

There are other things you can try as well.

[He just knows things. Still probably not his favourite treat, but pretty nice never the less.]

But eating too much would be bad for me.

You're the food expert, I'll welcome all the advice.

[ Dray is happy to listen to him. Fai's the cook, after all. ]

I'll make sure to stop you in time.

One thing I learned is you can use them as shot glasses.

[It is strange but something he tried.]

How sweet of you.

Shot glasses? How? The smores would get soggy.

[ Strange indeed. Dray can't imagine how that works. ]

I'm a delight, didn't you know? [ And apparently, very modest. ]

Wouldn't you like to know, but believe me it can be done.

[He couldn't help but chuckle.]

Of course, I wouldn't talk to you if you weren't. Or would I? That is the question.

You need to teach me one day, please.

[ Anything smores related if maximum priority of his. ]

Maybe, maybe not I guess we'll never know.

I will see when I will be able to.

[As well as all other things one can do with smores that Fai never knew of until he did research.]

But never the less I am glad we'll never know.

No rush! I'll eat the smores the classic way, they're just as good.

[ Dray nods, face softening. ]

Me too. I'm happy we are friends.

What is it about them that you like?

The taste of course. And the texture. They're very squishy.

I'd rather deal with the scorching heat than the cold of Winter.

Ah, a man after my own heart. [ Dray lowers his glasses and smiles. ] I spent the last ten years dealing with snow all year, I'm happy with this heat.

I grew up in a city that was in the desert myself, so I'm used to it. I'd die if I had to live in the snow for an entire year.

That must have been difficult too! I don't think I could live in a place without trees again.

I mean, the heat can get pretty bad. But I found ways to cope with it. And it's not like we didn't have proper ways to cool down.

Yep, Weiss's future husband and also the luckiest Faunus in existence because of it. [He could go on gushing about his beautiful future wife and how indescribably happy she makes him.]

Ah, good to know. Maybe you should share those ways with the people here, everyone seems to be having a hard time with the heatwave.

[ Dray's ears lower a bit and he has an expression that pretty much reads as AWWWWW. Happy couples, always so nice to see. ]

I'm really happy for you both, you make a good pair. Faunus? I've been confused with one in the past too. But you're not covered in fur.
