[Hello, Genessia! Here's a new face: older gentleman, exceptionally frizzy white hair (though part of that is the heat). If you were to think 'mad scientist' upon looking at him, you wouldn't exactly be wrong. He appears to be walking along a waterway in Nova City, admiring the sights.]
Hello! I've just awoken here the other day, and I gather that it's customary to greet everyone upon arrival? So I shall. I'm Dr. Emmett Brown, I specialize in timepieces and small repairs, and it's a pleasure to meet you all. Or...most of you, I hope. I don't want to presume.
I just have one question. How did you all decide where to live? It's probably the most convenient to live where you've found a job, and I'm hoping that won't be too difficult, but all of the cities have a wonderful charm to them. The comforts of the future, the charms of the past, what is, what could be...hell, it might take me the entire month to make a decision.

[Don't mind that his shoes are the table and off to the side]

[Alright maybe it wasn't exactly to Doc's left but close enough and Doc will hear the winding and wheezing noise of the Police Box materializing and The Doctor himself steps out in a long brown trench coat that looks made for winter]
Hallo.

Oh, right! I kind of didn't decided exactly. My ex-boyfriend missed me and sort of was like "come stay with me" and I'm too cheap to refuse free rent.
Which is highly impractical. Don't be me. There's some pretty good places everywhere if you know where to look. I could take you apartment shopping if you'd like.
[Or her ex-boyfriend could kidnap you too. Whatever.]

I'm glad it worked out for the two of you. And I'd appreciate that---of course, I'd make it worth your time with some business assistance.
video
Nah, it didn't. [Laughs.] But we're working on it.
Yeah! It'd be my honor, Doc!
[Pause.] Please tell me you know Looney Toons.

As for where to live, your necklace provides a clue: mind the colors. Where it never suggests is where you are now. Ah, provided you're still in Genessia City, of course, which is probably the best place to live.

[He lifts his pendant and squints down at it.]
Red. Never quite thought of it as my color.

And as usual when she has a look at the network, she's enjoying some tea. ]
That was simple, really. My dear sister and my head maid reside in a place within Everglade.
[ Hers is a French accent... that sounds rather aristocratic. ]

[He doesn't have much of a family these days, just one dear friend and a loyal dog, but he can always hope.]
Do you enjoy it there?

Each of the cities seem to cater to different worlds. For instance, my own world has machines but nothing as fantastical of those of Nova City, while the magical nature of Fayren feels far more familiar.
[She's just going to lean her chin on a gauntleted hand, causing the jewelry on her horns to jingle a bit.]

I can imagine so. What is normally divided by dimensional barriers comes together as one, like something I never thought I'd see.

[It was that statement, in particular, that piqued Mai's interest most. Just an expression? Perhaps, or perhaps...]
What about the Present?
[A question asked mostly to hear what his answer might be. As for his own inquiries...]
Some of us have been fortunate enough to know people already here. That helped a lot with housing. In some instances, even employment. But I also took a tour of the city itself and found a place with interests similar to my own. And skills I've had for a long time.
[He laughs, gently.]
I'm afraid I don't know anyone, but I've heard employment isn't too terribly difficult to find.

I'd imagine the best place to live would be anywhere that you would feel the most familiar with.

I stuck around in Genessia, and picked a good place to watch sunsets from. But that's just me. Though I guess if you still can't pick by the end of the month you could always put all your options in a hat a pick one at random.
video
Though I'm curious now: what's the best spot to watch a Genessia sunset from?

Late tag in ^^;;
No worries!
Which...isn't all that impossible, but surely makes employment difficult.
