[This definitely looks like Fayren. Some river somewhere, not exceptionally deep but more than enough for this.

This, being... Well, Elias. The phone looks like he'd turned it on from a bit of a distance, angled somewhat downward from a slightly higher perch.

It's definitely Elias settled in the stream, but he's... bigger. Than usual. A long, flat, scaled tail trailing out behind him in the water, a ruff of fur and feathers about his shoulders and neck, drifting lazily in the water around him.

His massive head propped up on a rock, his mouth open like some particularly gruesome looking alligator.]

... I've used my funds poorly, for this month.

[As usual, his mouth doesn't budge as he speaks. The words are clearly from him despite this but... Well. It's an interesting scene to parse. His eyes roll towards the communicator, apparently not caring terrifically when a bird perches on a tooth in that open maw.]

If anyone could bring me some ice... I would appreciate it.

[Cooked food, mostly. Raw deer and fish and wild animals aren't actually his favorite thing anymore, he's been spoiled by having a cook.

[As Ted went to mimic Tarzan, he wondered whether he could pant, or sweat, and whether either would do much good.

Several minutes later--why idle when doing good?--he'd arrive a few feet away, resuming the colorful dress he preferred over the blackness of his transport. The aforementioned made for a wonderful makeshift ice-chest, and Ted came bearing two sacks of ice in each hand.]

Happy Independence Day! Not, alas, a holiday Genessia knows, but keep your eyes heavenward just in case. Now, er, should I...apply these myself?

[He wasn't sure just how sedentary Elias was. And so long as he's thinking of awkward questions, it occurred to him that Elias wasn't dressed.]

...This, aheh, isn't, ah...a scandal, is it?

[He could hear the arrival, as soon as Ted was actually a few feet away, mouth still open, head still propped up. More birds had gathered at this point, hopping here and there over his skull, teeth and horns.]

An American holiday, is it not? It has no point here.

[He doesn't seem to want to move, but there's a snort.]

Toss them towards me into the water. I'll catch them.

[It's been a few weeks, almost nearly a month or so, but Athos still remembers this odd creature. They spoke once before when he first arrived. During then, Elias worn his dopey looking disguise.

Now, Elias certainly looks more monstrous than Athos thought possible.]

Is that truly you?

[Ah, yes, that's right. He remembered Athos. The massive, flat and finned tail swept to the side, a fat fish leaping over the sudden blockage as the fairy in the water let out a heavy, heated huff.]

Yes.

It's too hot for clothes.

[He continues staring at Elias in bewilderment once he spots that odd tail thrashing about. The poor man doesn't know what to think right now. He's absolutely stunned by what he's witnessing here. Elias looks like a monster right out of some macabre fairy tail.

It's both fascinating and terrifying but now isn't the time for either awe or fear.]

Understandable. [He replies quickly before checking if he has any ice bags left over in the fridge. It's been a grueling day, even for him.] I have some ice left over but you ought drink water instead.

[Elias looks absolutely miserable. It's easy to tell that the creature is over heating.]

[Well, the comparison wouldn't be wrong! His mouth never moves, which is good, considering there's more birds gathering upon the gaping maw, the thick tongue inside of it not even twitching as he easily replies.]

I have had plenty of water.

[Heaven knows he's surrounded by it.]

I would like ice for the outside of me.

[ Dray is wearing a summer hat with holes for his ears but he's far form troubled by the heat. ]

OHHHH...you look amazing. Nice tail! I didn't know you could shape-shift.

And I can bring you some ice but you'd feel better if you got inside a house with AC. It would last longer than the ice.

Why not? You can get into mine if you want, consider yourself invited. I also live next to the river, is the Glass house in the middle of the forest. You could even get here swimming.
