[The feed randomly turned on as Rose appeared to be in her bedroom, sitting at her desk. There were a few stacks of books lying around her as she had one in her hand. Running her hand through her hair, it was clear that she was frustrated about something. Suddenly, she threw the book she was reading near the direction of the communicator.]

Pointless! Why do I even try with this shit? How is this any different from Wonderland? I spend nearly two damn years in that place and I never got anywhere to escaping. And then when I thought I had it, it turns out that that was a flop.

Stupid. This is stupid.

I knew Wonderland like the back of my hand by the time I was coming up with ideas. What is there to know about this damn place? There's no pattern to follow. There's nothing to go by. Nobody seems to know anything.

[Getting up from where she was, she walked towards the direction of her comm. Leaning over to grab the calender, she stopped as she realized something. July 1st. It was July first, which means that she'd missed her own birthday by at least 4 days. Realizing this, she smacked a pile of books as it fell to the ground along with the communicator.]

Damn it!

This is really pissing me off! I need to get home. I need to protect Lissa. And by this point I may have as well graduated and became Lissa's legal Guardian. Where the hell is my party with all of my friends? Fuck all of this. I'm only supposed to be 18 at the latest and yet I'm technically 21 now.

[Glancing down to realize the Comm was on, she let out a deep sigh. Grabbing it, she finally acknowledged it.]

If you're responsible for bringing us all here, show yourself. Stop this bullshit and be a man. Just know this. I will find a way out, and I will found out who's responsible. When I do, I'm going to kick your ass. I've had enough of this bullshit.

[And with that, she turns off the comm.

As it is, I do not know of this Wonderland you speak of. However, since you've known me for a while prior to our meeting here in this world, might I give a piece of advice.

Learn to complain less, and act instead.

Yeah I remember you mentioning that to me. I guess it's hard to sit around and not do anything but don't stress yourself too much. It's not too bad.

A few estranged pieces of information. There are such things as Archways which can bring you back to your own world and allow others to enjoy it as well. However, the process does not ensure you remain in your world permanently.

[Almost like a cat, he backs his body a bit, and snaps it forward. As if in a hissing motion, but without the sound effects. He'd pull Ishtar's cheeks too if only the act wasn't debatable. Plus, it took too much effort on his part.]

Suit yourself. But it's like being a prisoner within a doll house. Everything moves, you interact, but it's all for naught. Something will still pull you back here.

We all need to get home, but it doesn't look like there's much of a way to actually do that right now.

That's why we need information. As much as I hate to say it... at least Wonderland had a pattern. About every two weeks we had something happen. And every time something happened, it had to be based off of somebody that was currently there or where they're from. That included, it also meant that they lost some sort of memory as a result of the queen toying with us.

But this place... There's no pattern to follow. Sure we had the Pokemon show up, but what else is there to go by? Without any logical steps, just how the hell are we supposed to find a way out?

[Unlike Rose as of two to three years ago, this Rose is a lot more logical. She's had to suck up it up when it came to reading and researching in order to figure a way out. Still, she still hates it... but if she was going to get back home to Lissa, she needed to do something. Even feeling her darkness or emotions via spirit kissed bond would be better than nothing, which was saying a lot all things considered.]

[ zuko was lost. he'd stumbled upon a conversation half centered around things and places that meant nothing to him, a conversation he only half commented on. there was an iroh-like voice in his head that was scolding him for zeroing in on the parts he recognized while sweeping the rest under the rug when it was obviously important to this girl. ]

I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with this Wonderland or Pokémon. I've never heard of either before, but I agree that we need information. I'm just not sure how we would go about obtaining it. Most people I talk to don't seem to know exactly who or what's controlling this place, nevermind who comes and goes.

[Right, he wouldn't know... No one here knew... but she didn't seem to be the only one who came from a different world from their own before coming here.]

Right... Sorry about that. I'm just sick of this shit... I was stuck in a different world that was something like this one for 2 years before getting stuck here. To go from one world to another where you have no way out is ridiculous.

That's the issue. There's no patterns or information around here. At least Wonderland had more to go on.

[Shifting her video feed to show Squirtle, who was currently eating an apple.]

That's a Pokemon. They came for a month and msot of them left, but some of them stuck around.

[ terrible at comforting and apologies in general, zuko was more than happy to focus on the pokémon instead. to someone from a world with turtleducks, mooselions, and all sorts of other chimerical creatures, rose's squirtle looked more like a "normal" animal to him than the plain turtles and ducks he's been exposed to since finding himself here. ]

It kind of looks like a beak-less turtleduck.

It's what places like this do, I suppose.

A turtleduck? Surprisingly I haven't heard of that yet.

It's probably something unique to my world. There's been a flock of turtleducks living around this small pond in the courtyard at the center of the palace since I was a little kid. They're pretty friendly, as long as you don't get too close to the turtleducklings.

I see. Certainly sounds interesting enough. Who I am is a "myth" in a relevantly normal society in a normal world. Weird with me doesn't even begin to explain things that happen around/to me.

Who are you supposed to be?

[Rose has long since cared about people knowing about what she was. There was no point in hiding it when everyone else was just as strange as she was.]

Sounds weird, but I'm a type of vampire. A Dhampir, or otherwise a half-breed to be exact. I'd have to get into detail, but all you need to know from the top of my head is that, I'm more human than I am vampire though.

Thankfully for that because I couldn't imagine having to survive on blood. I enjoy food too much. I also have no need to keep that secret in a place like this. Back home is a different story.

Well, I'm a firebender. And the crown prince of a country you've probably never heard of. Bending is pretty common where I'm from, but it doesn't seem to be anywhere else.

[Vampires are a concept that Rose thought nearly everyone knew about to some extent. Of course it was possible that people wouldn't know too.]

Woah, wait. You're a prince? Not too shabby. My best friend is the last of her bloodline. [And future queen because of Rose lul]

[Granted, the first thing she thinks of when she hears "prince" is how loosely being a prince/princess is used back home. The second one being the bitch queen.]

I'm not sure what a firebender is. What exactly is bending?

[ it's okay; zuko doesn't think of his title as being very solid either, himself. it's a very loose styling, applied mostly for the benefit of his sibling and the desire to keep azula believing the lie he's told her. zuko isn't a prince anymore. not really. he might've been born one, but retaliating against ozai and fleeing the country meant that he'd all but signed his name to the proper scrolls that would forever remove his name from the line of succession. he'd never be fire lord. he came to terms with that a while ago. ]

I have a friend who's the last of a bloodline, too. [ calling the avatar friend is something he's still getting used to. ]

Bending is exactly what it sounds like. [ zuko sets the device down so he can give her a proper demonstration, bending fire into one hand and passing it between the two, alternating between firey bursts and controlled, snake-like streams. ] I can create and manipulate fire.

[That would do it... and that's something that Rose would do. She has done something like that actually... About to comment on the friend thing until he showed his firebending.]

Oh, so other worlds have stuff like that too... I have a friend who can use fire, but it's magic specified to pureblood vampires back home.
