Have you ever had a situation that was exacerbated by ignorance, and that more information might've helped? If you went through with revealing the truth or enlightening people, did it work, or backfire? What would you have done differently if you could?

Fine.

My suggestion is to tell a few people, see if they have a breakdown, then decide from there. Use the scientific method, so repeat the process a few times to be sure what you know isn’t going to start a riot.
