Video; Sun goes to Tokyo!

[Well, things had been crazy in this place lately. So Sun had found different ways of occupying his times so his mind wouldn’t linger on things for too long. One of those ways was exploring. And in his exploration, he stumbled across this sub-archway.

He was standing in the sprawling metropolis that was Tokyo. And man, this city was massive. Sun is pretty amazing, looking back and forth between everything on the busy streets.]

Whoa. Has anyone ever been to this place before? [ He shows his view of the city, to let all of the colorful signs, busy streets and just the general liveliness of it all be seen. And that wasn’t even all of it. And here he thought the city of Vale was huge. Though which was bigger between the two, he didn’t really know.]

I live plenty... In situations where I'm not at risk of ending up with a wanted poster that might end up getting sent to Schnee Headquarters.

[ She doesn't know how it would get there from Genessia, but it might. Or her family members might show up here somehow. She really has no idea. ]

You'd have an interesting story to tell your family if that happened, at least. [A really fun story if Sun had his say in the matter.]

Would it really be such a big deal if you got in trouble with the police and they found out?

Absolutely not.

[ She's a little certain sure she can't even tell her family that she's hanging out with a faunus, actually. ]

And absolutely, yes, it would be a big deal.

[Yep. You are already being such a bad girl by hanging out with a riffraff Faunus. The elevator reaches the top and lets them off.]

Well what's the worst they can do? Scold you and ground you?

[ Just because she's realized they're not bad doesn't mean her family would agree. ]

I don't know, Sun. [ Her tone drops a little. She really doesn't want to discuss what she thinks might happen. ] You're going to keep arguing until I agree to do it, aren't you?

[He wasn't trying to pressure her or anything. He was just genuinely curious as to what they might do if she were to get in trouble with the police.]

I'm not going to pressure you into doing something that you don't want to do. But I will point out that anything you do here? They probably aren't going to find out about it. We are cut off completely from our world, from what I can tell. [And after the crowd clears, they can step off.]

I didn't say I didn't want to do it.

[ Weiss drops down from the railing and steps ahead of Sun. When she sees the platform, it's obvious that they're not all the way up. They've both been at extreme heights before, she's assuming, it's obvious when you're not all the way at the top of something. She really doesn't want to get in trouble, but if they're starting this high off the ground, what's anyone going to do? ]

If you can find a way outside from this platform, I'll climb the rest of the way up with you.

[He follows her off and he couldn't help but smile big at her words.]

See. that is more like it, Weiss. There is probably a maintenance door or something up here that we can get through. [There had to be, right?]

[ Her attempts at being the reasonable one never seem to stick. ]

Like I said, you find it, and I'll go. I'm going to go look around for something to eat. Meet me.. [ She looked around, then pointed to one of the viewers. ] There, in 10 minutes. If you can't find one by then, we'll just stick to the platform.

[Sun checks out where she is pointing on the viewer and then he gives a nod.] Then minutes.

Make sure its a good place. [Though a good place could very well be packed. But if the food was worth it, he wouldn't mind the wait.]

[ She's not sure that she's going to have that option with them being on an observation deck in a tower, but she'll look and ask around. Weiss goes off and immediately just goes to ask someone who looks like they work here where to eat, then spends the rest of the time checking out what they have so she can report back to Sun.

Once she's back at the agreed upon spot, Weiss stares out the window and looks around. This place is huge. She has no idea how Sun was planning on exploring the whole thing without a plan or in just a day. Oh well. It was okay to have fun and do things like this every once in a while. She'd just try to get a map and try to find some brochures on the way out so that she could plan something out for future trips since she wanted to know more about this place. ]

[Sun arrives maybe a minute or two after her, having spotted a maintenance door that lead outside of the platform. Once they were through that door, they'd have to go up some stairs to get a little higher before they could really climb the door.]

How'd your search go?

Fine. Most of the restaurants are at the foot of the tower, but there's a Cafe la Tour here. They have a couple of sandwiches, potatoes, chicken nuggets, and a lot of flavors of ice cream and sodas that I've never tried. If we can find a way to carry them, I'd say we can probably get them up and eat at the top as long as we're careful not to drop anything.

[ Because seriously how cool would that be? Once Weiss gets pumped for doing something, she's all in. ]

Sounds like a decent enough selection to me.

I found a door that leads outside. It says off limits, but if we ignore that writing then it shouldn't be a problem for us to head up higher. [He pauses for a second.]

You want to eat our food up there too? [He's not opposed to that at all. If anything, he's more excited. Who is this Weiss and what has she done with Ice Queen?]

Only if we can pay for it properly and find a way to get it up there while we're climbing.

[ Eating with a really awesome view doesn't sound like a bad thing, that's all. If she's already agreed to go up there with him, then they might as well make the most of it. The biggest problem is that she can't fit a tray of chicken nuggets and ice cream in her pocket. ]

If they have some kind of containers for the food, we could put it in a bag and I could just hold it with my tail. Unless you would have an easier time carrying it while using your glyphs.

I'll get drinks, you get the food.

[ That way they are both doing their part and she's not worrying about balancing food while doing her glyphs. They can get bottled drinks and it'll all be great. ]

Sounds like a plan to me. Lead the way to the food place.

[ Weiss starts off toward the cafe, pulling her wallet out as they cross the entrance and head up to the display case and menu. ]

What do you want?

[Sun studies the menu when they arrive. Those ice cream cones look pretty tempting...But the cups would probably be safer as long as they came with lids.]

Ham, egg and lettuce sandwich, mango sundae and..a melon soda.

{{ OOC: I couldn't find it.. }}

Then I'll get chicken nuggets, ginger ale, and a mont blanc cake.

[ There were a lot of things that she wanted to try in terms of ice cream, but the cake looked pretty good too. For a brief moment she wondered if Sun would share so she could try the ice cream, but decided she wasn't going to ask. The moment of truth, though, was seeing if they could actually pay for it. With Sun's order in mind, she went up to the cashier with an uncertain look.

She manages to order though and just hands her Genessia bank card over and kind of.. hopes. ]

[Sun waits patiently and watches from his spot. He isn't sure how this will work out or not, but they are about to find out.]

[ooc: From what the mod told me, there is some sort of exchange. But she went to bed before I could get the details. We I guess we can just assume they accept Genessian currency.]

{{ OOC: Sounds good. }}

[ Waiting patiently it looks like it ends up going through somehow. Weiss seems to let out a sigh of relief when she does, looking much more confident about it as the cashier returns the card. ]

Well that's a relief. [ Especially since she was more hungry now that she was staring at the food than she was when they first had the idea. The cashier hands them what they ordered as soon as it's ready and Weiss asks for a bag and a cup holder. She gets a bit of an odd look since most people just eat there but they get them, so she holds the bag out to Sun, holding the cup holder in one hand herself. ]

[Sun takes the bag and has to resist the urge to dig into his own food right now.]

Looks like it all went well. Good thing, too, it would have been hard to dine and dash at a place like this. [Though he hadn't seriously been planning to do that..if he could help it.]

Let's go, Weissy. [He starts to lead the way to the maintenance door now.]

If we couldn't pay for it, we were going to skip lunch.

[ There's that Weissy again.. She stares after him for a second in disbelief that he kept insisting on calling her that, but didn't end up saying anything. Honestly, it was better than some of the alternatives and she didn't mind it that much. ]

I'm coming! [ Weiss follows him out, looking around to make sure no one's watching them. ]
