☄ 001 - Arrival
[ACTION](OPEN)
[It always seems to be water, somehow. Chise has awoken in the bay, but doesn’t stay there long, opting not to sit around and wait for Weiss’ explanation to finish. She’s already fumbling with her phone, redbills and key. In retrospect, it might have been smarter for her to hang around and get the lowdown from Weiss like she was supposed to, but she’d been impaitent and now she was regretting it.
Eventually, looking between the phone, key, and redbills she comes to a conclusion. These had been provided for a reason so she’ll just… ask directions. The next person to happen by is going to feel someone grab their sleeve.
Luckily it's not someone trying to pickpocket them or be otherwise menacing. It's just Chise.]
Excuse me, do you have a moment? [Please help small girl who looks more lost than she has been in a while.]
[VIDEO](OPEN) w/ Elias
Um. [It’s after her abrupt exit from the bay that the feed cuts on, the backdrop being the semi cloudy sky but the most prominent image in frame is a head of bright red hair, framing wide forest green eyes. Chise grips the phone in her hands tightly, the crinkles around her eyes betraying the worry creeping up her back.]
Elias? Ruth? [another pause—]
[She’d not get much further than that. Honestly, she didn’t even have to say Elias’ name. The only reason she got that far was because Elias had to take half a second to get all the goddamn water off of him.
Why?
So that when the fairy suddenly enveloped Chise in a sudden, all encompassing embrace, he wouldn’t be getting her all soggy, as he swept her quite suddenly off her feet.]
[Luckily Chise’s grip on her phone remains steady or it probably would have launched off somewhere ridiculous, instead it is forgotten and unceremoniously dropped into her lap so she can wrap her arms around Elias’ neck in a relieved, but tight hug.
The phone is remembered suddenly, even as the upside down and askew image of their reunion is till being broadcast to all]
Ah. I think it’s still running.
[Elias, quite frankly, could have cared less about the phone. He did, however, cast a glance at it for a moment, as if considering something, before, almost petulantly, plucking the phone from her lap and letting it drop on the pavement.
Within the next moment, from it’s position there, the phone would easily pick up the image of the mage taking a sudden, almost jarring seat right there on the ground, Chise still bundled up in his arms, before he proceeded to rest his head just… right on top of hers, his shoulders sagging.
Yes. Someone was lonely.]
You must have been waiting a long time. I’m sorry I made you wait.
[They can worry about the broadcast when anyone responds. For now, Chise chooses to lean back against Elias, hands curled around his. ...at least they’re not in the middle of the street or anything?]
[[ooc: Both are open! Video comments may get replies from both or either! Red font is spoken by Chise!]]

I take it that you are from the same world?
no subject
Ah, yes. Sorry. [she glances up at Elias, who is still resting his head on her own.]
You know Elias?
no subject
Hello! No need to be sorry. And yes I do, my name is Dray.
We talked a few times and a few days ago I gave him some ice because the current heatwave is causing people a lot of troubles I'm sure he can confirm that if you ask him.
no subject
Dray has been quite helpful.
no subject
It's nice to meet you, Dray. Thank you. [For helping. Did Elias say thank you?]
no subject
Thanks, Elias. You look happy.
[ Or as happy as someone with a skull head can look. ]
no subject
I do?
[Look, it's always new when someone other than Chise can actually read him!]
(no subject)
That is why he's somewhat relieved.]
...I take it that you know him.
no subject
Has he been making friends?]
Mm, I do. Sorry, if he worried you. [Chise why are you apologizing.]
no subject
[The musketeer smiles some.]
I'm Athos and you are?
no subject
I've been quite helpful since I arrived, Chise.
no subject
That's good. [She offers a smile, subtle as it is.]
It's Chise Hatori—My name, that is.
no subject
[He's joking of course. Elias has been nothing short of friendly as of late. Although, he gave Athos a bit of a fright a day ago.]
Nice to meet you, Chise. If you have any questions about this world, feel free to ask. I'll assist however I may.

So pretty..!
[but caught herself, giggling] Ah-sorry, miss. I really like your hair. What do you need?
[She slung the bag over her shoulder]
no subject
Um, I was wondering where... this goes. [she holds out the key. She knows it's to an apartment of sorts but the question of WHERE the apartment is though...]
Hana please don't flirt
Yes, so..that goes to a pair of really neat but CRAMPED apartment building. [Hana wiped her wet hands on her clothes. Didn't want river water to get on her new pretty friend]
What's your name? Aaand..did you listen to the ah..what's it called..
...well. I call it a ghost. The lady with white hair?
no subject
No, I think I left before... [she looks back in the direction of the bay, and then to Hana.] Could you show me where they are, instead?
...I'm Chise. Chise Hatori.
no subject
[Hana nodded, grabbed her bag full of assorted goods, and hopped ahead ya bird. But she stopped at the outside of the cave where all the pamphlets and hologram was]
Ah..this brings back (kind of scary) memories..
[she made sure to look back to see if Chise followed] -I hope you aren't afraid..despite being here suddenly, this is quite the nice place.
no subject
just alone. (Luckily, she proves to be wrong, later on.)
But lost in those thoughts she does forget to actually Answer Hana, despite having taken steps to follow her.]

THREAD WRAP?!
ACTION
He doesn't though.
Instead, he seems quite comfortable to just sit there, like a statue, soaking in this moment.]
No.
It was not your fault. Do not apologize for your absence, neither of us could have asked to be here.
no subject
How long have you been here? I thought... I'd just seen you at home before I woke up in that bay.
[She's likewise content to sit as they are for now, but they're going to have to move at some point though—Chise had been out in public but at least she'd shuffled off to some shady part of the park.]
no subject
... No, it's still weird, but at least he's not surprised to hear it.]
That's unsurprising. Time within this realm functions differently.
[A touch perhaps like Tir Na Nog, in a sense-]
I have been here for nearly a full year.
[... Tir Na Nog but backwards.]
no subject
A full year!?
[The shout is followed with a sudden movement as she sits up suddenly, intending to turn around so she can look at him in the face. This only causes her head to knock into the underside of his chin with a particularly painful klonk, and she reaches up to hold the top of her head instead.
Ow.]
no subject
It doesn't hurt him half has much as it hurts her, and it's happened before.
But he's still going to lift his head waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy the hell up and then shift it off to the side to give her plenty of room to jump around oh no oh dear-]
... Yes.
[Spoken as he gently soothes a hand over her head.]
Quite nearly.
no subject
I'm glad I'm here now then. [She leans in and gently presses her forehead against his muzzle-y head]
