Bad Luck Hits, all the mirrors going down!

[It was time to get up, and now in Uai's home? This was such a nice change. She wasn't in the mood to truly not sleep because it was nice, but she was still haunted by the nightmares of what could be happening in her world. But there was one thing that distracted her momentarily...

MIRRORS!

There was one in the bathroom and she liked looking at herself in the mirror. Sometimes she would alter her human form, or practice shapeshifting, but it was just so fun to see yourself. However, a bad feeling popped up inside, and even made the mirror ripple. Blinking, she squinted her eyes and saw herself...but it was her-in dragon form...and.....

Her gaze turned to horror at how her white fur was disintegrating off of her, pure white eyes staring back, and the black flames engulfing her and her heart. The dragon then finally uttered] You left them...you left them to perish....your whole world to perish... failure....fa....i .... ll ..uuuuu .. rrrrrreee...

[Images of the mirror showed the chaos and destruction, but only of what she has wrought, some images of what she could do to Genessia. Shaking her head, Hana finally punched the mirror, took it off the wall, crushing it, gazed to the window and jumped through it. Once she was out, she turned into her dragon form and flew for a bit before crashing in another city. Her body was sore from being a human for too long, everything cramped up, and now? Now she was hurt and crying.]

[[Action - A]]

[You see a large crying dragon that freshly flew to the ground and was hurt in your town.] Mmm..mm..Mother....Father........ [sniffles, her paws over her face, not even recognizing someone going towards her...good or bad!

But one noticeable thing is how it looks like her white fur is fading in the wind from the black flames of her heart. She is reactive...be warned!]

[[Action - B]]

[Hana composes herself and tries to head to the mountains to heal and to seek out her family. She calls out to them, but from walking as a dragon, she is bruised and has been tripping a lot. The bad luck had spread, and she's now jumpy as ever, so when she hears something, her fur and feathers poof out]

Wh-who's there?! Show yourself! [she snarls, blinded by her grief, it is noticeable that streaks of her fur is turning black from the black flames]

I'm not afraid to fight!

[Azure smiled softly at the dragon's well-meaning words.]

Those are no words a warrior could live by. Besides, it's no way to live by running just because I don't understand something or a situation completely.

But I shall be respectful and keep my distance. I would still like to insist my help, sometimes two heads are better than one when figuring out a situation, you know?

Mmmmm...

[A warrior was a recent word she learned from her home, righteous Light Seekers...Warriors who seek fight and blood. This made her droop a bit]

You may if you'd like, I don't mind it so long as you're safe.

[Hana wiped her tears away, and got up] I'm going to the mountains, come with me if you'd like. But I..want to know why you're a warrior?

Why I'm a warrior?

[She was glad to be able to help look out for the poor creature but the question caught her a bit off guard. So true to how she was, she answered as truthfully as possible.]

To be honest I was born into it and grew to love what privalages it allowed me. I could travel to different towns with ease, the best training aside from royalty and knights, and had access to the newests of news. Most of all I lived to protect those who could not protect themselves. That last part honestly got me in trouble though, I don't regret what I had done to help.

[Azure then tilted her head curiously.]

May I ask why you are going up the mountain?

[This was really really sad to her, there wouldn't have to be protecting others if there wasn't such a craving for bloodshed..]

I see..

...Do..do people really become that dangerous..? I don't want to believe it. And yet..perhaps I need to accept that everyone can be dangerous. [her eyes lowered sadly and went on to walk with Azure]

The mountain..is where I feel the most safe. It is the place of my home, where my loved ones are, everything good always happens there.

People become that dangerous for selfish needs and gains...Sometimes it's for self-preservation. It all depends on the situation at hand. But not just humans, creatures of all kinds demonstrate that capability. It's just that though, what one is capable of. It's never a guarantee.

[The woman followed the dragon's lead as they started making their way up the mountain.]

On a lighter note, I'm glad to hear the mountains are a special place for you.

[Hana nodded solemly] It is my home.. and the home of many..

[but she was still concerned, so her tail swished and decided to ask more questions of her friend. This time more resolved to protect Azure from anything]

For selfish gains..where did that come from? Did we not cherish everyone enough? Were we not caring?

[bites her tongue] ...Sorry. From where I'm from humans started becoming more violent and more wanting to kill-like you said...

I'm...Unsure why. I know it had to benefit the powers that be in one way or another for things to happen the way they did.

As for caring and cherishing...If it's one-sided, it's meant to hurt no matter what. To find out if it's one-sided, words are not used, actions are. I'm sorry to hear that humans were treating you poorly, I hope you do not think ill of me.

[That made her pause in her tracks and turned to Azure to give her a gentle, light hug. Hana knew how to hug her beloved humans in this form..she did form the paws just for the purpose of hugging anyway.

She started to tear up]

No. No, never. I could never think ill will of you, or any of the humans. At all. So please, I may not like fighting and the idea of warriors, but it more breaks my heart that such wonderful, caring, loving creatures turn on each other and everything...

[Hana gazed down at her new friend, not minding the hurt from before, or even from her memories]

Us dragons-or perhaps my kind- will always be your Guardians, no matter what. We won't fight back because we are the same. We are all made of the Dark, but formed by the Light...and that combination makes everything so beautiful and unique...

[ Azure's eyes widened at the hug before a soft smile spread over her lips. She moved to gaze up at the Hana, her eyes full of love for a dragon that held so much herself.]

I realize it's your choice not to fight, but please let me or someone be your blade to defend. I know I just met you but it would wound me to see you hurt.

-As it would kill me to see anyone else get hurt or wounded..

[Hana whined, a low growl of concern emerging] I can defend myself and especially others, it is my duty to quell any conflict.

[sighing, she released Azure and stretched out her hurt wing a bit; wincing in response] Ack.. Walking is very tedious, though, forgive me if I cannot just fly up there or maybe give you a fun flying ride.

My humans loved that, especially the little ones..[Hana beamed at those memories of her humans]

[Azure frowned in concern when she saw the hurt wing, there was more and more being revealed and she was afraid the situation was dire.]

You're hurt...And I never expected to receive such an honor from you such as being able to fly.

[That did sound fun though, but her injury was very concerning to her.]

Are there healing springs on the mountain? I'm afraid it may be terribly treacherous if you are having problems walking as well.

[Hana laughed, wiping her tears] Oh please, I would love to fly a lot of people and creatures if it meant bringing them joy~

[beaming, she folded her one wing] No, but it is a place of rest and safety for me. That will be enough for a sore wing..and to be myself for a bit. If I stay in my human form for too long, I start to hurt.

[that and you just jumped out of the window out of sheer freight and fell to the ground before attempting to fly away gg Hana]

So..if this journey is too much, I can go on my own. I'm..not afraid anymore. You helped me, Azure~

[Azure is looking at you in awe Hana.]

You can take on a human form? How fascinating! Though I'm very sorry to hear that it hurts you to hold it for too long.

As for your journey, I do not mind escorting you, I'd like to see you make it to a safe place at least, mountains are nothing I haven't traversed before.

[The swordswoman gives the dragon a reassuring smile, she meant every word she said.]

Oh yes! You see, us Draconics can change into any form because we are made from The Shadow, and The Shadow is all. I'm trying to master trying to turn into other creatures, but I can only be a human for now.

[continuing ahead, Hana smiled in comfort]

What can I do to repay you? Humans in my world loved to trade services with each other, and it was often traded through stories...or memories.

The Shadow...That's interesting.

[It made sense too, since The Shadow it all that she could BE all. Azure found that concept interesting and wondered if there was any literature on it around Genessia.]

I believe all I would even want to ask for is friendship. I don't mind telling you the legends of my world either.

[Memories, however...She considered hers too painful to even want to speak about. She didn't want others to know the trials she went through before coming here.]

Hm..? Wait have you heard of The Shadow..?

[Hana's ears and feathers perked at someone knowing! That would be quite interesting! ]

Then it is settled, I'll definitely be friends with you. Hehe legends of your world, you mean your history, yes?

No, no I haven't. It just made sense when you put it into context like that is all.

[Azure smiled when she heard the dragon was willing to be friends with her.]

Some are based on true events, other's are questionable.

[A low, curious purr arose from her throat]

True events and no so true stories are legends? That sounds like a story. Aah..

[Sure, Hana was a lil' disappointed that no one has heard of their leader, The Shadow, but she was getting more and more used to not knowing]

My journey leading up to Genessia proved to be quite the interesting one where I discovered truths and lies with my research and sword.

[Azure looked thoughtful as she said as much, closing her eyes to gain her bearings again she looked over at Hana.]

Sorry, a lot of it is painful to remember.

[The struggle was real.]

[Hana gave a little loving nuzzle against Azure with her snout, assuring her]

If it is too painful, you don't have to share. You've shared enough, young human warrior.

[she purred and continued on, releasing the woman]

I can certainly tell you something about before Genessia then-my world that is, if you wish to listen. It is painful, but..I think it is a misunderstanding as a whole.

[A smile returned to Azure's lips as she was given affectionate nuzzles.]

I do not mind listening if you are willing to tell.

[Giving a squeak of delight, the dragon gave a light hop forward and nodded] Yes~ Of course! I love sharing stories~

Now, now..what kind do you want to hear? You said Legends but I don't quite know what that entails in my world. Aaah..what kind of climate did you live in your home?

Tell me your favorite one. Legends are said to be based on the truth of history for the most part, but it's hard to tell since some of the feats seem like tall tales.

[Azure followed her hop forward, glad to see the dragon was feeling better overall. Hopefully, her wing could easily be healed but Azure have to bring a healer out for that.]

As for where I lived, it was in a valley of mountains that surrounds us on three sides and the sea on the other. So the weather was a bit temperamental but mostly nice, that was until winter came and winter stayed...
