[ This is day four of her streak of bad luck and it's safe to say that L3-37 is thoroughly done with her bad luck. The droid is looking quite battered as she appears on the video screen, sitting in a small apartment which currently sports an overturned couch and a paint-splattered robot lady who is giving off sparks. ]

Is it normal in this place that you get buckets of dirty water and paint poured on you?

And is it normal that your charging dock explodes on you? And the tools you just bought break off?

[ She crosses her arms over her chest. ]

I take back everything nice I said about this place. It's worse than a rancor's pit.

No, no, can't say I've ever read any fantastical holonovels. Not of the kind that's common in Fayren and Everglade, anyway. The only kind of fantastical stories I got to hear were the excuses my partner came up with to talk his way out of trouble.

Haha, well done! Alas, I don't think "holonovels" are common anywhere. I've not heard of them even in Nova City; do they allow robots to absorb the information at light speed?

And no, they don't have holonovels here, but I like the books. And Nova City has a good database of local literature. I've been enjoying it.

Goodness; never thought I'd be covetous of droids. Bibliophilia couldn't be easier. Well, for your next library visit, I recommend Grimm's Fairy Tales for a start. You never know when you might encounter another enchanted mirror. Play your cards right, and you may even ask who's the fairest droid of them all.
