[A][Action] Fayren & Everglade
[1] Faerie Trouble
[This isn't too unusual, but even Chise finds her current predicament kind of outrageous. She's used to attracting the attention of "neighbors"—faeries of all kinds essentially—but she's not used to this. As she strolls down either the streets of Fayren or Everglade (fayren in the morning and everglade in the afternoon) she's practically covered with hangers on. Female appearing aeriels and other associated elemental smaller beings, some even with wings have all decided she's the bees knees. At least she's more or less used to this, as a Sleigh Beggy. As she walks by some buildings other strange looking fey peer out and one or two might waddle or follow behind her.
The strange thing is at this point she's not the only one who can see them. One particular prissy neighbor is currently in a slap fight on top of her head with another, both deciding that the highest perch is their own. It's driving Chise to distraction as she's trying to get to her destination.]
...could you stop fighting? [She says this before walking smack straight into whoever it is she had originally been trying to walk past. Distraction can apparently hella alter your course if you're not paying attention. Enjoy Chise and the blanket of fey she's currently dealing with.]
[2] Shopping
[At some points in her trip she manages to ditch the neighbors indoors as she pops into assorted magic shops, a list in her hands. She has very specific things she needs, a list she probably composed with Elias' help. It was for Amalthea, of course, and the promise Chise had made to the Unicorn-turned-young-woman. At one point she stoops down to pick up a heavy looking box full of crystals and gems of assorted colors.
They're all pretty, but not what she's looking for. It's crouched down here that she finds what she wants, up on the highest shelf. Not one to ask for help, she's going to carefully try to reach up, even perhaps climbing up on the shelf (since it looks like there's a ladder built in) but it's only a matter of time before she starts to lose her balance.
...and slips backwards. Hopefully she doesn't fall on anyone, or break herself somehow.
Otherwise, at one point, she even pops into a certain Irish loser's shop, most of her browsing involving looking over the runes and things that seem to make up a good portion of his shop.]
[C][Video] Food & Cooking
[It's a weird, somewhat strange question, but it's better to ask and know than to wonder and have to figure it out on your own at a much slower pace, right? Besides, between her and Elias, it's probably safest that Chise take up this particular mantle.]
Where should I go to get the best groceries? [and a brief pause.] ...And a couple of cookbooks?

Tell you what is though.
His huge as fuck Doublade, which has become fascinated with all of Chise's little friends.
Pay no attention to the floating shield and dual sword combination hovering around here, trying to grab at one of her many, many hanger ons with what only looked a pair of pink sashes.
No big deal!]

Except one, which is currently flitting this way and that just out of its reach. Or so it thinks.]
Uh, excuse me are you the one that runs this shop?
[Look Chise doesn't know she's heard of weirder.]

[The gruff voice startled the pokemon from it's little quest to snag itself a neighbor, and the haunted set of swords darts off towards the greenhouse, just as its owner turns the corner.
Cassian... is... not impressive looking. He's still better than usual! But his skin is ever that uncomfortable shade of poorly oxygenated gray, the vague hint of a wheeze in his words.]
Tis just the security, him. Hasn't been botherin' ye much, has he?
no subject
No, it's fine. What is he? [To be honest, she's never seen anything like him before so she's curious.] I think he was more interested in the neighbors than me.

Not hard thankfully, Syeira's hands coming up to steady the other girl by the shoulders.]
Oh! Sorry! Are you all right?
no subject
I-I'm fine. Sorry, I should have been watching where I was going. [She glances over the young woman's face, offering an apologetic expression.]
You?
no subject
[Syeira's smile is genuine and friendly.]
What um, what are those creatures, may I ask?
no subject
You can see them?

(Then...) Uai showed me where to buy good fruit.

I'm getting the materials together. I'm pretty sure Elias and I will be able to help you in the next day or two. How's your memory?

He's not paying too much attention to other shoppers until he hears someone falling from some nearby shelving. She seems unharmed, but he supposes there's no harm in making sure as it doesn't seem as though she has anyone with her.]
Pardon my intrusion, young lady, but are you all right?
no subject
Sorry, I'm fine. [she's going to pull herself to her feet, using her mismatched hands to push herself up off the floor.]
I was trying to get something a little high up.
no subject
[He can't help but admire that. God helps those who help themselves, except, apparently, on this occasion where the determination has not been met with quite the reward she may have expected.
But still. While he's broken the ice already, there's no need to see her struggle.]
Then I would ask that you please do not take it as insult if I offered my assistance.

There's a bookstore there too with used cookbooks. Give them a shot. You'll never know what you might find.

[There's an awkward pause. Surely there's something else she could say, but...]
no subject
Sorry if I'm prying but you're not cooking for just yourself, are you?

It's not certain if Chise will find what she's looking for here, but she will find that there's an Audino peering at her curiously, as well as all those fey running around her. If her senses are sharp, she might catch a lurking shadow of an Umbreon too.
But it would take a moment before the store's owner, a mostly short girl with long brunette hair came out in front, apparently somewhat flustered from the fact that Chise had been there long enough without her notice. One of her Pokemon obviously had to get her. ]
Oh! Welcome to the store! How may I help you?
no subject
Chise shakes her head to pull herself out of those thoughts when she hears a young woman's voice.]
Oh... um Hello. [she awkwardly bows just slightly.] I was actually looking for a few components for a spell. I have a list, if you want to see.
no subject
[ Konoka hadn't run into someone who used ingredients for a spell in a long time. ]
Sure, I'll try to help as best as I can.
[ By now though, Audino's curiosity had compelled her to draw closer to those 'neighbors'. Konoka noticed them too but figured that they were sprites and thus wouldn't be very interested in her.
She'll take the list once Chise gives it to her. ]

[Satou is still new to the idea of having choices. It hadn't even occurred to her that there might be different qualities.]
I found a few cookbooks in the library, but I never thought about good groceries.

[she's listing off on her hands. But pauses to look at the screen again.]
But I heard about the library. I'll check there first.

Why are you looking for the best? Are you making something specific? Do you cook a lot, miss?
