You know, zome people might appreciate a dedicated paperboy, but, I find him irritating as hell.

[Rip may have gotten her paper thrown AT her recently while she was out for a walk one morning. Lets just say she's not thrilled with the resulting bruises from being hit by the paper. ]

So, how do you get him to stop trying to assault you vith zhe paper? I'd love to know at zhis point.

[Action: Later in the Evening: Locked to Castlevania residents....]

[After leaving a note for Namur to tell him where she was heading, she set out to visit one of the places she had been hesitant to visit on her own since her arrival several months ago. Rip was off to visit her adopted father at his home, Castlevania... She wasn't so sure he would let her leave once she entered judging by the last conversation they had last.

But, after her trip through the dream docks and now finally feeling her memories settle, she felt it was time they had a proper face to face chat. And perhaps she would hang around a little longer to meet everyone else that she knew lived there.....]

If you pay him, he will stop throwing papers at your or breaking the windows.

There doesn't seem to be a better solution.

Rip didn't even have to knock as she arrived, the door swinging open smoothly, the handle held by none other than the silver haired maid who had invited her to the castle some time ago. With a bow and a flourish she invited Rip into the castle. And, interestingly enough, she seemed to be human herself.

Though she certainly carried herself in such a way no vampire would mistake her for weak or insignificant.

With a bow and a flourish the door was opened wider, allowing Rip entrance. Had she been expected? "Welcome to Castlevania."

...Yeah, we've been trying to find a way to stop him for a while too. Do you have a tennis racket? Throwing the paper back at him works sometimes. [Though usually not for long.]

[But then again, she doesn't live in an apartment or house and moves quite often. She's more surprised when she actually gets the newspaper.]

[How annoying. Rip shakes her head, definitely not thrilled with paying someone like the paperboy money just to make sure she doesn't get hit again.]

Lucky, zhis is the second time he's thrown it at me since I arrived. Zhe first time broke a vindow.

[If that's the key, Rip might consider becoming a nomad just to avoid getting hit again. She does have several places she can crash at if need be.]

Peopel tried. I think Garrus even tried to arrest him...that only ended with him getting hit by the newspaper every single time.

When the door opened, Rip froze slightly not quite expecting it to do that before she knocked or attempted to let herself in anyway since that's what she figured might have happened.

Instead, she's greeted by the maid who Rip vaguely remembered. At least the girl didn't manage to annoy Rip on sight and if she was allowed in the castle, then.. she must be worthy enough to be there, right? The Huntress nods back slightly as she moves to step over the threshold at last.

"Danke, I suppose I'm a long time over due in visiting.."

Had she been expected? Rip wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

[She winced slightly.]

...Zo, I'd assume attempting to shoot zhe boy is a bad idea as vell.

I don't recommend it. He's annoying but that would still be considered murder attempt. Plus, you would go to jail for nothing since I doubt it would stop him.

Not like I don't understand the wish to throw something heavy at him.

Closing the door behind Rip, the maid strode quickly into the lead, gesturing with her hand for the huntress to follow. "My name is Sakuya Izayoi. If there is anything you require do not hesitate to let myself or any of the other maids know and we will be sure to get it for you."

She led Rip into a sitting room, gesturing to any of the overstuffed couches and chairs to choose a seat. There was a strange ripple of power behind her and, when next she looked, the maid was balancing an ornate tea set with several cups on a silver tray in one hand.

"The master of the castle is aware of your arrival and will be down shortly." She was already pouring Rip a cup of tea- wait, no. That was too red to be tea.

The trick is to assault him before he can assault you.

[Great advice from an intangible cat who has yet to be targeted.]

"Of course." Rip really wasn't used to there being servants around so she felt a little uneasy as Sakuya lead her to the sitting room and motioned for her to sit down. She chose the couch, feeling like she wanted a little more space than a chair might provide. Then again, she would be leaving herself up for others to crowd her...

She shoved down the sudden surge of anxiety and just took a seat only to pause when she felt that ripple of power against her senses and sort of froze for a second before looking back at the maid with a speculative look as she was suddenly holding a tea set and setting down a tea cup and pouring her...that definitely wasn't tea and Rip was amused by that fact.

At least they knew what she needed which wasn't much of a surprise considering. "Zhen I suppose I just haf to vait for him to show up."

..Vell, it vouldn't be zhe first attempted murder I've ever committed, but, I don't really vish to go to jail eizher. Especially if it doesn't stick.

[She sighed and still looked annoyed by that fact.]

Somehow, I doubt zhat vill completely vork.

[There's a reason Namur doesn't bother. HE REFUSES TO LIVE HIS LIFE IN FEAR!]

Forest in Fayren?

It would unfortunately be a few minutes before any movement in the hall outside could be heard, and even then it was largely the rumblings of a giant warg, curious about the newcomer sniffing around the doorway. However not long after the warg began investigating, the door opened. The warg was sitting obediently against the far wall as Vlad glided into the room silently. A maid followed him carrying a long but fairly flat box with a ribbon tied around it.

"It has been far too long, my dear. I am glad I can finally introduce you to Vlad Dracula Tepes in whole. This castle is a part of my very being, and you only knew half of me before."

He makes a small gesture and the maid steps forward, kneeling and offering the box up to Rip. "I've prepared a little something for the occasion, I'd like you to have."

Oh...? Did he hit you fair and square? Why didn't you duck and evade? Must have been a good shot then or perhaps you weren't paying attention.

[Because you know? Real vampires should have quick reflexes to evade even the simplest newspaper of doom.]

Not working completely is a lot better than not working at all.

[And she will too, probably as soon as she can be anyway.]
