Action

[To some, this may be a familiar face. Xander's near the edge of the city, having made his way from the bay into Genessia proper. He probably looks out of place in his dark armor place, and just standing there staring at the city as if he'd never seen one like it before. Really, he hasn't seen one set up like this before. He's used to castles and villages, ok?

So, come say hello?]

[Have a young girl approach you with a sign that says "FREE HUGS". Angelique looks at the man curiously and with a cheerful smile, he looks like a knight from a theme park or something.]

Hello! You know, maybe I'm, like, assuming too much... But, like, the way you dress and, like, the way you're looking around makes me think that, like, you're new. Am I right?

[ Free hugs? That was a strange sign to be carrying around. But maybe that was normal for wherever he'd ended up. ]

Yes. I just woke up in that bay area. Is it... that obvious?

[She giggles a bit.]

I want to, like, say the armor gives it away but, like, that may actually be normal here. The way that you were, like, looking at the city, though, that, like, totally gave it away.

Mostly because, like, I kinda stared at it the same way when I arrived. Well, maybe, like, a little less surprised and, like, more wary. Cities aren't like this, like, where you're from, right?

Not exactly. They're not quite this congested.

Or metal.

I would, like, suggest you to not go anywhere close, like, to Nova. It's, like, far more futuristic than this.

[She offers a handshake, pulling the sign behind her. She's not so desperate to try to feed on a new arrival so she won't even take energy with the handshake if he accepts.]

My name's Angelique, I, like, arrived here a week or so. So I'm also, like, pretty new, but I can offer some help! And maybe, like, some answers.

[Pause.]

Or if you, like, need to rant about all this I can, like, listen to you too. That may help.

I'll put off visiting that place for a while then, give myself time to adjust to this, at least.

[Handshake accepted and returned, ma'am.]

Xander. I found myself here... this morning.

What do you know so far, being here a bit longer?

Well, did you like see the hologram at the bay? But if you didn't some of the basics are like, that we're all stuck here and no one knows the way back to our worlds. Time is like frozen back home so your absence won't be noticed neither like affect things, which is like literally awesome if you had something important going on.

[She goes enumerating the points with her fingers, up to two now and adding a third one.]

There are people here that are like native from here, or so we suspect, you can like tell them apart from us because they don't have pendants or communication devices-...

Oh! That's right! You can like check if there's anyone you know from your world here with the directory in the communicator. [She takes out hers to show him.] It looks like this and you should have like gotten one upon arrival.

[Leo had somewhat of a daily routine going into Genessia City, planning to spend his day within the library and Schnee Company again but he would quickly stop in his tracks when he laid eyes on that familiar black armor. There was only one person that could be. And so he approached, being dressed a little more "casually" for the warmer weather and carrying Brynhildr in the crook of his arm.]

Xander?

[It was definitely hot. And he was sweating under that armor. But, that was a familiar voice saying his name. He turned towards it.]

Leo? What are you doing here?

The same thing as you. Brought here against my own will. Elise is here as well.

[So far, there was no Camilla. But now he has to wonder how long it'll be before she shows up too. Was the entire Royal Family of Nohr doomed to be here?]

I can explain further, but out of this heat, preferably. I have no doubt you likely feel as I did when I first got here.

[Although the weather has at least improved since then, but it's still awful compared to what he was used to in Nohr.]

I wonder... [ Who is left at home. His thoughts were along the same lines as Leo's, wondering about Camilla. ]

I will follow you then. This heat is... uncomfortable.

It was much worse than this when I arrived three weeks ago. This is actually an improvement, if you can believe it.

[Since he was headed there in the first place, he thinks a good place to stop and discuss the matter at hand was at the library. It helps that there's a place to grab drinks there too, figuring right now at least getting his brother a water would help him feel a little better. And the air conditioning. The air conditioning in buildings here was felt like a gift from the Gods, really.]

Seems now we only need Camilla and Corrin here and the family will be together again.

[He's glad that Xander, Elise and Azura are around so he didn't have to suffer this place alone. Still, he'd rather them be home, war or not.]

I imagine you have a lot of questions like I did, so I'll answer what I can. At the very least, I assume you listened to the message when you arrived? The "hologram" it's called.

[Whatever mysterious thing this 'air conditioning' was, it was fantastic and Xander is definitely a fan, still in his armor and all.]

I did. It seemed a wealth of information, even if I didn't completely understand all of it. A good start, I assume.

[Elise was wandering around trying to find something fun to do. There were so many new things here after all! But she spotted someone very familiar, and very missed. Running over to him.]

Big Brother! You're here too! This is great, Leo's here too by the way. We're almost all together again!

Elise! It's good to see you're ok. And do know that Leo is here, and ok also.

[ Well, that was true. Because even with the information he'd been given, he wasn't too sure about this place. ]

I'm great!

I wish Corrin and Camilla were here, and that it were cooler, but other than that this place has been pretty fun.

[She was definitely having an easy time of it. Not even having to spend a night in the commons.]

[A smile, she seems to be fitting in well. It's Elise, what else would happen, honestly.]

I wonder if it's normally this warm. I may be due for different clothing, if so.

I heard it isn't, and that it can get quite cold, but I don't know. There is a lot of variety when it comes to clothing her which is fun.

Oh! The three of us should go out to eat. I've missed you.

[It's impossible to avoid noticing Xander's imposing silhouette. Azura spots him some distance away, and moves to close the distance quickly.]

You look awfully confused, Xander. Is there anything I can do?

Azura?

[He's confused, but happy to see her.]

Confused is an understatement, waking in a place such as this. But, it seems I'm not alone.

No, luckily you are not. Leo and Elise are also here. They only arrived recently.

[She, however, has been here longer. But that's alright.] I can try to answer what questions you might have.

[Dove spots him easily on her way home and pauses, pulling her houndoom to a halt beside her as she feels him out. The dark armor is something she might usually be wary of, but as it is... she's in a fairly confident mood today, and he doesn't feel generally dangerous.

She approaches with a quiet tap of heels and a bright smile on her face.] Hey... Are you a new arrival, by chance?

[Ignore the fire dog sizing you up, Xander. He's on a leash.]

[Xander just watches the dog for a moment. He misses his cat, but that's for another day.]

I am. It must be fairly obvious around here when people arrive.

[She laughs softly, but gives him a friendly once over.] The armor kind of gives you away... Has anyone shown you to the Commons yet? Those layers have to be hot...
