[Yuuki was standing in the kitchen. Black smoke filling the kitchen as Yuuki looks downright defeated, breathing a very heavy sigh. Cooking was so hard, even making a omelette was not a picnic.]

Does anyone know of any good places where I can buy healthy ready meals?

[There is a reason that is obvious due to the black smoke.]

[And there's Kimiko watching her. She had been sitting at the kitchen table drawing originally but...]

Mama, do you need help?

[IS THAT FIRE BEHIND THE GIRL?]

[Oh wait, that's just smoke. But close enough. Kurenai looks at Yuuki with a worried expression as she is currently trying to wear her shoes over her socks.]

Dear, are you alright? What happened?

[She shivered slightly, she was not use to being called mama. It was really odd especially at her age, but to think in the future she would actually have a kid was just mind boggling no matter how much she tried to think about it.

Turning around she laughs, hand behind her head for a moment before quickly grabbing a towel and whipping it against the smoke alarm that was currently going off.]

it's fine. I'm just trying to make you a delicious dinner. Sure it's not going well, but still... I'm trying to be a good... mama.

[Welp, you actually have two kids in the future, Yuuki.]

Can I help?

[She gives a small smile and a nod.]

Okay then. Then maybe this time I'll jut make a simple omelette. You can't go wrong with that now can you?

[Once she managed to wave the black smoke towards the window by picking up he pan and throwing it outside for the birds she started to prepare to make something easier.]

Would you like anything with it, like ham, cheese or do you wan it plain? [Or do kids need something else, she doesn't quite know.]

[She had finally managed to get the burnt food outside in the hopes that birds would feast upon it, but knowing her luck would take one bite and be on their way.]

I'm fine. I was just trying to cook something fancy and it went horribly wrong.

Do you need help? Were you hurt?

I can go to your place to help you if you want.

That depends on what city you're in - are you in Genessia? There's a supermarket that sells instant ramen, and those microwave meals you can cook in a few minutes.

[It's a downside to not being able to cook good food. Simple she is fine with.]

Considering I've been helping out after what seemed to have happened to this place, I am. I'm thinking of maybe moving after I helped tidy things out in this city though. [But that sounds like a good idea.]

I do need help, thank you. But I'm fine, I didn't get burnt or anything thankfully.

[She nods slightly.]

[She nodded happily as she locked the door to her home in Attleton.]

Where do you currently reside, Yuuki-chan?

Currently I live in Genessia City until I get a job and be able to afford some place.

[She wants some place that safe at least and Genessia didn't seem to be it.]

That's not a very safe place right now.

But if you could give me the exact address, I can be there shortly.

[ Weep. She wants to be able to cook good food like her big sister! One day. ONE DAY. ]

Oh? To where, if you don't mind my asking..? [ And she smiles, shaking her head. ] Happy to help. My dad always said you should give someone a good turn the way you yourself would want too.

I don't actually know yet, but I guess to a place that's safer than here.

[All things considering she has a little 7-8 year old to look after. She comes first.]

Then your father must be a good man himself, right?

I know, but it's the cheapest place I could afford right now. I'm hoping to be able to move soon.

[She gives the address at least.]

Perhaps I can help you make a choice. After all, there are more affordable locations in the other cities. Just not Nova City.

[She said smiling before she ends the feed. In 30 minutes, Yuuki will hear the doorbell ringing.]

Yuuki-san?

[That means Nova City is out because she doubts she could ever earn enough to pay for anything really expensive. Upon hearing the bell raining she makes her way over, answering the door.]

Ah, hello. Come in.

[Kurenai gave Yuuki a short and respectful bow, before leaving her shoes by the door and entering the premises. Traditional, but it was a habit which she enjoyed with Kurei. They still had traditional habits even when they lived in a very modern world.]

If you don't mind me asking, what were you trying to cook, Yuuki-san?

Well... I was a fancy way of cooking eggs I found in a cookbook... When checking said cookbook is when it all happened. [Shouldn't have really left it on the stove. Then again she didn't think eggs could burn that quickly.]

I though if I could cook something fancy then... [She pauses for a moment, she didn't know the reason really, she guessed it was because of who the little girl she was trying to feed was.]

I guess I want to be able to cook.

I see. So this is your first time cooking it. Don't be too hard on yourself.

[She nods and then looks around the apartment.]

Where is your kitchen? I can help you clean up, and perhaps assist in the endeavor. Is it for a loved one?

Ah, it's this way. My uh... The child I'm looking after should be in he room next to it, so we'l try not to bother her right now.

[She nearly said something she didn't want to say yet, or admit to because it was just a little too weird to even think about as she started to walk to the kitchen.]

Ta-Dah, this is the kitchen. I opened a window to let the smoke out at least.

Ah, are you guardian of this child?

[She allowed her amber eyes to examine Yuuki for a while before she trailed to the kitchen cabinets, get her own apron, and wrap it around her waist.]

I suppose we'll have to clean up the pot first, and then we can proceed with re-creating the recipe.

[She nods slightly, looking back into the room.]

Uh, yeah. I guess here that is what I am. [It wasn't easy either way, but she knows she at least tries to help. She soon walks on over to the pot in question.]

Here it is. I'll take it to the sink. [She puts on oven mitts first before doing so since it was still a little hot, putting it in the sink.]

Okay, then I'll just wash it, but we could use another pan in the meantime, right?

Oh? Doesn't the child have any parents here in Genessia? Or, did they die during the accident over a week ago?

Ah yes, we can. Where do you keep the spare pots? I can fetch them for you.
