[Video] Sonico Suggests

Hello everyone! To all the new people, my name is Sonico - it's nice to meet you. I've been very busy for the past month or so, which is why I have been doing my usual music gigs - but don't worry, they'll be back on soon!

*If anyone has missed Sonico's smile and joy, here it is in plenty. The more Sonico talks about marine life the more excited she gets, eyes wide and bright, hands gesturing*

I have spent this time travelling all the various places in this world so that I could get a better understanding of the marine life. I saw so many things - big, small, and super tiny! There are so many wonderful species for people to see that I'd love to create an aquarium, or maybe just bring new things to the aquariums already out there! Aquariums are great ways for people to easily enjoy the life of the sea, with their friends, family, and loved ones. Besides that, there is so much to explore and learn, and I'd really love to share what I know with you all!

But... this is a huge undertaking, and sadly one that I'm not able to do on my own. So, if there are any guardians or business owners or enthusiasts out there that can help, please do get in touch with any suggestions and comments!

I can't wait to hear from you and to get to share such amazing and beautiful marine life with you all!

Aquariums, huh?

[ Ayame hums in thought, responding in video while relaxing in her new Tokyo home. Himiko can be seen in the edge of the screen just relaxing her head on Ayame's side ]

Hm... I haven't looked into aquariums or zoos in my spare time, so I cannot answer your question about one already existing in the five cities.

[ Nova City for sure would have them, given how advanced they are, but it's likely to be taken for granted as there are other things in Nova that outclasses an aquarium ]

But creating one sounds like a brilliant idea. I would love to get involved in this in any way I can, Sonico.

Uh huh.

*While Ayame thinks, Sonico blows a small kiss out to Himiko. She isn't sure what Ayame thinks, so when she says it's a great idea, Sonico lights up and leans in closer*

Really?! That would be great! I'd love to have your help!

[ Himiko's ears perk up at Sonico's gesture. Yay, a kiss from a fellow pretty lady! ]

Just tell me what you want, and I shall see what I can provide.

[ Ayame pauses, tickling Himiko's ears with her fingers while she takes a quick sip of her drink ]

Ah, now that we're on the subject of creating an aquarium, perhaps it might be beneficial to have it built on Attleton? Our beloved little town could use more attractions, after all. Perhaps Mayor Palmer might be able to help you there as well.

Well... I suppose the thing is that at the moment, I'm not perfectly entirely sure what it is that I want. I still have a lot of thinking to do.

*Sonico bows her head, feeling embarrassed at how very little she actually has planned*

I - I was thinking Attleton... But I didn't know if it was a good idea, or if I was just being biased...

I see. Well, apart from needing more attractions, Attleton could use more funds. An aquarium can draw in more people to help Dante's office to get more money, don't you think?

You're right! It would be a good thing for the town.

*Sonico nods with enthusiasm - Attleton is her home, after all, and she wants it well looked after*

So let's have an aquarium here!

[ Ayame feels Sonico's enthusiasm seep through the screen, feeling her spirits lifted by the younger woman's energy that causes her to think of bright things. That and combined with the heat and the topic of an aquarium, it gave Ayame an idea ]

If you're still eager to see more, I know a place with a big aquarium actually. It wouldn't have been reopened until now that I'm back, but the subarchway to my world leads to a city and point in time years before mine.

[ It makes her uncomfortable going back there, but going outside of one's comfort zone is a good thing. And if it means making her little sister happy and to make up for lost time together, it would be worth the discomfort ]

Really? Where is it? Would you like to go and have a look at it together?

*Yes, research is good and will help her with ideas, but it will be even better if she can do it with Ayame*

[ She answers. A hint of pride seeped out with her voice, which confused Ayame a bit. It is a city to behold, though. It's very much like Nova City just with more opulence and traditional culture mixed in. ]

I'll send you the coordinates the subarchway's gate in the city is in. What time do you wish to meet? I should be available at 5:00 PM.

Wow! Dubai? I had no idea there was a subarchway there!

*Honestly, she could be so clueless sometimes*

Uhm...yup! That sounds good! Let's meet then! Anything I should bring?

That is up to you and how long you wish to stay. At most we can spend the night in a hotel there, one with a beachfront and waterpark too. My treat.

[ Ayame generously offers. She can understand why Sonico doesn't know about it though. She doesn't really announce it to anyone other than her friends, and it's been closed until now that she's back ]

*Oh, that sounds so tremendous - Sonico looks so excited by all of this*

Then let's do a night, shall we? I shouldn't stay longer than that anyway - I've already been away from a month, and I wouldn't want Mobius to think I was running away!

An aquarium would be an interesting addition to the entertainment options of this place. Unfortunately, the most I can offer at this moment are my services as an idol. Promotion and fundraising are options, though they require a small investment.

Idols are always an excellent way to promote and fundraise!

*If she does say so herself. She smiles and nods, tilting her head at his mention of investment*

What would you need?

We would need someone to produce any promotional material, whether we run a commercial or create posters. Alternatively, any fundraising merchandise would need our manager's approval and funding: CDs, photo material, signatures...

While I have experience in many campaigns, I have always had professionals hired. I've been the professional idol in these circumstances.

*Sonico nods along as he lists these various things - of course they are important!*

Me too - for everything I've done here so far, my manager has arranged all of that for me. Apart from some photo shoots and signings - some of those I've arranged by myself.

Do you have a manager here? If not, I can speak to mean. At least if they can't help immediately, they'll know who I should ask!

Yes, I am signed with Fama Talent Agency. I seem to recall seeing your picture there. Ms Sonico?

[AI memory is coming into play there. He's done a lot of research into how Fama brands their idols.]

Perhaps a joint fundraising event is in order, then. I am quite fond of the ocean and would be eager to assist in the establishment of a proper aquarium in Genessia.

That's right. I've been with them some time.

*Yeah, she was beginning to feel like some old timer*

A joint fundraiser sounds like an excellent idea! I'd like to do a small concert, then maybe themed dress up with photos for sale. What do you think? Any other ideas?

That really sounds like a huge undertaking, but I'll support you in whatever way I can.

[ He smiles a little. ]

It's good to have you back, Sonico... you and your enthusiasm.

You were here for the wedding, that's the biggest thing that happened.

[ He pauses, then corrects himself. ]

Well, Ayame's return was big, too. But nothing of the sorts of dangers to Attleton, or any bizarre happenings. It's been a relatively calm month. It's been too hot even for the troublemakers.

And I'm sure you can do it, you've done charity work before. Can't be that much harder, can it? [ He thinks. Maybe. He really doesn't have a clue. ]

I'm so happy that Ayame is back! I missed her so much!

*Big smiles, cause she really did miss having her big sis around*

Hmm... I don't know... I suppose if I can get the right people on board it will all be okay? We'll have to wait and see...

[ He flushes a little at receiving such praise for his wedding, but cuts himself short before denying it. It's nice to be so valued. ]

I know, it's wonderful to have her back, isn't it? Attleton just feels more... right again. I don't think she's even going to move back into town but still. Maybe she could be one of the people helping with the aquarium. He shrugs a little. I don't know a lot about such things but I'm sure you'll manage it. You're good at bringing people together.

*Aww, Cassian, you are very valued indeed!*

No... I don't think she is, which is a real shame. But she can stay over, right? If ever she needed to?

*Then Sonico nods in her excitement*

Uh huh! Ayame already said she would help! I'll definitely do it with Ayame's support!

[ He nods, a tiny smile on his lips. ]

Of course. If Ayame ever wants to stay over, she's welcome to. She's one of us, there will always be a bed waiting for her.

You've got my support for your aquarium, too, you'll just... Have to tell me what to do, if there's anything I can do. I honestly don't know more about fish than how to fry them for dinner.

That would be great! Ayame sleepover time!

*Sonico giggles at Cassian's comment about fish, but she is smiling away happily*

[ He gives another embarrassed little cough. ]

You know me, doll. I'll help you in whatever way you need. I might even abuse my Guardianship a bit to help promote ya.

[Not that it's "abusing" his position. It's "making strategic use" of it!]

Got a city in mind for this project, or ya still in the planning stages?

*Sonico has all the big bright smiles for her uncle Gale. She giggles at his mention of abuse of power, shaking her head - typical Gale*

I don't know... I'm biased when it comes to Attleton, but I'd like it to be somewhere that any residents would be happy to visit. Where would you recommend?

Hopefully a difference for the better. Otherwise what am I in this job for?

[He taps his cheek.]

I think no matter where ya build it, people'll want to go to it. Attleton could use the extra excitement.

[And extra incentive to actually go there. But that's probably his bias.]

But in the end it's your call on where you want to put it. If ya want it in Attleton? Build it in Attleton. Follow your dreams and all that.

[He pauses.]

Make sure the gift shop has a poster like that. A narwhal with a rainbow trail with 'Follow Your Dreams'.

[It's stupid and he loves it and he's a genius, tyvm.]

*He's right - Attleton could use something to draw more people and more attention. It's not exactly party central... She looks much happier now that this decision is made*

I will have to see if I have any artist friends who can draw one up for me. You can put one in your office.
