Hello, I shall pray that I am not being too much of a burden to inquire of a question of mine.

[Okay, she is going to take a deep breath, preparing herself for this question.]

What would make a good mother? Would it be selfish of one to try for a little one into the world, when back at home a child of such a union would be hated for being born?

[Another sigh as she ponders her next words.]

I just wonder and worry if I would make a good mother. Thank you, for taking the time to answer my inquiry.

It is the most good to consider being a mother! Being a mother is the most honorable, wonderful, and greatest thing to be~ You get to watch over your little ones, have them, see them grow...~

For a human..are you human? You look like one, so you can only have one at a time-but it's definitely common, so you can have more..

If you guide them, they'll guide you, and so long as you give them love-soo..soo much love, and support..I'm sure you'd make a beautiful mother.

Do you have the support of your mate, too? All the support from other family or mates would be a grand idea too~

Don't let them be weak and you should be fine.

It doesn't matter what someone else thinks, only that your child or children have everything they need and are happy. The expectations between one person to another vary wildly and there's different styles in which someone can parent.

[That sounds a little harsh when she thinks about it, but perhaps it's necessary.]

Why would you think a question like that would make you a burden? If anyone doesn't like it, they can just ignore it and not reply.

If you're providing for your child's needs and giving them love and support, then that's all you really need.

Ah, I am a Laguz, a Heron Laguz to be exact. Ah, I hope that at least my first one will be one. Just so I can be used to it first before bringing another one in.

Of course I will love and support them, no matter what. I want them to have something that I never really had... A mother. So I will do all that I can to give them my whole being.

Become really powerful so you can beat up anyone who even thinks about causing problems for your baby!

But it could be an entire world hating them, wishing them nothing but death and misery... I know that I would do everything that I can to make sure that they are happy. But, what if in the end, they hate me? Or if I failed them in some way.

I shall pray for that as well... And for things to go smoothly with you from now on.

Because, it is an odd question to ask. Perhaps even quite the silly one as well.

So just give them my love and support? I can easily give them both of those things. I just pray that it will be enough for them.

Push those thoughts away, first off, otherwise you're going to worry yourself sick and it helps no one. Secondly, think about how to deal with whatever problem and reasons for that might be, weigh your choices and see if that situation would be something your child could overcome in some shape or capacity. Not everyone is in a position to be a parent and, hey, if it's better for them and a potential child to not do it, then it's good they realized that before having no other choice.

In the end, no matter what happens, if you do all that you can and what you think is right for them, then you at least know you did everything you could. You can't control someone else.

[She's humming for a brief moment on that last part before letting out a small sigh of her own.]

It's hard, knowing that you're here and she's not. But she at least still has her father at home.

Me and Darling, we are trying to have one! Nestlings are the ultimate gift for a woman as they can be the symbols of pure love of both the mother and the father.

First off, you shouldn't give a damn what everyone else think. Second, make your stronger if that becomes the case. And finally, stay strong for your little one too. Stay strong for the little one until he is strong enough. Don't show him you're afraid. Let him know he is welcome to this world.

This is always a subject I am always baffled by. Mostly because... Each case is always different.

Isn't the point to figure it out for yourself instead of asking? After all, you know yourself best. [Plus this was just a really dumb subject to her, nothing interesting she can latch onto for her purposes.]

You're not being selfish, and Ikkun can kick anyone's face who dares. You forget he's not just a beorc, he's a phoenix. He won't die easily.

And you'll be a fantastic mother, sister. Just love them as much as you naturally would and they'll be fine.

I don't know about "selfish", but perhaps unwise. Have you any idea what the state of such a newborn would be here?

Why would they be hated?

No, I don't. I would like to believe the people here do not have the same mindset of those from my world when it comes to such a child. A part of me fears for what is to come for them, but even then... I cannot help but to be selfish and wanting one with Darling.

A child born of the union between my kind and yours are usually seen as abominations. Things that should not exist. Everyone fears them at least back in my world. I know that for me, I cannot help but to pity them.
