Magical Girl Training Log!

Who: Satou & Anyone who wants
What: Sparring sessions at the Holodeck
Why: Because ~~VIOLENCE~~ Love & Sparkles
When: Throughout the month
Summary: In order to practice her magic against a variety of foes, Satou asked a bunch of people to spar with her. She might also have offered to help others practice their spellcasting or fighting skills against her. In general, though, this is a lot of fighting.

[Satou hasn't ever actually used her magic in a fight with Aizawa. Sparring with Bakugou is a norm, but not his teacher. Granted, Satou isn't comfortable with a teacher-student relationship: She's a working professional and taught herself just about all she knows.

But she's got to practice against more partners eventually and has heard Aizawa has a neat quirk. So here she is! Waiting at the Holodeck, with her hair tied up in a ponytail and her dress made with magic. Her wand is held at her side as she waits patiently, even bouncing on her heels with anticipation.]

[It's time for a girls' day! Satou has been over the moon since she met Bulla (well, except for the period when she passed out from healing,) and eager to spend a day getting to know her... and what better way to get to know someone than WITH YOUR FISTS???

Don't answer that!

Satou is waiting at the Holodeck, eager for an early morning spar. Best way to start the day! In pain!]

[Another chance to spar with her friends! Unlike many of the other sparring sessions, where Satou is waiting quietly and politely, she is much more energetic about this one. When she sees Bakugou approaching, Satou hops around... then sprints towards him.]

Kaatsuki-saaaaan!!! Katsuki-san, Katsuki-san~!

[Since they met, Satou has been itching to learn more about Liora. She doesn't actually know very many dragons back home, especially not any who are independent of summoners. The limits of what she could learn from Liora are boundless!

As is her excitement. Satou waits by the Holodeck again that day, eager for her appointment with Liora.]

Ahhh, I hope I'm not disappointing! I don't want her to think I wasted her time..!

[Satou never wastes an opportunity to learn from someone new. When she heard Allen looking for sparring partners, she hopped at the offer. Maybe literally, given how excited she gets about training.

At the time they agreed to meet, Satou is waiting at the Holodeck. With her wand in hand and clothes modified magically for the fight, she's ready to go. It's just a matter of waiting, and hoping her nerves don't catch up with her.]

[It's been a while since they met formally. Satou's finally found some time in her schedule to have a proper sparring match with Trunks-- and, she hopes, a chance to get to know each other. She'd rather be friends than just sparring buddies, after all.

On the set day and at the set time, Satou arrives at the Holodeck. She's just finishing up her stretches and tuning her magic when she sees Trunks.]

Ah! Trunks~! You made it!!!

[Among her sparring requests was a request to Rin: Handwave something here, but Satou was delighted to learn there were more female magic users around. While she's just as eager to learn from Rin as she is from everyone else, Satou is especially nervous about this meeting. Another girl... and a stranger...!

She really hopes she won't be a disappointment! Satou pats her cheeks and takes a deep breathe, quietly reassuring herself. She's an expert in her own field of magic! Surely she can teach Rin something back...! The little witch is still whispering reassurance to herself, back turned, when the time to meet-up arrives.]

[Though they met for unfortunate reasons, Satou has been thrilled to have a new friend! When she learned that Elsa had magic, and a specialty at that, she was even more excited. As shameful as it is, Satou was quick to ask for a magic demonstration at the Holodeck.

That's where she'll be one afternoon: Having probably finished another sparring session in the morning, Satou is eager to learn without necessarily having to fight. She's also nervous as heck: Elsa is quite pretty and refined. She's the very image of what Satou wishes she could be herself, and gets a giddy smile when spotted.]

Ah, umm! Ms Elsa, h-hello. Thank you for coming..!

[Getting a chance to spar with her friends might just seem like a violent hobby, but it's deeper than that for Satou: It's a chance to learn about her friends. Showing their magic to each other is, in Satou's eyes, a type of bonding.

And now she gets to bond with Noah?!

Satou is wearing a big, goofy grin when she spokes Noah. This is a dream come true for the pink magical girl and her obnoxious waving probably reflects that.]

Y, You're really here! Oh wow, you came! I'm not dreaming?

[Elsa arrives at the holo deck, dressed like normal and had a smile on her face when she's greeted by Satou.]

Hello. Thank you for inviting me. I hope I'll be useful for you on your training.

[ There's no question that Noah understands that her powers are dangerous, perhaps destructive with the wrong application. But at the same time, nothing proved magical power like a spar, a test of beautiful destruction. She is still confident in her magical power, despite having been met with several setbacks. If anything, a practice spar could give her a more accurate stand on where she stood with power.

Of course, Satou's fangirling seemed annoying. ]

Of course not! I don't grace just anyone with my presence.

[ Noah floated in, hollow eyes contrasting with her faint smile. ]

[While Allen had been here for a short while now he still found himself getting lost now and again. So with his little golden golem in front he had eventually found the Holodeck. It was certainly an...interesting place to train to say the least.

It was a Land of Dragons or anything though. But he knew he shouldn't judge right off the bat. When he spotted her he waved before coming over.]

Sorry if I am at all late. I got a little lost.

[Aizawa has heard of Satou's magic, and seen a brief of it in his rescue. It's quite an interesting quirk, or power, whatever she called it. He didn't bother asking what she was capable of, it was better go in blind and gain experience from it.

Aizawa been at the Holodeck for sometime. Actually, when Satou finally showed up, gearing herself, Aizawa scoot behind her, in his yellow sleeping bag. He was quiet for a while, to see if she had picked up his presence yet. When she didn't, Aizawa spoke.]

Hey, if you're going to bounce around, stretch your muscles or something.

[Satou, meet the sleeping bag sensei.]

[Satou was briefly confused to see a yellow sleeping bag approaching her. She gives a polite giggle upon recognizing him, then jumps up as she turns around to face him.]

Already done~! And my magic is tuned and ready! [She holds out her wand and twirls it like a baton, with the pink gems down its base glowing in confirmation. Of the tuning, anyway.]

Are you feeling okay, Aizawa-san? Are you cold? Do you need a spell?

Lost? I'm so sorry! I should have given better directions.

[Satou energetically approached, her smile wavering only with her nerves.]

Did you use your gps..?

Hehe! I'm so glad~! I've never seen magic like yours before.

['Fangirl' is certainly a word for it. Another word might be 'nerding,' since Satou loves learning about different magic types. This is going to be a treat!]

Are you ready to go? Do you want to do any tests or show and tell before we begin?

Soooomaaaa~!!!

[Satou was a bit late for this appointment. She had filled the start of her day with sparring sessions, since she rarely got time off for this sort of 'play.' After her second fight, she had settled down to run repairs and tuning on her weapons.

At least she was there now! Dressed up like she might go out, with her magical clothes and a magically inspired pair of sidetails.]

Sorry for the wait! I actually had to fire one of my guns today, so I was finishing the repairs! How are you?

Y-Yes, uh, definitely!

[Satou offers a little bow, since she isn't sure how to greet Elsa. Then straightens herself and points towards the room she's booked.]

Ice is a really hard thing to manipulate in my field of magic. Can you really control it?

[Though Dante was great about getting this crazy child in line, said crazy child didn't actually know much about him. She wanted to change that... and what better way, than by beating the shit out of each other?? Right???

Despite her intention to go all out in the Holodeck fight, Satou arrived in one of her usual black lolita dresses. She was still in the process of tuning her wand, a glowy process, when she heard steps approaching.]

Ah, Dante-san? One second! Aaalmost done!

[Dante showed up with his normal attire. He came with his guitar case and all that went with it but was ready to go hand to hand if needed.]

Take your time. I'm in no rush. Though, you got any preference as to how I go about things?

[Satou is able to multitask for this portion of the tuning, though her wand continues to glow pink as it fills with her magic.]

Not really! I’ve noticed when fighting Soma that I’m not used to fighting things with souls in them. Do you know any way I can practice with that? [It’s true that she can, and will, ask Soma directly... but she doesn’t want to only be trained to fight one person.]

I wonder if I should be sharpening my skills as a support mage, too... There’s so much I need to work on... [She pauses, catching herself and then correcting:] But mostly, I want to see how you fight! It’ll be easier to support you, in the event we have to team up, if I know what you can do. I’ve never seen you fight before!

You haven't huh?

Well, I'm not gonna spoil the surprise. Practice spar as it is, I'm not a believer in showing too much of my hand ahead of time. You'll come to appreciate what I'm capable of pretty soon though.

[ Noah held one hand partially out, faintly glimmering with magic. ]

Ready when you are.

Souls, huh? Alright.

[Dante sets his guitar case on the ground, opening it and pulling his trademark bastard sword on the ground before pulling out a pair of glowing white gauntlets and matching greaves.]

Good thing I grabbed Beowulf then. I'm ready to go whenever you are.

Really?

[Satou perks up attentively. Some of her hyperactivity begins to fade as she transitions to 'work mode,' for the sake of effective training.]

Beowulf... A sword with a soul? Is that common where you're from, by the way? [Her wand stops glowing and she gives it a thoughtful twirl.] Wands with actual souls are illegal back home.

[Because they involved stealing other peoples' souls, which is just rude.]

I agree! I can only fight blindly once!

[She giggles, walking to a screen that hangs in the air of their Holodeck room.]

Should we select an artificial battlefield, or is this empty space okay? I fought in a fake city once and it really affected my tactics.
