[Video] Prideful Prince
[A young man appears on video. He was still getting the hang of this technology, but at least he seems to have this video part down now.
Why does he look like the most uncomfortable dude in the world?]
Greetings, er, "Genessia." My name is Takumi, second Prince of Hoshido. And I...
[a grunting sigh.]
I need help.
I'm in need of a home, someplace that isn't this... Rundown shack.
[He means Genessia Commons.]
I'm willing to accept any advice anyone has to give.

Anyone?
[Even him?]
Re: video
[He means Leo.]

I definitely suggest a roommate. Have you gotten a job here yet? I know you're a prince, but a source of income will help.
no subject
I can probably be a "bounty hunter," since I can use a bow, but I am aware that is one, if not the, most populace profession.
[Wouldn't want to step on any toes if he doesn't have to.]
no subject
My friend Hana has a job gathering and hunting in Fayren. Could your bow be used for that? Or if you’re any good at tea, my place of work pays well, is hiring, and is very quiet.
no subject
Or, at the very least, cause enough damage to lower its value.
[Not that Takumi would dishonor a divine weapon like this.]
no subject
[He didn't get the luxury of a place he could stay at for a month. Quit yer whining, prince.]
No advice to give beyond "get a job" and then you can choose a place you can afford. Plenty of options in each of the cities.
no subject
[But moving on.]
Know of anywhere that has a use for an archer?
no subject
But your best bet is checkin' Fayren on that one. Some place there's likely got archery courses that could use a teacher. Schnee Co. might have a workshop for that. Can't say I've seen bows used too much outside of Fayren.
no subject
[Gonna need a bow for that. He can't use Fujin Yumi to teach students.]
I have one option now, thanks to you.
no subject
[Speaking from experience here.]
There's a beast hunting business in Fayren too if that's more your speed. Called Under the Sun, if you wanna look into it.
[He pauses a moment, looking as if he's sizing Takumi up.]
I could offer up my place to stay at temporarily, but it's in Nova. Only prerequisite is that you like animals. [A pause.] And not afraid of heights.
no subject
[He doubts it will fail.]
...Then I'll seek you out about the offer.
no subject
[He shrugs.]
Either way, offer's open if you want it. Name's Gale Reinhardt. Gimme a call or hit up the Guardian Skyrise in Nova City if you change your mind.
no subject
[if he'd like, anyway]
no subject
[Brotherly tease.]
no subject
I'm certain. If you can tolerate the commons for a little longer, I can look for more suitable housing. What sort of work would you be interested in, Takumi? Perhaps we can figure out something together.
no subject
I heard of jobs as a archery teacher and a hunter in Fayren. I intend to look into those.
[But one thing...]
Though, aren't you already staying with the guy with the two hair colors?
no subject
Oh! No, no Takumi! Uai and I are friends. He needed someone to watch over him as he slept, and I obliged. [forced herself on him because he doesnt take care of himself.]
Uai is already seeing someone, I believe. It wouldn't be my place. [so her own beginnings of feelings are being very clearly set aside]
no subject
I only asked if you were already his roommate.
[Unlike Uai who did say he had her in his bed. That implication is far more damning.]
video;
[He really didn't stay in that place for that long when he thought about it.]
Like work. Live the commoner life.
Re: video;
[Wars and junk.]
I've already found some options, even.

Re: v i d e o
[Two options is better than none.]
no subject
What options have you got?!
no subject
[He kind of likes the idea of becoming a teacher.]

[Well, he did say he's a prince, so.]
[Yang leans her chin into her hand and grins.]
Our house is a little nicer than that, but you'd have to share with two girls. If you're willing to do a fair share of the housework, I'll ask Mikaela if she wants to offer up one of the spare rooms we've got.
Name's Yang. Nice to meet you!
[Takumi being polite? Shocker.]
It can't be too different from sharing a home with three sisters. I've received some offers already, though. Once I know more about their plans, I'll contact you.
[Three sisters sounds like fun to her, honestly. It's practically what her team is already.]
So tell me more about your kingdom. What's it like? --Oh, and no need to be too formal, just Yang is fine by me.
Hoshido... It was founded a long time ago on fertile land blessed with fair, sunny weather, resulting in plentiful food supplies. So much so that there is more than enough food from crop harvests to feed the combined populations of both Hoshido and Nohr. This bounty means almost no one in Hoshido wants for anything, and crime is rare.
Along with cherry blossom trees decorating the country... I may be a little biased to call it a paradise.
Nothing wrong with that. I think it's a good thing when the people in charge care about their country and people.
[She leans on her folded arms, definitely interested. She isn't about to ask anyone to go give up something they love to open an archway, but man, she'd like to see it.]
Are they perpetually in bloom too?
Re: [Video]
On a slightly related note, these trees are the namesake of my younger sister; Sakura.
[It actually makes him happy to talk about Hoshido and his family. Takumi is definitely in less of a sour mood.]
wait until he finds out she's making friends with Leo too
[She grins with humor flashing in her eyes. She's glad he's relaxing, though. The prince has a sweet face. He'll be charming ladies right off their feet with that smile in no time! And speaking of little sisters...]
Aren't they the best? They're so ridiculously cute!
[Ruby is going to haaaaate heeeerrrrr.]
They're like little ducklings, especially when they're kids. Are you the oldest, or a middle child?
*random keysmashing*
[Still being new, Takumi doesn't know if this Forever Fall Forest place is somewhere in this world. Regardless, he wonders how bad the monster problem is.]
Y-yeah, I guess so. And I'm the middle child. The third one of four, to be exact.
[Plus two step-siblings. It's one big sappy family.]
no subject
[She smiles. It won't take much arm twisting for her to spend a day with a prince, that's for sure!]
Holodecks are big rooms you can rent that display realistic looking illusions. By entering the details you want into the room's controls, you can pull up all kinds of simulations. I use it to practice stunt riding on my motorcycle. All of the learning, none of the burning fiery wrecks. They're pretty sweet once you get the hang of them.
no subject
I suppose I can find time for a tour. I'm interested in these Holodecks.
[Mainly see if he can use it to see his siblings again. ... Or shoot an arrow at Leo.]
Not gonna lie, I'd laugh my ass off if used the holodeck to be petty
