001 // Video
[The feed opens not onto someone's face, but onto a view of one of the typical Genessia Commonspace rooms - and while this is the sort of thing that might happen by accident, the way the feed gives such a clear view suggests that this is deliberate.
Because, of course, it is. Just as deliberate as the forced calm in the voice that speaks: male register, adult-seeming if on the younger side and cool enough to ice a whole room even in the midst of summer. Someone is not pleased, but is at least not about to throw a tantrum over it.]
Might I ask who it was who decided that such...accommodation, loathe as I am to even call it that, would be a suitable offering to those of higher standing? Is it not enough that we are torn away in the middle of something actually quite important, that we are then to be faced with this insult of a gesture? I understand a need for incentive, to ensure that we do not remain reliant on whomever it was that brought us here, but surely the notion of homelessness after a time would be enough.
Not that I plan to be here any longer than is necessary, of course. But a little hospitality goes a long way towards improving one's mood, and I hardly think this can be truly classed as hospitality.
[No, he's not about to show himself or introduce himself in any way. That'll come later, once he has a handle on the situation.
And speaking of that, because of course he's already searched the network for any record of the other Hosts:]
Private voice to Kaoru Hitachiin and Haruhi Fujioka.
Would either of you care to explain what, exactly, is going on here? And I don't mean regurgitation of that hologram. What are they not telling us?
[He's happy he's not the only one here, really. This is just how he shows it.]

[Because that was better than a cashier in his mind even if they pay the same. At least you can judge people on their clothing choices and make better suggestions.]
My other job it depends on where I am needed at the time. So it could be Genessia one day and the Nova City the next.
private video;
[This better be good, Kaoru, because he's pretty sure multiple jobs are for the common folk.]
private video;
[Speaking of his job he turned his head slightly. He was checking if someone had just called his name or not. Might be a moment before he turns his head to look back.]
I work for a talent agency as a model mostly, but the agency decided to get me trained in another area as an idol. I don't know why they decided that one though.
private video;
[Especially since Kaoru can't really sell the twincest angle without Hikaru here, but Kyoya keeps that observation to himself, at least.
Still. As someone who has spent more time than might be expected marketing Kaoru - and the other Hosts - and gaining profit from it, Kyoya can't help but get caught up in that particular point.]
What do you make of the agency so far?
private video;
[Kaoru had taken the time to actually sit down and lean back against the wall, for the time being, all the time he was thinking of the answer to the question. What did he think of it really?]
It has its good point. They are helpful if you need help with something or need to understand something. But it also has it's bad points like say sometimes not giving me enough notice for some work.
private video;
[Hey, he has to start somewhere and he figures this might as well do until he can set something up for himself.
Besides. As the Shadow King of the Host Club he's pretty adept already at dealing with egos of varying sizes and deservedness.]
private video;
[Like he was trying to improve and see what he was capable off without his brother around.]
Just gotta know where to start. But that reminds me... I forgot to check if I have any upcoming work.
private video;
[It's only mild chastisement and not entirely meant; he knows Kaoru is more responsible than some but it still reminds him of exactly why most of the mundane aspects of managing the club fell to him.]
private video;
[He was already aware of where he might lean toward, but it never hurt to keep a good number of skills to the side for just in case. It was rather fun after all.]
Oh, this reminds me. Do you want me to come see you wherever you are?
private video;
[Not that he would even if he thought it feasible.]
private video;
[He figured that right now he should really finish what he was doing anyway. So he was on the move going to grab his bag.]
You could always grab a taxi, I guess it's easy enough to do. I wouldn't suggest the bus for you. [At least he is being thoughtful in how he helps.]
private video;
[And let's face it, no-one wants to deal with an already mildly cranky Kyoya on a bus with the unwashed masses.]
All I need, then, is an address.
private video;
[Kaoru is fidgetting with his phone and it's not long before an address appeared.]
There we go. With a taxi, it shouldn't take too long for you to get there. I just hope I can get there before you since I have the key.

Or you can go see the sights Genessia has to offer. Be the tourist.
private video;
[Not that he thinks anyone even could, given how vast even Genessia City is. That's before getting into the other cities, assuming he even decides that he wants to.]
private video;
Would be impressed if anyone managed to see everything in one day.
[Because you would need to move really fast.]
private video;
[As if Kyoya would ever allow himself to feel anything resembling boredom. That would just mean he's not working hard enough.]
private video;
[And one of those happened to be Everglade related. He was just curious more than anything.]
And who knows, you might find a place you like.
private video;
[Please never tell him about the Everglade visits. He'd hate to have to let it show that he cares.]
private video;
[Since he was leaving the dance studio.]
But enjoy the sites.
