Action - Genessia (streets, Welcoming Center, Commonspace)

[So. This wasn't a Rayshift. At least, not a normal one. Bedivere had been completely unable to get in contact with anyone from Chaldea, be it Dr. Roman, da Vinci, or his Master. This left him with a knot in his stomach. Sure, this place seemed nice enough, but he was needed somewhere else. At least no one on the streets was bothering him.

But, for the time being, Bedivere finds himself shoving his concerns to the back of his mind. Right now, he needs to gather information and find out where he'll be staying for the next month. As a result, a handsome though slightly androgynous-looking knight clad in his full armor and with a silver artificial arm can be seen walking along the sidewalks in Genessia, first from the Bay to the Schnee Company Welcoming Center, then from there to the Genessia Commonspace, where he'll check into his apartment.

You are free to catch him at any point during this.]

[The feed shows a new face, one who appears to be wearing armor and whose right shoulder appears to be artificial. Behind him is one of the plain walls of a studio apartment in the Genessia Commonspace.]

Please pardon me; I am a new arrival here. As in, I've been here a mere two hours. I ask, are there any current events I should be aware of? I have yet to catch wind of any news, and I would like to know if there is anything I should seek out -- or conversely, avoid.

Also...recommendations of places to eat would be greatly appreciated.

[As a Servant, he may not need food to survive, but the psychological effects of it still work just fine. And he might feel less uneasy after having something good to eat. He'll probably take it easy for the rest of the evening, then start looking for a job in the morning.]

There are papers that have current events. Do be wary though, I had mine thrown at me by the paperboy.

As for places to eat, I have yet to experience much.

( Kiritsugu had it in mind to scope out his new apartment, to get a feel of the layout and check whatever amenities he would need to procure. But before he's even unable to unlock the door, he not only spots Bedivere, but is able to sense a powerful magical aura from him-- not unlike that of a servant's.

He also looks an awful lot like Arturia, if matters weren't complicated enough.

He's not one to speak in this moment, but his guard is definitely heightened now, his gaze unfaltering. Bedivere, he's watching you. )

[Despite the bulk of his time being spent in other cities, Lancer still likes to spend time in Genessia itself. More advanced than he's used to but not quite to the scale of Nova City, it allows him a chance to learn without being overwhelmed.

Though today there's something else that catches his attention. For a peaceful world such as this, seeing anyone roaming in armour would be unusual anyway but there's something more, as he catches a glimpse of the unfamiliar man, something that catches the back of his mind and won't quite leave.

If the situation is as he suspects, it probably isn't a bad idea for him to investigate.

And so he makes his approach, as anachronistic in his own way being as he still dresses as he did in life rather than make any concession to where he is now.]

Forgive my presumption but you appear lost. Might I assist at all?

[ Rin has her habits here and one of them is checking the new arrival areas way too often in case ~~Shirou~~ someone nice from home happens to show up. Not like most or all of them wouldn't make a network post too, who even knows about this mage, maybe she's up to something like trying to summon him here or trying to make a way home or to another timeline back home or... Whatever.

Anyway, Genessia also reminds her of her home city a lot when that's the place where everything kind of clashes together from magic to technology and everything else even when it's not as visible as it'd be in Fayren.

Sidewalks especially when they're less crowded are nice. Today there also happens to be something...... different or extremely familiar in a way in sight when she sees that person there. Her first thought is Saber but no, that's not her, she'd know her anywhere. Who's that then? She could just pass by, ignore and have too many questions in her head or she could -- stop, give him a look from head to toes and back to his head again like she's trying to decide what to think of this.]

What, did they start a cosplay cafe or something?

[Hi. Here's a friendly looking happy face on a screen, not that she's sure how much she can help but apparently she'll try... somehow.]

Not bad, I suppose. Perhaps about as well as one can hope given such a disorienting experience. How about you?

The Cat's Eye Cafe has sweets to die for.

[The armor didn't seem to even phase her, then again the ebony tiara she wore seemed to give her sense of fashion away.]

Are there places to buy the newspaper after the delivery run has finished?

[Bedivere had been going about his business by himself, only speaking to those he needed to speak to, up to this point.

And, at this point, he can feel himself being watched. He can even sense an aura of paranoia. Looking around, Bedivere spots the only person it could be -- the only other person in the hallway, a man with black hair and similarly dark clothing. Not only that, but something about this man and his posture reminds him of someone...but he isn't sure who.]

Pardon me. Is there something I can do for you?

[As Lancer approaches, Bedivere also notices something off. He can tell right away what it is -- there's another Servant here. After spending time in Chaldea, that feeling is unmistakable to him.

However, Bedivere manages to keep an excellent poker face, and his body language doesn't seem to indicate that anything is off. Until he can discern whether this Servant is friend or foe, he has to do his best to appear unassuming.]

Ah, I wouldn't say I'm lost; merely in unfamiliar territory. I have an address of where I need to go, but if you're willing to confirm my directions, I would appreciate it. I'm on my way to Genessia Commonspace right now.

[The youth hesitated, pursing their lips into a fine line in thought before finally speaking.]

I am honestly unsure. If you like, I can give you mine.

Huh?

[The question gets Bedivere to stop and then turn toward the speaker. He's got no idea what a "cosplay cafe" is, but he thinks he once heard Blackbeard raving about something like it...so that could get awkward.]

Are you talking to me, miss?

[There's no anger or irritation in his voice; simply confusion.]

Umm...

[Bedivere hadn't thought of that. He wasn't picky; as long as it didn't resemble Gawain's cooking, that was all that mattered to him.]

Well, my favorite food is steamed vegetables. Perhaps some kind of place that cooks the kind of meals one expects at home?

Sweets, eh? I'll keep that in mind when I have a craving for them.

[Bedivere smiles. He's glad to get a suggestion...especially since it appears to come from a noblewoman.]

Thank you, milady. Is it in Genessia, or one of the other four cities?

Try the Dog's Paw Cafe in Attleton. They have a good food,.

Who else would I be talking to?

I didn't hear about this. [Cosplay thing happening, that is, because of course in Rin's own opinion she should know about everything in advance.] What are you doing? Did you even ask for her permission to go around looking kind of like her?

[It's hard to shake the feeling of another Servant nearby when it hits you. Even if he could, Archer would still likely check it out. There's no war here, but there are some Servants he and Rin should be very aware of.

This person, however, isn't anyone he's familiar with but as he's pretty sure he's been noticed already, so he might as well make an appearance instead of just leaving.]

With the way you look, you're Saber class, aren't you?

[Bedivere raises his eyebrows.]

Are you sure? You don't need it any more?

I'll keep that in mind when I go to explore Attleton. Thank you.

I'm sorry, I should have mentioned that I'm in Genessia for the time being. Do you know of anything here?

Um...I'm afraid I don't understand what you're saying at all. Whose permission? Who do I look like? And...why would I do such things?

[Bedivere could also sense a Servant when one is nearby. Were they someone from Chaldea? He has no recollection of ever interacting with him, so it's hard to say.]

I am. I can't say I'm surprised you figured it at a glance, either, given how I'm wearing the clothes of a knight.

[However, this man's class was far more difficult to discern. He can rule out Assassin and Berserker, at least -- but that still leaves five classes. And that's assuming he doesn't belong to a special class.]

Rest assured, I mean no ill intent. I simply wish to get a better grasp on my situation.

( Well, he can't exactly tell him why he lingers, or that Bedivere's very presence sets him on edge. So, instead, he acts as if he were going about his business, sliding his key into the keyhole. His command seals might show as he touches the knob, however. )

( Nevermind the fact that someone isn't a person he would ever care to see again, nor that his aura was not dissimilar to hers. )
