[As per his promise, Archer is going to go do some grocery shopping and prepare for making a meal. Mostly around in Genessia.

[When the charm quest for Attleton was announced, Memo was left puzzled. Her poor memory combined with a demon's morality leads her to believe the texted order. She is to commit crimes for the next week. This will lead to her wish being granted.

[The shot opens to a view beyond Memo's shoulder. She has already begun setting her monsters loose, and they are visible in the background: Large, shadowy beings that look almost human, except that their limbs are too long and their eyes are sunken orbs of white. They are selecting civilians from a crowd, inspecting them, then throwing them back violently. It's clear that they are searching for something.]

No pendent bearers yet... How dull. The people here are not very interesting.

[Though accidentally, the video shows Memo's face. She probably doesn't realize that she has sent a video at all: She's only intending to record this, in place of her memory.]

Perhaps I will need to kill some of the boring ones in order to garner their attention... or break a window.

[Grocery Shopping]

[Lan Fan is not a good cook by any stretch of the imagination. When most young women would have been learning such skills she was going through grueling training to take her place as a retainer for the Yao royal guard. BUT she does cook well enough to NOT DIE when it’s necessary. It isn’t exactly necessary at this moment, but she is in the mood for some traditional Xingese food and considering she was fairly certain she was the only Xingese person in all five cities there was only one way she was going to get it Xingese food.]

[SO there is a one-armed Asian-looking girl pushing a cart through the grocery store eyeing the produce with suspicion while trying to decide what may or may not actually be in the dishes she wants to make. Is this a disaster in the making? Yes. Yes it is.]

Excuse me, are there bamboo shoots here somewhere?


[Clothes shopping]

[Something else that was long overdo was clothing. She’d been mooching off of Winry for too long, and although Master Ling had no problem doing so indefinitely she couldn’t bring herself to continue considering the extent of everything Winry was doing for her. So for one thing, she needed to get her own damn clothes because she could neither keep wearing the same thing every day nor keep stealing Winry’s.]

[Of course there was also the part where she’d never really shopped for clothes before. That was one ‘perk’… if you wanted to call it that… of her position. All of her clothing had been provided for her since she was a child.]

[And so here she is, standing in the middle of a clothing store and looking just about as clueless as a person can possibly look.]

[It’s been far too long since she’s trained in any way, trying to respect Dr. Knox’s orders for recovery and then Winry’s decrees for surgery preparations. BUT DAMN IT, IT’S BEEN NEARLY TWO MONTHS SINCE HER AMPUTATION AND SHE CAN TELLS HE’S GETTING SOFT—and not only that, there was just the fact that she needed to get used to the intricacies of fighting without her arm anyway.]

Hello, Citizens of Genessia! I suppose this is as good a time as any... My name is Satou Kuroneko, and I will be the new Guardian of Genessia. I look forward to working for you all! [Satou will be at the Genessia Guardian Office for most of the day. She's working on making some IKEA-isc furniture for the office, including four more desks and a lot of rolling chairs. Of course, as a magical girl, she's able to cheat a bit... That's why the furniture pieces are floating all around her and putting themselves together.

When someone arrives, she waves and lets the furniture land softly on the ground.]

[Archer is around the Bay for a while, but he's also going to do a little grocery shopping before going back towards home, so he can likely be spotted around stores as well. Somehow, he just feels like he should cook tonight.

Good afternoon, everyone. This is Deputy of Attleton and Detect of Everglade, Satou Kuroneko, speaking. With this recent doll problem, I'd like to organize some defensive and investigative measures in Everglade. This will be entirely voluntary, so I'm sorry about that.

Those of us with pendents are a varied and talented bunch, and I have no doubt that our skills combined can get to the bottom of this. I'd like to start by organizing investigative parties: Pairing those whose talents lie in uncovering the truth with those who can fight to protect them. I've got three primary points in mind for thorough investigating and could use all of the help that I can get.

I'd also like to suggest that we group us in pairs or trios to help anyone being harassed by these dolls. If you can help with that, please let me know what your skill set is.

I'm going to make a list of interested volunteers. Likewise, if you're feeling unsafe and would like someone to help you, please let me know.

I have come to a decision. I want to open my own place to sell pancakes. I enjoy making them and it is a pleasure to see others enjoy them as well. So I thought, why not? There would be different flavors, seasonal and not, as well as the opportunity to decide your own ingredients and mix flavors.

I am, however, stuck with what I would name the place. What do you normally call a small restaurant that serves pancakes? I would love to hear your suggestions.

[Shirou has been in plenty of strange situations before. However, this was by far the most strange of them all. He's in another world, emerged out of a box in a bay with some strange items in his possession. And now he's looking over the literature after watching, of all things, a hologram. He isn't having trouble picking up what is written -- after all, he once had to gather info from an explanation by Kotomine -- it's just...really crazy. But it's what he's going through right now, so he has to press on.

Eventually, he tires of reading and starts to walk away from the Bay.]

( When the feed switches on, the first thing you'll hear is the sound of a phone clanking against the ground and echoing against the cavern walls. The picture stills-- yet remains out of focus, until it seems the phone has been picked up, showcasing the image of a surly older man with black hair, presumably in his late 20s. He gives a grunt of disapproval when he sees his image in the camera, and the picture begins to shake as he appears to fiddle with the buttons.

Finally, the feed shuts off. )

( This one isn't particularly talkative, nor does he intend to be. Regular patrons may notice he only speaks with the wait staff briefly and concisely, whenever he needs a refill on his tea or orders another slice of cake.

That said, it doesn't appear Kiritsugu means to leave soon, either. Gathering his bearings and all, his eyes scan over the pamphlet for a third and fourth time meticulously, as if he were plotting out a strategy, still halfway in disbelief that he was even here.

He does look rather new, though. Perhaps he could just use some help? )

[So. This wasn't a Rayshift. At least, not a normal one. Bedivere had been completely unable to get in contact with anyone from Chaldea, be it Dr. Roman, da Vinci, or his Master. This left him with a knot in his stomach. Sure, this place seemed nice enough, but he was needed somewhere else. At least no one on the streets was bothering him.

But, for the time being, Bedivere finds himself shoving his concerns to the back of his mind. Right now, he needs to gather information and find out where he'll be staying for the next month. As a result, a handsome though slightly androgynous-looking knight clad in his full armor and with a silver artificial arm can be seen walking along the sidewalks in Genessia, first from the Bay to the Schnee Company Welcoming Center, then from there to the Genessia Commonspace, where he'll check into his apartment.

You are free to catch him at any point during this.]

[The feed shows a new face, one who appears to be wearing armor and whose right shoulder appears to be artificial. Behind him is one of the plain walls of a studio apartment in the Genessia Commonspace.]

Please pardon me; I am a new arrival here. As in, I've been here a mere two hours. I ask, are there any current events I should be aware of? I have yet to catch wind of any news, and I would like to know if there is anything I should seek out -- or conversely, avoid.

[As a Servant, he may not need food to survive, but the psychological effects of it still work just fine. And he might feel less uneasy after having something good to eat. He'll probably take it easy for the rest of the evening, then start looking for a job in the morning.]

If anyone can see this, my name is Saber. Though I understand that we are kept relatively safe here, there is someplace that I need to be.

Even though I have only just arrived here, I ask if there is anyone I may seek out who can help return me to my world. [she raises a hand to her chest, briefly closing her eyes before speaking again, not a single falter to be found in her tone] I'm sorry if that is a tall task, but it is important.

Well then... [it's like she remembers that this thing is still recording when she turns the thing to show her own face. She doesn't look amused at all.] Rin Tohsaka and the jerk you saw is my servant, Archer. [yes, her servant, not any of yours, apparently everyone should keep that in mind.]

I have a war to win back home, so whether or not time is standing still there while we're here playing some house games with you all, I have no interest in staying around.

Really, has any of you even heard of the Holy Grail War? What's a mage even supposed to do for her job here? [Not sure whether mentioning those two things as soon as she gets here is a good thing or not but taking her to this place from the middle of her war? Not anyone's best idea either.]
