π SEGUNDA CANCION π VIDEO π
[The feed clicks on to reveal!
Mud.
A lot of mud.
There are some leaves too, and a few twigs. But mostly? Mud.
Hector's voice can be heard over the mud, vaguely, and it sounds like a normal conversation. Pretty one sides actually.
Really Hector isn't talking to himself.
I promise.]
Pues, I'm not really sure how it works here but you're the first one I've ever seen. And I traveled...a lot when I was alive.
[A pause.]
Eh? No se. I'm used to it. But hey, check this out!
[Whatever amazing thing- can't be seen by the audience, but whatever Hector's talking to makes a rather eerie laugh. And that's when Hector's heel hits the com and he gives a small ow. A bit of cleaning and hector's skeletal face is seen, grinning brightly.]
Oh, hey. Oops. I think the hole in my pocket got worse. Sorry amigos!
[He's about to turn off the feed when the spirit or what have you whispers something.]
Oh yeah. Hey, anyone have a pair of curtains they don't want? I...kind of need a door.

Re: [video]
Re: [video]
[Also, he kinda wants to learn how to make a hammock from curtains now, so thanks for giving him the idea.]
Re: [video]
Okay. I will head there as soon as I can, gracias!
[Hector can so show him how to do it.]
[video] > [action?]
[He gives a two fingered salute in farewell before ending the feed.
And indeed, when Hector shows up, Lea is indeed waiting in the lobby of the Sunset Summit apartments, a folded bundle of blue-gray cloth next to him. Oddly enough, there's also a small, lunchbox-style plastic cooler.]
[Action!]
Ey, Colorado!
Re: [Action!]
Hey, Hector. Got the curtains and stuff here.
[He offers Hector the bundle of fabric.]
Blue's not really my color, but I hope you like 'em.
Re: [Action!]
[He does reach out for the curtains, grinning widely at the prospect of a way to make his little hovel look nice.
Then he spots the cooler.]
Need help?
Re: [Action!]
At his noticing the cooler, though Lea looked somewhat sheepish.]
No. It's just... well I don't know if skeleton-people need to eat or anything, but I made you a few sandwiches too. If you want them, I mean.
[He then offers Hector the cooler as well.]
Re: [Action!]
[He, is surprised enough that he can't keep the shock and gratitude from his eyes fast enough. Shaking his head he tries to pull up a grin but instead, just manages a soft smile.]
Gracias, you, you didn't have to do that.
Re: [Action!]
Yeah, I know. You just... looked like you could use a friend as much as you could use the curtains, you know?
Re: [Action!]
Ha, I'll never say no to a friendship, amigo. Thanks, yeah?
Re: [Action!]
[He hands over the cooler, then gives Hector a friendly pat on the shoulder. It would be a handshake but Hector's hands are rather full at the moment.]
You can keep the cooler too. Won't be much use for keeping things cold if you don't already have a refrigerator or freezer to chill them to start with, but you can still keep stuff in it.
Re: [Action!]
[He looked at the cooler before shaking his head a bit.]
I couldn't, it, ay, Curtains get thrown away, you know? Who would throw that out?
Re: [Action!]
It's not a mini bar, just a small cooler. Though I guess you could keep drinks in it if you wanted. Anyway, they're not that hard to come by.
And you'd be surprised what some people would throw out, either by mistake or on purpose. But I'm not throwing any of this stuff out. I'm giving it to a friend; big difference.
Re: [Action!]
A friend? Oh. Oh!
[He laughs slightly.]
You're, you're sure about this?
Re: [Action!]
We were all plunked here in the middle of who knows where. All us kidnappees really have at the end of the day is each other. So I figure, why not be a friend, or make a few? Besides, you're a good guy, even if the fact that you're a walking skeleton is probably always gonna be a little bit creepy; why wouldn't I wanna be friends?
Re: [Action!]
[Not a question but a surprised comment. There's an awkward pause before he leans down and grabs the handle of the cooler. Just as fast, his grin it back and he leans on Lea's shoulder.]
Ey, alright! Amigos it is then. So, if you ever need a favor? Just come looking for Cousin Hector, yeah?
Re: [Action!]
That does happen occasionally, yes.
[Despite the deadpan comment, he is indeed serious, but gives a surprised chuckle when Hector leans on him.]
Thanks. I'll try and get that memorized.
Re: [Action!]
[He spins around, though his head keeps facing Lea, and he gives a weird backwards bow.]
I won't forget this, seΓ±or! Really...it's been a while since I was this lucky.
Re: [Action!]
You'll probably find that that tends to happen a lot more often when you've got friends around. I know I did.
