[After dealing with that bounty in Everglade, all Yang wanted was a long, hot shower. She wasn't sure she'd ever feel clean again after all that swamp mud, but here she is, fresh and refreshed, a damp towel slipping from her tangles of wet blonde hair. She waves two fingers casually at the camera.]

Yo! Looks like we've got a lot of newbies showing up. Welcome! I'm Yang, one of the deputy guardians in Nova City. You need anything, give me a call. I'm mostly in that city, but I do a lot of traveling when I'm not on patrol, so don't be shy and come say hello.

[She scrubs her hair with the towel again, using her metal right arm as she tips her head to the side.]

I'm also looking for some volunteers to help out at the carnival. There are a couple of charities I want to help out, so I'm setting up a kissing booth to raise funds. It's just going to be on the cheek, so don't get too hopeful.

[She winks.]

But hey, if you really want to volunteer and offer the usual, be my guest. Just keep it PG.

[There was something else she wanted to mention. What was it? ...Oh well, if it were important, she would have remembered.]

[ Since arriving here earlier, she's been doing her best not to be too alarmed, to "freak out" as one might put it, but she's found it hasn't actually been too hard to keep calm here. She kept bumping into and hearing such warm welcomes like from this sweet girl here.

It'd only be polite to say something back, right? Kyrie greets Yang with a warm smile. ]

It is a pleasure, Miss Yang. With such warm welcomes it is difficult not to feel a sense of safety.

[She chuckles, and drops her towel into her lap.]

You can just call me Yang. I'm not too big on formalities. What about you? Where are you from?

Planning on any puppy kisses?

Heh... You'll have to be a little more specific. I'll kiss a puppy, but I'm not about to lick anyone if that's what you mean.

[Fresh!]

No, having a puppy at your booth to kiss people.

[Sincerity mode, go?]

I wouldn't be comfortable paying for human kisses... but puppies are fair game. I'm sure there are others that feel the same. Might as well cast your net a little wider, right?

[Yang shakes her head with a grin.]

Puppies are cute, but they're pretty high maintenance.

[Zwei was a handful, she remembers.]

I don't think I could manage a booth and babysit a dog at the same time. Plus it'd be a little cruel to borrow a puppy from the pound just to return it at the end of the week. If you're volunteering to bring a dog of your own, though? That's fine by me.

Yang it is then.

[ She laughed a little herself, making herself comfortable. ] Kyrie... that's my name. As for where I'm from? Do you mean where I came from before waking up here?

[ There was a small pause before she continued. ] If so...I feel most here have never heard of it, but Fortuna.

I'll ask around. It's for a good cause.

[She grins.]

Nice to meet you, Kyrie! And yeah, that's what I meant. Fortuna, huh?

[Sitting cross-legged on the couch, she rests her elbows on her knees as she leans forward.]

Yup, that's a new one to me. My world's called Remnant. So how are you doing? Adapting to everything okay? Had a chance to look around and explore yet?

[Man, this guy really wants to get licked by a dog. Welp! To each their own!]

Just so long as that dog has a home by the end of the day. Good luck!

[Nah, he's just trying to help out her booth without offering up kisses himself because ew he's old. He really will ask around though, and watch the dog himself if he can get someone to agree to borrowing their pup.]

Speaking of causes, which charities are you helping out?

[ She watches Yang with a tiny smile on her face. ]

For someone who was told this morning they were kidnapped to this strange place, I am doing... rather well. I can't say I've explored aa lot of this place but...

[ Don't mind her as she leans off the screen to grab something. She comes back holding up the map of the city. And the few places she was able to recognize on the map have big red smile faces on them. ]

I did my best to explore what I could.

[ She laughed a little. ]

And it seems I was hit with a bit of luck. Someone from my home is here as well.

The GSRD, and funding for public schools to help out low income families, add more extracurricular activities without extra charges, stuff like that. It'd be split equally between the five districts.

[Awwww. Yang snickers at the sight of the smiley faces and nods her head.]

If you managed to cover that much ground on your first day? You're definitely doing all right. Good job! And yeah, it's a lot easier if you have someone around that you already know.

[Yang's not sure ~~how many people or things she'd have punched for information~~ how she would have handled it if her little sister and teammates hadn't been here first.]

So what's next on your list? Any places in particular you plan on checking out?

What's the GSRD?

Genessia Science Research Development... I might be getting the acronym twisted around. Basically they're working to figure out a way to study the barriers and see about giving people the option to get back home.

[She folds her arms and exhales.]

There's a lot we don't know about this place. The history itself is pretty murky, and they've only picked up a smattering of clues. If you haven't dropped by their main building, I recommend it.

[When it comes to parties of any kind, Fairy Tail always volunteers, be it in Fayren or in other cities!]

Fairy Tail can set up a magic booth if you're interested. We did that for to a carnival in Attleton a few month ago and people seemed to like it.

[She does not sound smug about it. Absolutely not.]

I suppose the next thing on my list is to find a job. The one from my home, he's letting me stay with him in the common space so I would like to get more money so I may help him in any way..

[Though Yang was looking for more kissing booth volunteers, she's not going to turn down more chances to raise money for charity. Besides, Fayren's guardian is adorable.]

Oh yeah? I'll have to check that out! Magic is pretty rare on my world.

[...Hold up.]

Aren't those rooms tiny? They're free, too. I hope he's not trying to make you pay rent, because you should have a common of your own.

[Who's this loser guy? Does Yang need to punch his face for taking advantage of a nice girl like Kyrie?]

I don't mind the size. I don't need much room. [ A small pause. Oh gosh, she didn't realize how she made that sound! She let out a soft laugh and shook her head. ]

No no, he hasn't made me do anything. I just... don't want him to feel like he has to do everything.

[Mirajane might volunteer to help with the kissing booths. Mavis? no.]

Sure! You'll be most welcome. Prepare yourself to be wowed.

[She presses a thoughtful finger against her chin.] We might bake cookies too. People who come to carnivals are always hungry for sweets.

When is it scheduled for?

[Seth hasn't really done a lot lately and he decides he needs to get out more.]

I can help with a kissing booth if you want. Or really anything else in the carnival.

[Bedivere would like to introduce himself to someone who's both deputy guardian of a city and has a prosthetic arm, just like him. However, there's one question that has overridden his thoughts at the moment.]

...I'm sorry, did you say a "kissing booth?" I've...I've never heard of such a thing before.

[Which is probably because he's too lost in the world of knights and chivalry to have caught that. In his defense, though, he is a knight -- though he's not dressed like one at the moment, instead wearing a white cotton button-down shirt.]
