[Video look you can't get rid of her stop trying]

[Minako's cheerful face pops up on the screen again. The window from last time has been repaired. There's a tennis racket on the desk that she's resting her right hand on, even as she beams and sparkles for the camera. Bring it, Paperboy, she's ready for you.]

Heads up! Everybody better start brushing up on their cooking skills, because there's a special one-time-only event coming up next month. On the first day of the carnival, the matchmakers here at Aphrodite's Arcade & Love Matching will be hosting a lunchbox auction!

[She holds up a finger to explain.]

How does it work? Well, I'll tell you! Volunteers pack a picnic basket or lunchbox with a bunch of food for two people. Then we auction off each lunch to the highest bidder, and whoever wins gets to have lunch with the volunteer!

[She sets her hand down and giggles.]

It's a great way to meet new people, or to just enjoy really good food in the company of a friend. Orrr in the company of a "friend."

[Stop eyebrow-waggling Minako you're so transparent.]

There's no need to sign up for this. Just show up on the first day of Azura-chan's carnival and make your way to our booth around 11 a.m. If you brought a lunch, we'll take care of the auctioneering. It's all for charity, so get ready to showcase your culinary skills!

Fortune-telling's just a fucking scam for sadsacks of shit with no self-esteem.

[Minako may be an utter novice at this, but she's riled up and driven to prove him wrong. Her hand shoots into the top drawer of her desk and yanks out a box of cards which she twirls expertly in her fingers.]

[Smack! Smack! Smack! Three cards hit the table face down, thrown like shuriken. There's no escaping your fate, Katsuki. Minako's determination might just be a match for his own.]

Can't I? Because it sure looks like that's exactly what I'm doing! Now silence, as Madame Topaz reads your romantic past! Present! And future!

[She points to the card on the left, then the middle, then the right. Then she flips the first one over while surreptitiously consulting a small handbook she keeps out of sight beneath the desk.]

[What the heck? No no, she can work with this.]

Romance didn't matter to you in the past because you were fixated on the ideals of justice. In other words, being a hero gave you total tunnel vision. Still, it's not a bad way to start.

[Minako turns the next card.]

Now to your present... Oh ho, the Knight of Wands. Yes, this card. Yes.

[Look, the minor arcana are harder for her to memorize so she has to flip back a bit to see what it means.]

Ah ha, the card of mavericks and unexpected change! Mm hm hm, love is pointed at you like a laser beam now, and can't be avoided. You just aren't aware of those romantic feelings! Honestly I'm surprised, but from what I've seen, I think I know who it is~ But! Because of the capricious nature of this card, those feelings could change or disappear entirely if you don't act on them. And that's why the future card is so important!

[The final card is turned over: an upside-down Star.]

This means if you don't take action, your future will lead to a dark dreariness with no light, and no hope. Typically this card would mean a rejuvenation of the heart, but since it's reversed, it's the opposite. In short...

[She points at the screen.]

You'll become an old maid, bitter and alone!

[Immediately her expression changes back to a cheery smile.]

[Anastasia just doesn't feel like it's appropriate for her to get involved any further than she wants to.]

Great~ So, um, what are popular foods for lunch besides peanut butter and jelly sandwiches?

Well, let's see... Fresh fruit like watermelon is usually good. Sandwiches, cookies, onigiri... All kinds of stuff! Just pick the things you like to eat most, and you should be fine.

[Anastasia listens quietly with a small smile while the options are listed. When its said and done, her smile widens.]

I can do that. I'll make a few bento boxes for you.

There's a carnival coming up? Huh. I guess I did just start getting the newspaper, so I didn't read about that before.

I'll admit, I'm not the best at cooking, so I don't know if I'll bring any food. Maybe I'll get my fortune read, though, if I have time.

[He holds back a laugh at the 'romantic future' prediction line, because he doesn't think that's really that important. Really.]

Actually, I'm still learning. I had a friend back home who really could see flashes of the future and read fortunes for people at her shrine. It seems super cool! So I'm going to add it to my extensive set of skills at helping people find true love.

[She holds up a finger, wagging it as if she's absolutely a wise and experienced professional.]
