[Video look you can't get rid of her stop trying]
[Minako's cheerful face pops up on the screen again. The window from last time has been repaired. There's a tennis racket on the desk that she's resting her right hand on, even as she beams and sparkles for the camera. Bring it, Paperboy, she's ready for you.]
Heads up! Everybody better start brushing up on their cooking skills, because there's a special one-time-only event coming up next month. On the first day of the carnival, the matchmakers here at Aphrodite's Arcade & Love Matching will be hosting a lunchbox auction!
[She holds up a finger to explain.]
How does it work? Well, I'll tell you! Volunteers pack a picnic basket or lunchbox with a bunch of food for two people. Then we auction off each lunch to the highest bidder, and whoever wins gets to have lunch with the volunteer!
[She sets her hand down and giggles.]
It's a great way to meet new people, or to just enjoy really good food in the company of a friend. Orrr in the company of a "friend."
[Stop eyebrow-waggling Minako you're so transparent.]
There's no need to sign up for this. Just show up on the first day of Azura-chan's carnival and make your way to our booth around 11 a.m. If you brought a lunch, we'll take care of the auctioneering. It's all for charity, so get ready to showcase your culinary skills!
--Oh, and for the whole week, I'll be telling people's fortunes, so drop by Madame Topaz's mystical tent of love and magic! See you there!
[Minako winks, and the feed ends. No newspapers this time.]

[She slaps her hands down on the desk, rising out of her seat.]
If you've never tried it for yourself, you have no room to criticize!
Re: [Video]
[Video]
[Minako may be an utter novice at this, but she's riled up and driven to prove him wrong. Her hand shoots into the top drawer of her desk and yanks out a box of cards which she twirls expertly in her fingers.]
Three-card draw: START!
Re: [Video]
...The hell are you doing? You can't just tell someone's fortune online!
[Video]
Can't I? Because it sure looks like that's exactly what I'm doing! Now silence, as Madame Topaz reads your romantic past! Present! And future!
[She points to the card on the left, then the middle, then the right. Then she flips the first one over while surreptitiously consulting a small handbook she keeps out of sight beneath the desk.]
For your past: Justice!
[What the heck? No no, she can work with this.]
Romance didn't matter to you in the past because you were fixated on the ideals of justice. In other words, being a hero gave you total tunnel vision. Still, it's not a bad way to start.
[Minako turns the next card.]
Now to your present... Oh ho, the Knight of Wands. Yes, this card. Yes.
[Look, the minor arcana are harder for her to memorize so she has to flip back a bit to see what it means.]
Ah ha, the card of mavericks and unexpected change! Mm hm hm, love is pointed at you like a laser beam now, and can't be avoided. You just aren't aware of those romantic feelings! Honestly I'm surprised, but from what I've seen, I think I know who it is~ But! Because of the capricious nature of this card, those feelings could change or disappear entirely if you don't act on them. And that's why the future card is so important!
[The final card is turned over: an upside-down Star.]
This means if you don't take action, your future will lead to a dark dreariness with no light, and no hope. Typically this card would mean a rejuvenation of the heart, but since it's reversed, it's the opposite. In short...
[She points at the screen.]
You'll become an old maid, bitter and alone!
Re: [Video]
[Video]
[She gives him a flat stare. What does Satou even see in this guy? She folds her arms with a frown.]
Doubt all you want, but I just revealed your future. Once you realize I was right all along, you'll be eating your own turds.
['Words', Minako. Eating his own words.]
[Video]
[Video]
[She holds up a finger and winks. Because hey, he's pretty cute, she wouldn't mind going on a date with this guy!
Don't do it, Minako.]I'm going to specialize in love fortunes, so make sure to come see me at the carnival!
[Video]
[Minako, do you want to have a Divination lesson with him? ;D ]
I don't believe in love.
[Video]
[She's definitely curious, and if this means she gets to spend time with a cute boy, then--]
[HOW CAN HE NOT BELIEVE IN LOVE?!?!?!?!]
What?! You're too handsome and young to be so cynical about that kind of thing!
[Video]
[Quite a good one, though that doesn't mean he can call visions forth whenever he desires.
Also, that is complicated.]
What does my age and appearance have to do with it?
[Video]
[She puts her hands on her hips and sighs. Does she really have to explain this?]
People are naturally going to be attracted to a person with good looks, so unless you've got a totally rotten personality, you won't be lacking in opportunities. And the more years you've got ahead of you, the more chances you'll have of experiencing love for yourself. So saying you don't believe in love is just being melodramatic. It definitely exists!
[Video]
Video;
May I only enter a lunchbox and not take part in the auction?
[Anastasia just wants to practice her own cooking. She had good results on her cookies.]
Video;
[Immediately her expression changes back to a cheery smile.]
I don't see why not!
Re: Video;
Great~ So, um, what are popular foods for lunch besides peanut butter and jelly sandwiches?
no subject

I can do that. I'll make a few bento boxes for you.
[All for practise. And just I'm case someone doesn't have a lunch box.]
[Video]
[Video]
[She clasps her hands together, eyes sparkling.]
We'll both get totally dreamy dates!
[Video]
[She's not going to be quite as optimistic as Minako, much as she'd like to have lunch with someone cute. As long as the person is good company, she'll consider the lunch worth donating.]
[Video]
[But she's still hoping she nets a hot lunch date with a guy above all else.]
I can't wait to see what you bring. I'll see you there!
[Video]
Your window got repaired? That's great!
[He had no idea a carnival was happening soon, and it's kind of intriguing. Might be a nice chance to relax a bit.]
There's a carnival coming up? Huh. I guess I did just start getting the newspaper, so I didn't read about that before.
I'll admit, I'm not the best at cooking, so I don't know if I'll bring any food. Maybe I'll get my fortune read, though, if I have time.
[He smiles.]
[Video]
[She giggles, delighted. Yes, this is going to be an amazing attraction, she can't wait to see everything go totally perfect with no mishaps whatsoever.]
And you should totally get your fortune read. I'll predict your romantic future, guaranteed!
[It's not one bit guaranteed.]
[Video]
[He holds back a laugh at the 'romantic future' prediction line, because he doesn't think that's really that important. Really.]
Ah, well... I'm a little too busy to worry about romance, but maybe I'll check the fortune telling booth out, too, if I can.
[Video]
[Minako refuses to take 'maybe' as an answer. Live boldly!]
video
[lonely girl pinged.]
video
Yup, that's the goal. But you know, you don't have to eat your regular meals alone either. I'm sure there are lots of people who'd be happy to join you!
no subject
How do I sign up?!
no subject
[She places her hands confidently upon her hips.]
Just make a delicious lunch for two and bring it to the carnival! Show up around eleven, and we'll take care of all the rest. Or if you want, you can bid on someone else's lunch! Pretty simple, right?
video;
[He was mostly pinged by food, but also because someone he is at least considering a friend here said something and it was polite to reply.]
Though... I didn't know you did the whole fortune thing?
video;
[She winks.]
You're going to stop by and get your fortune read too, right?
video;
[He paused, giving off his usual smile. Though at least it was a genuine smile.]
I will. I don't really have much to do except maybe patrol, so I'll stop by.
video;
[Most people wouldn't call it 'admirable.' More like...'annoying.']
Good! I'll make sure you have a bright future ahead of you. See you then!
video;
I would wish you good luck on that one. Bad luck and trouble always come my way. But I'll see you then.
[video]
...and fortunes? What's..that? There's going to be love and magic here-this'll be so exciting! [Hana wiggled in place, just as excited as Minako is/was]
[video]
[She holds up a finger, wagging it as if she's absolutely a wise and experienced professional.]
It's where you predict the future by laying down a series of cards and interpreting what they mean. I'm already getting pretty good at it!
Re: [video]
[Okay but that finger was really distracting. This dragon was tracing it's movements]
...Okay. Then I'll be prepared with those sorts of things! I shall find them.
[video]
[Hana is beyond adorable, she's bound to rake in plenty of bids!]
