Haunted Restaurant:

Matt can be found sitting in the back of the place tonight papers spread out before him as he works out various legal issues for anyone who needs them. That doesn't mean he isn't paying attention. His senses are on full alert as he is ready to jump up and sort out any kind of physical trouble as well. So mess with the slim blind redhead at your peril seriously.

Torchwood Proper:

Matt can be found in a few places here, either the gym testing his skills, in his office pouring over paper work or just wandering the halls. There are certain places he avoids for various reasons, but he always does his best to stop and greet people when he saw them. And if he catches a scent he shouldn't well he isn't about to say anything.

Residences:

Matt enjoys spending more out of his apartment then in it given how much of Luke's things he kept, so he can often be found outside the building playing with Wampa his cat or seeing if he can get up onto the roof. He might even be stopped slipping in his window wearing his Daredevil outfit if someone is up late at night.

[There be a couple nights where Aizawa be out late either be gathering information, working, or picking up something. He'd walk in his hero costume, a black one piece that looked like a pajama with a belt, layers of scarfs covering his neck and the rest were on his shoulders.

Of course one of those nights, he spotted some guy up on the buildings in some outfit. Everyone's a vigilante, and he doesn't recognize this guy.]

Taking a midnight stroll?

[He called out to him calmly.]

[Matt frowned and flipped easily so that he's facing the voice. He pitches his voice lower because he isn't sure if the person lives here or not and will be able to connect Matt to the man in the Devil mask.]

Something like that....

[Aizawa sighed softly to himself within his may woven scarfs. Who was this person? Would he be considered a hero, or enemy? It wasn't like Aizawa caught the Devil red handed. His heartbeat remained steady while observing.]

Don't cause trouble. I maybe a citizen in this world, but don't think I'll turn my head from an unlawful act.

[He needs to review the vigilant laws here too. One day. A Hero's license meant nothing here. Why did this world had to be so illogical?]

"Matt!" The friendly voice (and familiar scent and footsteps) told Matt who it was easily. Nor should it be too much of a surprise that Trunks had intercepted him on the way to the gym-area. "Do you have a minute?"

Matt smiled and nodded sliding over so that Trunks can move next to him if he wants. "Of course Trunks what do you need?"

Trunks did indeed slide next to him, they could even keep walking if they wanted. "I wondered if you'd been paying attention to the network? I ran into one of the new arrivals, but also saw he'd posted a few days ago. Meant to ask you some advice anyways."

Trying to give context, before he'll get to the point.

"What sort of advice do you need," Matt asked, "and I monitor the network yes...but most voices are strangers to me so unless they give a name I don't notice much."

"There was a new arrival, named Kanan. He was asking two things in his post to the network, one of which was about a spar." Hopefully giving Matt some reference, as they walked.

"But part of why I wanted to talk with you, is he's blind. But he also is clearly more capable than most, and seems to have an extra sense of some kind. I met him b/c he was surprised by a curb unexpectedly, but beyond that he navigated fine. Mentioned he doesn't usually need a cane."

Matt feels his natural curiosity peaking and he is excited. He's never met anyone exactly like him before and to know there might be someone who is exciting. "Really," he says his voice calm and even. "Honestly I don't need mine either, but it's the law back where I come from so I have to use it to respect that." It's annoyance Foggy has always encouraged Matt to get rid of but the law is the law. "Did he say anything else about how he might "see?"

"He didn't, I guessed." Trunks answers, slightly sheepish. "It didn't seem the kind of thing to ask about, honestly, without being rude."

"He most likely has some form of radar sense like I do," Matt said, "I would have to spar with him to be sure, but it sounds similar. And if you have any questions about our disabilities ask Trunks. We'd rather people asked rather then act like we need kid gloves."

That just made Trunks chuckle. "Matt, have I ever treated you with kid-gloves? Only holding back I do with you, or most people, is to avoid serious harm." Which was reasonable considering Trunks was used to fighting on a level with people who could throw you through most of a mountain or have a tall building dropped on you and survive.

"It's more that, it didn't come up for me to ask how his blindness affected him or not, and I didn't feel it was necessary to push in the short conversation we had." A pause, and Matt can hopefully hear the smile. "It's part of why I'm asking and bringing it up now, with you. You're also less of a stranger to me, than he is."

"Never," Matt agreed which is something he has always appreciated, "and I'm thankful for that Trunks really I am. My friends at home they didn't always understand why I had to do what I did. As much as I miss home....I feel like I've finally found more people who I can be comfortable around." He wishes his romantic life would follow the same path as his friendships, but if wishes were horses.

He touches his heart where the Rebel symbol Luke gave him still hung around his neck under his shirt. "I'm glad you did come to me. Until I met Jessica and the other Defenders back home....I thought I was alone. It would be nice to have another friend who understood."

"And as much as we try, we don't quite understand the way someone else with the same difficulty would. Which is okay." Trunks added, as he wasn't hurt at all by it. It only made sense, and there were times when only someone who was so very similar could understand nuances and experiences fully. It didn't mean anyone else's intentions and care were lessened, just different.

"I also very much understand the...need. To act. To do something. I'm lucky it hasn't gotten me killed." The impulse had been tempered with age and hard lessons learned, but Trunks would ever be a protector and the first to stand between others and danger. He was not comfortable sitting or standing by when he could do.

"Like I said though, his name is Kanan. He posted on the network asking for a spar, so that should be easy enough of an opening for you." A pause. "I'm pondering taking him up on it myself, if you don't want to contact him alone..."
