Because right in the middle of the hall is a girl with brightly colored hair having herself a nice hot cup of tea. Instead of saving up her money she apparently decided that buying a teapot and a matching cup was far more important to her. Anyone who comes near her, she tips her hat off to them with a bright smile. ]

[ After realizing that she not only "fell down" the wrong rabbit hole and ended up in this place, and realizing that getting back home wasn't going to be simple... at all, instead of getting upset about it all and causing a fuss, Maddie was all for exploring the city. To get a better look at the world and all the people who live here, what better way was there than to get a new view!

The world would look a lot different upside down, which was why Maddie decided to roam around walking on her hands.]

There are many hat stores here for practicing. [As well two other fully fledged hatters who have yet to make their presences known.] Someone suggested wearing hats on top of hats on top of more hats!

Oh! What a delightful thought! But what if in between those hats you place a tea pot as well? Now that would certainly be fun.

Then the hats would double as cozies! But the teapots would also become cozies, so you would have teapots between hats and cozies on cozies.

There are plenty of wonders to discover even if they aren't from Wonderland. I met two wizards not long ago.

Wizards?! Can they do real magic? Can they stand on their heads? Do you think they'd like to join a tea party?

One likes dark arts and tea and can also magic cats and yarn. [Is "magic" a verb? It certainly is now!] The other favours light arts but doesn't actually use it for art.

They both seemed a far too solid for headstands, though we could certainly invite them and ask!

That sounds absolutely positively fun! Perhaps when I find a way to make some more of this money I can throw a party for everyone!

I recommend getting a job! Then you can buy tea and more hats. Even cats with no experience can get hired here.

Oh! I have a little bit of experience! Back in Ever After dad had a tea shop set up! Wonderland Haberdashery & Tea Shoppe! I'd help him there when I wasn't in classes.

So I'll just need to find a job and then I'll be good to go! Hmmm, but which direction would be the best direction to find a job.

The newspaper is a good beginning to begin at, but do try not to get hit.

Very true! But do be sure to wear a filter on paper day so you don't come out knowing everything.

An excellent idea indeed! Too much knowledge can make someone go mad.

It can also make someone's head grow! And then they won't be able to fit into any hats.
