[ Sorry were you expecting a normal trip back to your room or perhaps your friend's room? Because right in the middle of the hall is a girl with brightly colored hair having herself a nice hot cup of tea. Instead of saving up her money she apparently decided that buying a teapot and a matching cup was far more important to her. Anyone who comes near her, she tips her hat off to them with a bright smile. ]

Would you like a cup of tea~?

[ After realizing that she not only "fell down" the wrong rabbit hole and ended up in this place, and realizing that getting back home wasn't going to be simple... at all, instead of getting upset about it all and causing a fuss, Maddie was all for exploring the city. To get a better look at the world and all the people who live here, what better way was there than to get a new view!

The world would look a lot different upside down, which was why Maddie decided to roam around walking on her hands.]

[ It was pretty much impossible to not smile back. Perhaps her pleasant demeanor was contagious. ] Goodness, you'd best be careful from now on. It would be a shame if your view were obstructed by a concussion. Spot anything interesting down there?

Well... I thought this place was a little odd and nothing seems to make sense, so I thought if I looked at it in a different way it'd make more sense, but all it seemed to do was make my head a little fuzzy.

[ She moves her fingers in a swirling motion by the sides of her head and laughs. It seemed logical to her anyway, but she must admit that sometimes what makes sense to her doesn't seem to make sense to others. ]

Ahhh, I see. [ He gave an understanding nod as if it wasn't out of the ordinary at all. ] You've got the right train of thought, I'd say. There's lots of angles here, though. You might be looking different ways for ages if you let yourself get carried away. [ Just like him. ] If you have questions about anything in particular I may be able to help. I've learned a thing or two in my time here.

I guess you have a point there! And if I let myself get carried away I'll get even more lost and a lot less found!

[ She let out a soft hum as she tilted her head. ]

I guess if I do need help, it's in finding a place to work. I don't mind the living space so much even if it is a tiny bit cramped, but a job is going to be needed if I'm to get more tea pots!

[ Somehow this girl was making more sense than just about anyone else he'd spoken to in ages. ] Yep. That's why it helps to have someone to remind you to mostly only look ahead.

[ Jefferson's hands found their way to the pockets of his coat as he shifted a bit on his feet, his stance a little more relaxed than it was originally. ] Tea pots, huh? [ He raised an eyebrow, but only for a moment. It was a tad bit strange how much they seemed to have in common. ] What are you good at? I could probably suggest a few places.

[ She was just full of smiles while talking to this man. She's pretty sure she's never met him before, but he felt like she's known him for like... ever! Like he popped straight out of wonderland or something. It made her feel a little more at home. ]

I used to work at my father's teashop, so I'm great at making tea. I can make all sorts of pastries and other baked goods... Oh! I'm good at standing on my head for a really long time!
