[ Sorry were you expecting a normal trip back to your room or perhaps your friend's room? Because right in the middle of the hall is a girl with brightly colored hair having herself a nice hot cup of tea. Instead of saving up her money she apparently decided that buying a teapot and a matching cup was far more important to her. Anyone who comes near her, she tips her hat off to them with a bright smile. ]

[ After realizing that she not only "fell down" the wrong rabbit hole and ended up in this place, and realizing that getting back home wasn't going to be simple... at all, instead of getting upset about it all and causing a fuss, Maddie was all for exploring the city. To get a better look at the world and all the people who live here, what better way was there than to get a new view!

The world would look a lot different upside down, which was why Maddie decided to roam around walking on her hands.]

Of course. I am not one of those people who don't. I would hate that.

I don't blame you one bit. A world without magic is just BLAAAAAAH!

have you ever been to a world without magic?

Not technically. Although, the place I was living before I came here once had almost all the magic drained from it!

And why was it almost drained?

[ She cleared her throat. This might take a lot of explaining. ]

Kitty's mom, [ She whispers the next part like it was some kind of secret.]She's the cheshire by the way, anyway She wanted to teach Kitty how to do some better pranks to cause Chaos. Well she put a magic spell on a book of riddles and brought it to a little festival we were having at Ever After. The Book of riddles swapped the personalities around of whoever read it. Unfortunately one of the sweetest people in the whole world, Apple, got a hold of the book and became suuuuuuuper evil! She came up with a plan to clog up the hole to the enchanted well that leads to Wonderland. Without that well, Ever After can't get any of the magic that flows between the two places! So she clogged it up and almost destroyed the whole world!

[If he had to be honest. He figured that was pretty cool thing to do really. Pretty clever as well. But he was smart enough to not say that out loud to the other here.]

I assume it got fixed, but I guess magic is very important thing to have in your world that something that sounds like a small thing nearly caused such chaos?

Magic is important in every world. Without magic the world turns dull and lifeless!

What about worlds where magic doesn't actually exist?

I've never seen any world like that, but if worlds like that really exist it makes me a bit sad for them.

How come? If you don't mind me asking.

It might just be my preference, but worlds with no magic? They just seem so dull and lifeless! A world full of magic and wonder just has bursts of energy!

I have no actual way of finding that out. Though I guess some of these cities don't have magic in them, so yeah I can see your point in some ways. Life is boring.
