It's just a question to theorize about, in general. I don't think a real answer is ever expected. Like people discussing if pineapple should be added to pizza or not.

Pineapple is sweet and tart. Pizza is meant to be savory; umami. Salty is fine because of the cheese. Meats are good. Vegetables are healthy. Pineapple is never appropriate. Never.

So the issue is the sweetness? Pizza topping should be acceptable as long as it is balanced and not overpowering. Some pizzas have honey on them to balance the more spicy flavors and fruit is healthy. Pineapples have vitamin C, manganese, thiamin, is rich in vitamins, enzymes and antioxidants.
